“I’m so happy to have found an awesome bagel shop not far from home! We ordered The Obvious and Sweet & Tart and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were packed with cream cheese and toppings. I also wasn’t expecting the coffee to be so amazing! I ordered a 16 oz. iced caramel latte and it was perfectly sweet and strong. We will be making Daly Bagel part of our weekend routine! Plan on getting your food to-go, though, because there is limited seating (especially on weekends) and it’s pretty toasty in there.“

Look at these luscious layers of pastry hugging eggs and some crispy plancha sausage! Look at them! Few things are perfect or capable of changing your life. “I really like the bagels here and the sandwiches are great but they do this pet peeve of mine where they post their hours stating they’re open until 3:00 pm. I went there at 2:34 to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese to go and was informed their kitchen closes at 2:30. Just close the store. Lock the door. Turn off the lights at 2:30 then. You’re a bagel place. If you’re not serving food past 2:30 there is no reason to be open.“

“I fricken love this place, man. I work around the corner so I pop in a few times a month, everything i have eaten here is so consistently delicious and the staff is literally golden. So many of them remember me and go out of their way to be sweet and kind without slowing the line down. The line gets long sometimes on the weekends mid-morning but they keep it moving! 100000/5 stars. See you guys soon!“

Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out! My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

“I drove up north from Andersonville after hearing great reviews about New York Bagel & Bialy fresh baked bagels, and was not disappointed. We went Saturday morning, around 10am. There was a line out the door, but it moved at a reasonable pace without anyone rushing around. It probably took no more than 10 minutes to order, and another 5-10 minutes to get our New York Breakfast sandwich and bagel/spread. They have a great selection of fresh baked desserts and sweets, which I'll be getting next time! Great price for the quality and quantity, and easy to share.“

“I've been going there ever since they opened up many years ago. There are many of the same staff there and they work their butt off! And the place is just the absolute best hands down! I just found my new fave sandwich...the Turkey on a plain toasted bagel and it comes with lettuce, red onion, tomato &some sort of mustard. It's amazing!“

“Hit up The Great American Bagel this morning and shelled out about $12. Ordered a sausage‑egg‑cheese on an Asiago bagel plus a medium hazelnut coffee and tossed in a cream cheese tub to go. Bagel was fresh, nice and toasty, and the staff was super friendly. Bar vibe is just counter‑serve, nothing fancy. Grab‑and‑go vibe, solid for a quick breakfast.“
