“Party of two visiting on a weekday for lunch. Ordered the 12 inch artichoke and mushroom sub as well as the six inch veggie which includes a variety of vegetables. Overall, the sandwiches were really good. The artichoke sub felt a little dry with a lack of sauces outside of mayo. The bread was super soft and nice. The subs can't be eaten without your hands really messy since the sandwiches are full of ingredients making the bread too soft to hold the vegetables.Would definitely come here again.Vegetarian options: There are two veggie options. The employees are helpful, and the place looked very clean. The menu has a lot of options, and I was happily surprised they have gluten free bread which was the best gluten free bread I have ever had a sandwich on. The contents on the sandwich were flavorful and you could tell they were fresh. It came with a side salad which had a great dressing on it. Overall, the meal was worth the price, and I would recommend trying them out yourself. I did spot a homemade galeto selection, but didn't indulge on this first trip, but I may need to check that out and report back in the future.“
“Went looking for a Clam Chowder last week and found it at Starship. My husband and I enjoyed it- it was so delicious. It was slightly creamy and had a wonderful amount of clams and potatoes in it. The best part was the bit of “heat” in the chowder. For me the heat manifested itself at the back of the throat, a lovely warm sensation. ( maybe pepper?) The chowder was seasoned perfectly, the texture was great and they are always generous with the bread and crackers. Best clam chowder I have had outside of Boston. I decided to try a Philly cheese steak on white. It was the best new thing I've eaten in my life. Alecia who manages the location was so nice and accommodating. We have a franchise near our house but I will always go see Alecia for all future orders. They know what they are doing. I went back again last night and got another of our same order. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing.
