a couple cakes for some family birthday parties, and one very special unicorn cake for my toddler’s birthday. I walked in, described what I was looking for, and every cake I ordered turned out so much better than I could have imagined! The cakes were all absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS! Kids and adults alike kept raving about them - and the process couldn’t have been easier. This baker is a gem to work with and he makes some very good baked goods. Wouldn’t think twice about going back, and recommended it to everyone at the party. I'm finally rating crumble 4 stars because crumble has come out with mini versions of their cookies weekly too. The app is amazing as well because you can accru points for freebies. Sometimes, the cookies can be to raw for my taste at this location or there not enough sauces or toppings, but it just depends on the flavor and batch.“

“I have had cupcakes and other treats before, but this was my first time ordering some - a custom-made pumpkin pie without clove. My mom always made it without and I never could bring myself to like it with. Well, I took one bite and it tasted so much like my mom's pumpkin pie that I almost cried. She passed away last year and had actually not cooked for a couple years beforehand. This really hit me very unexpectedly! Thank you so much to Ashley and her wonderful team at Punky Cakes.“

“I wish I took pictures, but we ate everything so quickly… IT’S JUST SO GOOD! We had the Korean hotdogs, mochi donuts and boba coffee and milk tea. Every week they have different mochi donut flavors, try them all! For the Korean hotdogs, you choose your flavor, then if you want mozzarella/sausage, and a dipping sauce. Also, the actual location is cute and inviting with extra seating in the back. Highly recommend!“

“Ordered a Tres Leche Cake fora Mexican party. Sandy who helped me was terrific, very helpful. Carlos also. Sandy asked if I wanted anything written on cake I said fiesta. When I went to pick it up, the 1/4 sheet looked like it had been decorated by professionals. It was just so very beautifully decorated I could not believe it . So much much more than just the word fiesta. Taste people could not get enough, everyone just loved it. Not too sweet perfect & The price was way under what it should have been. “This is the best cake shop in 20 mile radius of Arlington Heights. I have tried 5 cake slices of different flavors until now and all were fantastic!! The cake is low on sugar and has real cream. The lady who works there is friendly and discusses flavors and textures with me. I am thinking of buying a whole cake for private and office parties. This place beats all the bakeries in town and trust me I have been in several countries and many states within the US. Don’t let the slightly isolated location deter you from visiting. Cheers.“
