“First time going there after trying to find some different places to eat in the area. I ordered the California turkey wrap and a cookie, and both were amazing! It’s probably not somewhere I’d go to sit down and eat with friends, I don’t think it’s meant for that. But it’s a great place to go and pick up from if you’re looking for good, fresh food. I took one star away because after I got home and saw the email of my receipt I noticed it was a couple dollars more than what I was told as I was checking out. Sure enough there was a $2 tip added. Not upset about a couple extra dollars, but I would’ve appreciated the transparency and the choice to leave a tip. There was no screen that gave me an option to tip so it felt a little shady to me.
Good to note: The office building itself was easy enough to find, but there aren’t any signs to point you in the direction of the actual cafe. You have to go into the west entrance.“

“Afeera was very helpful and patient, it’s my first time at Charleys and first time in Illinois and I was happily surprised to see a cheesesteak place inside of a Walmart instead of McDonalds, Charley’s was on my radar coming here and being able to get an old school was definitely a good afternoon meal, thank you 🤙🏼“

“Came here for the first time. This is probably one of the best sandwich shops I have ever been to . We were greeted warmly by the cashier . We ordered the TantaCarne sandwich. Which was similar to an Italian . The bread was hot crusty and the meat was fresh topped with arugula. It was a very good size sandwich The sleeper were the pierogis. We ordered the pork veal beef mixed pierogis. It was sooooo good I ordered two to go. The owner came by to check on us to see if everything went well . I cannot say how great this place is . Come you will not be disappointed.“

“The wraps and salads from The Sandwich Club are top notch. They don't skimp with the meat and I am often stuffed after one of their wraps. The meat quality also exceeded my expectations. It was much better quality than what I'd expect from a small sandwich shop.“

“I stop here multiple times a week for lunch. I grab two subs for my roommate and myself, and if I come after four they do two foot long subs for less than $9 an each.

Also the employees are wonderful. They’re very kind and easy to converse with, and they remember my order.

It’s my favorite subway in the Roger’s Park area. Definitely would recommend.“

I got the gyro sandwich and wanted a healthy dinner, I am so grateful for all the fresh veggies in their salad. Very good meat! I saw other people order a chicken dinner, it looked incredible. “Lovely little sandwich shop in downtown Evanston. Delicious sandwiches! Fresh warm bread with an eclectic menu. Paneer Fig and BBQ chicken were delicious! I'll definitely come back to try more selections. Nice vegetarian options as well.

“I arrived to pick up my online order of 2 Ruebens and one mint milkshake for my mother's 80th birthday! Low and behold, there was a mistake and it had been taken with another online order by mistake. They graciously paid for my children's slices of pizza while we waited and then refunded the entire order. They went above and beyond and we weren't expecting that. Anticipating needs, attention to detail and gracious with the mistake that can happen. Can't wait to return. I had heard they had the best Reubens you have EVER had and my mother agreed. Thank you for such incredible customer service.“

“Update:
I went a second time to try more things. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. I don't know if it was an off day but the potatoes were dry, like they were left out for too long and then fried.
But the belly lox sandwich was amazing! On the salty side but that's how we like it. It came with a side of potato salad which was also amazing.

The food was good but not great. The bagel and cream cheese were good and standard but the pastrami hash and eggs were okay with not a lot of flavor. I'll definitely go back to try different Bagels and other items.“

Just upsetting that I had specifically requested the unsweetened pure leaf iced tea and instead got the lemon flavor which has sugar in it. I am diabetic and although I received a credit from door dash it doesn’t quite resolve the bigger picture. Left without a proper drink because the order wasn’t followed. I did not receive a call which I would’ve expected if the flavor was out of stock.“

“When I saw this deli open I thought, ho hum, just another deli. This is not ‘just another deli’. Selection is great, food has been outstanding. I especially like using their iPhone app. Easy to order and make customizations to your sandwich. I like to substitute the wheat wrap on my Spicy Southwest Chicken. The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. Support this business because they are a differentiator.“

I ordered through GH, but after receiving one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've ever had, I had to write something about it. French fries were amazing, just the right amount of seasoning and crispness, the onion rings were really good. I look forward to tasting the rest of what this Deli has to offer. “Best subway I’ve ever been to. This place feels like a Mom and Pop shop that happens to serve Subway. The couple that owns and operates this Subway take quality of the experience that customers get very seriously. They keep the place clean, organized, and play awesome music from the 80’s (great playlist selection). They are always super friendly and quick and have everything in stock. I noticed the quality of the experience and compared the ratings to other subways in the area and this place is about 0.5 stars higher than most and very few Subways get above 4 stars so this is a stellar shop. Classic subway sandwich taste and quality with nothing to complain about for the sandwich, got exactly what I wanted!“

“I liked the remodeled look of the subway and I absolutely love the service. As soon as I walk in I get a greeting and a smile from the employee. The food always smells and looks fresh. The bread is super soft as well, other subways have hard or stale bread but not this one. I will be going to this subway in the future and I highly recommend going here for a quick bite to eat.“
