“The staff at the Homer Glen Jersey Mike's is fantastic! They are always friendly and helpful. They are as fast as they can be. Their business model does mean the food takes a little longer than say, subway, but it is definitely worth the extra 1-2 minutes.“

“I had to share an incredible experience we had at Subway at 14704 Cicero ave in Midlothian recently. As a high school teacher, I brought in a group of my English learner students to practice real-world language skills, and the two sandwich artists working today absolutely blew me away.

From the moment we walked in, Hemil and Akra were patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping my students succeed. Instead of rushing them, they took the time to ask thoughtful questions, gently encourage them to speak louder, and even gave them the space to practice, even when it took a little extra time.

What could have been an overwhelming experience for my students turned into something empowering and joyful, all because of the kindness and understanding that Hemil and Akra showed. They didn’t just make sandwiches, they created a safe, supportive environment where my students felt confident using their voices.

“You have to fill your order out on a small paper bag when you walk in. I didn't realize that until it was my turn at the counter and had to go back and fill out a bag (I definitely wasn't the only one who did this). This was something that I guess tries to set them apart but is just more of a hassle.

The sandwich was great! I would reccomend getting th large size if you are looking for a comparable size sandwich to competitors, like JJ's and JM's. I would definitely go back.“

They only gave me two slices of meat, one of each ham and roast beef Which I think they forgot the turkey. My fiancé got a double cheeseburger we had bacon each bacon strip was $1.47 but yet it seemed like they just grab one bacon strip and cut it in half instead of giving lots of two whole strips the food used to be good here, but I don’t know for what reason they Started lacking“

“Under normal circumstances, this location does a great job with the food and service. Please consider that customers should not be allowed to enter the store during standard lunch time and place an order for ten sandwiches. Large and/or catered orders should be forced to order ahead or on an app. The customer that was allowed to order ten sandwiches backed up the store line. He caused an additional twenty minute wait. Three people either walked in the store and immediately walked out or they were in line and left without ordering.“

“I love ordering great food from this specific Jimmy Johns because the ingredients taste so fresh and I have always had excellent customer service experiences there. The blonde tall guy with blue eyes who works the front counter has always been hella nice to me ever since i first stepped foot in there, and he's not too bad on the eyes as well, which is a plus ;) I wouldnt mind taking him for a ride on my Ninja 400 some time and maybe taking a trip to another Jimmy Johns store for food! “I order the largest Philly cheese steak with everything on it. My opinion of it was a solid 4.0/5, the meat lacked flavor imo, peppers weren't cooked long enough. However the sandwich overall was pretty tasty, far from the best, but for a nice change from the normal fast foods it hit nicely. Can't really judge anything else but the food since it's inside of Walmart. Employees were fine, and was quite clean. I'd recommend at least giving it a try if your already in Walmart, but probably not worth going into Walmart just for this food.“
