“The prices are great the food is really good. Staff was really nice and the place was cute. The only thing I would say is it's a weird spot for parking so try to come in off peak hours or just be prepared to walk about half a block.

Vegetarian options: Almost any dish can be veggie or tofu at your option.

Parking: There are a few food establishments in a row with limited parking.

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“The staff makes you feel like family every time you go there. The food is amazing also and they always know how to cook my filet just right as a lot of places either under or over cook it. Mr. Benny's is old school and we love it! It's a treat when we go there.“

“I ordered the lamb chops called in to ask what comes with the meal was told a grilled tomato and grilled onion which did not come with mine for some strange reason $28 I should have gotten everything anyway I can say that it was seasoned well however meet was a little chewy could have been more tender perhaps cooked a bit longer rice was good restaurant smelled like fish but I guess it's a seafood restaurant so I digress not the greatest but not bad“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“

“Food was over all nice tasting, service was good too. Bread could have been warmer,. Baklava, fillet mignon kabab entrée and hummus were fresh and delicious. Entrées need homemade sauces and not commercial hot sauce or Sriracha sauce. My tabbouleh had gravels in it, could not eat it.“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. “The night before our wedding, we brought our parents out for a nice, quiet dinner before the wedding festivities. I dropped a note in the reservation system about the special occasion and appreciated the recognition from the staff with a nice note, little sign, and a rose!

“I’m from the coast and all my life I’ve loved sea food. My wife took me here for Father’s Day and I gotta tell you, it did not disappoint.
The wait was reasonable being a special day, they give you a cup of warm consome while you wait for your food. We had the veracruzana fillet, shrimp empanadas and a shrimp/octopus cocktail and the taste was just exquisite. It reminded me of my hometown“

Parking: The parking spots could be bigger and it might get difficult on super busy days but it is ok if you park on the street.“

Cozy spot with ocean-blue walls and live music—got a bit loud, but adds to the vibe. Staff brought a complimentary ceviche tostada, which was a nice touch. Overall a fun night, would totally go back.“

“Food and service were fantastic. We were thrilled to find this place open after 11PM. Our flight was late, and my coworker and I had to drive two hours before arriving at our hotel. Starving and desperate, we found this food joint about to close but they graciously let us eat inside, serving us the best food ever!

The staff didn't rush us or even hint at kicking us out like they do in NY or NJ. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the King Nachos, and my coworker got the fried catfish. Plus, two iced teas for a total of $36. A fair price for a meal that saved us from gnawing on the hotel’s pillows!

Now, the area is a bit sketchy. We, the only two people in business suits, definitely stood out like sore thumbs. Lol. After we finished, the staff politely closed up shop. Thanks again, folks, for the great service!

“Haven't been here in quite a while, but thought I'd stop in and get a king jalapeno and bacon Philly steak sandwich with a blooming onion the food was great but I don't think I would get the bacon in the Philly cheese steak as it seemed a bit too salty for me. The service was quick and friendly even though it was very busy at around 4:00 p.m. when I stopped in. Would recommend this place as it has a large menu of different foods to order from.“
