“Ok, here’s the thing… I love food. And when I say I love food, you might think I’m a huge person or a food critic or a chef or just a dramatic fan. Well, I am actually an artist, and I… I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the food we received was *high art.* I don’t mean the kind of pretentious high art food that is served in tiny portions and so beautiful that you almost don’t want to eat it. I mean that it was masterfully created—flavorful, textured to perfection, filling, and lamentable *only* in that I wish I’d had room for more. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer—which I’ll admit is not usually my favorite, but my wife generally loves—served upon a sprinkle of arugula and a slashed drizzle of balsamic glaze. Imma tell ya… I like stuffed mushrooms now. My wife ordered an entrée of eggplant Parmesan—one that she doesn’t care to make often for herself only because (and I’m quoting), “It’s a pain in the a$$ to cook.” I ordered linguine Pomodoro with added shrimp and had the steamed mussels appetizer served with my entrée, so that I could add them in (as I *do* love a tutto mare). Since my wife’s entrée was one of her favorites, and I don’t generally care for it, I left her to it, concentrating on my own. I shucked all the mussels and strained their accompanying shallots and bacon into my linguine leaving the garlic and cilantro pesto behind for bread dipping. OH [*clap*clap*clap*]—I forgot to mention the bread. They served a fantastic mini loaf of the softest bread topped with caramelized onions alongside fresh grated Parmesan in olive oil. Upon our finishing it off, I asked for a second helping. Back to the entrée… My first actual bite was of the mussels, and that bite was fantastic. Then I had one of the shrimp… and… here’s the thing… I am a poet, and I also write children’s books, so when I tell you that I simply do not have a superlative sufficient to describe the shrimp, you know I’m being serious. It was warm, seasoned, and snappy as shrimp should be, but it gave me pause—as Anton Ego in Ratatouille. * First, doubt—that I had experienced something so specifically wonderful before * Then, a quick scan from childhood to now for confirmation * And lastly, the comfort that can only come from those happiest memories of childhood—Christmas mornings on receiving more than you could ever have hoped for, Halloween nights’ preparations for what giggles and terrors were to come, and burrito-you ensconced in soft blankets straight from the dryer Then of course, the rest of the dish, twirled and slurped—not too quickly… every bite a confirmation and yet still a revelation. Here again, my only lament that I must see a portion of it boxed to leave room for dessert. And… dessert. Oh, boy… Seeing all of the items, my wife and I—in celebration of our 26th anniversary—decided on the sampler. Listen up, folks: flourless chocolate torta, crème custard napoleon, and gooey butter cake. JFC are you serious? Every bite more sumptuous—more scrumptious than the last. Every bit a reassurance that I will return. Our server, Chelsea, was commendable not only for her menu knowledge and sense of humor, but it’s not for nothing that she was absolutely on top of it with regard to my tea refills (which were many, as our dinner took place after a dehydratingly-busy workday for me). We will definitely be returning to Eleven Eleven, whereupon I intend to try a few different items, my palate then flooded with new sensations—new wonders… my only lament that I will not ever have that “first time experience” again.“

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

“A hidden gem. The food is always delicious. A must try for breakfast. The omelets are huge and could easily be shared. The pizza is delicious, my husband and I think their pizza is some of the best pizza around. They have a large selection of salad options for lunch and portion sizes are great. I have never had a bad meal here. My husband and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month, usually for a late breakfast or early lunch on Sunday and have always had a great experience.“

I brought a group of 8 in for a birthday dinner, and the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate a short-notice reservation for us. Unfortunately I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was phenomenal as well. Food was fantastic, our waters were always filled, and finished dishes didn’t sit around long. “This upscale bar and restaurant has amazing drinks, delicious appetizers, outstanding entrées with sides and desserts to match; and a phenomenal staff/atmosphere. We were greeted by Simmi, a very gracious and warm hostess. Simmi made us feel right at home and we seated right away as we did have a reservation. We ordered a salad which was delicious with homemade dressing and crunchy croutons, the fillet which had a scrumptious tomato jelly topping and the meat was tender, juicy and scrumptious. The mac & cheese was mouthwatering, yummy and to die for. We were so stuffed that we skipped dessert but I have been there before and they are incredible. Our waiter was outstanding and very attentive. My favorite steak restaurant USED to be Texas Roadhouse however, it was and still is a hit or miss as the Dallas fillet would be raw and still mooing or dry and tough. The price at restaurant House of Bourbon match the amazing taste flavor and and is worth every bit of the upscale price. If I’m going eat a steak, I want it to be perfect flavorful juicy and tender and that is what I received at the 1933 House of Bourbon. “They had food setup at One Metropolitan downtown, the food was decent but I didn’t taste anything that makes me want to return. I do wish them success because they were very nice. Here’s my feedback: 1st The sauce on the ribs was tasty but the ribs themselves were a bit chewier than I like and I didn’t taste any smoked flavor, really didn’t give a grill taste but the sauce did save them a little. 2nd the mac and cheese had a good taste but it doesn’t give baked mac & cheese more of stove top. Overall not a bad experience but the price point has them way over priced for what you get, ribs and mac & cheese cost me $21.94 when you can get 2 meats and 2 sides at Salt & Smoke for that price.“

“Normally I LOVE this place ... not tonight. 45 mins in the drive through to get a cold burger handed to me , minus my concrete. She said she would go back and get it. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . I got my money back and left ... normally the food is hot and fresh, it takes a bit , but I have never seen such a mess as tonight !“

“Voodoo rice was excellent. 15.99 very large portion. BTW They no longer sell voodoo fries, (even though it's on the online menu) they were the reason my friend's daughter wanted to go there. She made due with the Voodoo rice and appetizer plate($20) and something else, that I cannot seem to remember. 🤷🏽‍♀️ The food was good to eat and great for sharing.
They didn't have plates, so we had to eat out of styrofoam containers and use plasticware. Not exactly what I was expecting when the appetizer plate is twenty dollars and the rice was 16... But the food was flavorful. I probably will not be back unless it's to make an online to go order.

“It was a great time. I ordered French toast and bacon. Bacon great and thick! The French toast tasted ok. It was a little savory like it was seasoned which I wasn't a fan of. The bottomless mimosas was wonderful. I loved the music and the atmosphere. Only complaint was the floor was a little sticky and the wait on some of our party food. Other than that the brunch was lit and fun!“

“I ordered online and got errors stating problems with website on 12/16. I stopped by as it appeared that everything went through including the charge. I stopped by the store and the manager saw what I was seeing and worked with me to get my order processed (which was not easily resolved). He was very patient and helped get my order processed. Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff.“

Lvg back to Orlando mid day, wanted something unique to St. Louis and the great reviews on this place did not disappoint!

Sat at the bar and immediately saw plates of food that was like out of a commercial! I cld see the kitchen team laying the smack down with a system that is on point every step of the way!

I asked for a special order of a biscuit, chicken fried chicken, two eggs over medium and gravy with a side of grits. Wifey did the corn beef hash. I can’t stand when food comes flying out and this was well worth the reasonable wait! The prices are also super fair! I took pics of a couple other plates cmg out of the kitchen!

Get after this place…also helped to get here early, it’s popular for a reason peeps!
