“Can not say enough nice things about this dine in and carry our restaurant. Delicious entrees and sides. Well presented perfectly, fresh cooked hot more than ample servings. Outstanding especially friendly rapid service by ALL personnel providing service as a team willing to let you have it your way. I have begun to go 3-5 times a week it's that good.

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. We ordered the stinky tofu, tofu is very flavorful. The veggie pot is so delicious that I saw from someone else sitting there and I could not help but to ask the name of the dish.“

“I have been searching for a new go-to Chinese restaurant since I moved from Evergreen Park to Naperville in June 2023. My go to in EP was Wings in Alsip and I’ve had such a hard time finding a place that is just as good or better than Wings, until New Wok. I ordered online and sent my husband because I don’t drive. The first thing my husband said when he walked in the door was that they were so friendly and welcoming when he went to pick up the order. We crack everything open, get our plates together, and have at it. My son and husband usually have multiple conversations among us, but they loved their dishes so much, they were quiet the entire time they were eating. My daughter loved her crab Rangoon and her fried rice, and their vegetable egg rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had. I have definitely found my go-to Chinese place!“

“I really enjoy coming here for lunch or dinner. The music is never too loud where you can carry on a good conversation, always a very good amount of food and the price is extremely affordable. It is without a doubt one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of the state. I can't think of anyplace where you can get 2 full meals including soup, egg rolls, fried rice, 2 glasses of wine, and a dozen almond cookies for under $40“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. But I definitely recommend this food for all of you avid foodies and lechon lovers.“

The fried rice is pretty bland. Basically white rice with soy sauce in it I don't taste any ajimarin in it just silver swan. Still decent but could be a bit better.

I don't know why the stars are so low it's pretty standard fast food chinese honestly. If you want some 'chicago style' quickie Chinese this is the place.“

“After moving to the area and the decline of the quality of my usual Chinese place, we tried this place. The food was absolutely delicious, im a creature of habit so our food order is always the same so I can't speak to the many other things on the menu. But, the chicken fried rice, beef kow, sweet and sour chicken and chop suey are fantastic. Its been 8 years and its still the best place around for Chinese. Its take out and delivery only and honestly I think I prefer it that way, food is always fast, fresh and good“

“I love noodles. I have ordered every pan fried, steamed, chow fun, mei fun, lo mein from just about every Chinese place in the DG, westmont, Woodridge, Willowbrook, Darien area. The common denominator for most of the places is how they love dumping a ton of onions in the dish with some noodles, a little bit of meat and a scant amount of other veggies. I spend more time picking the creepy little (sometimes not so little) chunks of the filler out than actually eating my precious noodles. Darien Chop Suey gives me none of the little buggers! I always order the pad see eiw and not only are there piles of glorious noodles, but they never skimp on the meat or veggies! Beautiful broccoli and mushrooms and not an onion in sight! It's so yummy. The hubs loves the sesame chicken. The egg rolls are plump and the egg drop soup is divine. Plus, they are the most affordable place in the area! Dang when did Chinese food get so expensive? Very reasonable here though. Super nice on the phone and we've ordered like a dozen times and it's always ready in twenty minutes or so. This is my favorite Chinese place. Darien Chop Suey, more like Darien Chop Yummy fo rizz!!!!“
