“Just fantastic. My absolute favorite Chinese spot in the suburbs. Food comes out HOT and is prepared soon as you order. Wait time is usually ~15min for a regular sized order. I like sitting in their main area enjoying the sun streaming through the windows. Great family. Great food. Totally recommend.“

“After going the first time I knew I'd be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We've also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns - all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it's not for everyone. Both times I've gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!“

“This is the second time we've ordered from here, and the food tastes great.
We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. “This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

Only two dings is 1) why the $1.00 convenience fee 2) use less sodium in the egg foo young. Will definitely be back but get rid of the annoying convenience fee.“

Use to go to N-Joy, it closed permanently! Wok N Roll does fill their shoes & more! Their Wings are even better! Egg Foo Young too! Their veggies are so fresh, exceptionally nice, Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon also very good.. They're clean, very helpful / friendly, fast service...
They got coupons for free food, cash or credit, there's some seating for a small space so it's mostly take out, which is convenient... Definitely Express & a delightful surprise... Xie xie

The closest Chinese restaurant was Jade Garden so I placed an order for chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, veggie lo mein, & 2 egg rolls. The order came with a side of white rice too. It was sooo much food; I had 2 plates worth to get my fill while my wife had 1. The next 2 days I ate leftovers for breakfast; I also passed along some food for my mom to try when I went to visit her. There was still enough remaining after all that for my wife to have a hearty lunch! Including tax it was $39ish which I felt was reasonable considering the sheer amount of food we received. Would very happily order from here again!“

“Got take out, hot and sour soup was not like other hot and sour soups I've gotten - this one had a thicker and whiter broth than I've seen before, and pieces of chicken in it; no veggies or tofu, just mushrooms and chicken. But it tasted good and not oily or clumpy. Chicken lo mein was also good - the small portion is actually quite large, with large pieces of chicken that didn't seem overly processed. Everything was hot and fresh when I picked up, and not overly greasy (I believe the menu says no MSG also). The prices were rather high compared to other strip mall Chinese food, but portions are large. The dining area wasn't the cleanest, probably wouldn't eat in, but the kitchen seemed clean to me and no hair or anything in the food. I would go back to try some other dishes.“

“The owner, I believe his name is Michael, is young but VERY sharp and most importantly, he is respectful and kind. This is important in any service industry and many people much older than Michael lack being respectful and could learn a thing or two from this young man. The food is excellent. Egg Rolls were very fresh and tasty. Crab Rangoon were also fresh and very good as well. I ordered Mongolian Beef, and it was plentiful and tender. The white rice was not clumpy, well cooked, and delicious. My wife ordered shrimp fried rice and it was also delicious. Again, everything was excellent. The place is very unassuming, somewhat small, but the service was impeccable and so was the food. I hope and pray that the owner never loses his charm. Today's young generation in this country are frankly not respectful and many lack intelligence. The owner of Overseas Chinese Restaurant is way beyond his years, and he makes the restaurant worth visiting on top of having very good food.

We had the combination rice Thai style, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and also the General Tso Chicken , followed by some of the signature rolls. OMG DELICIOUS. “I've been coming to this place consistently for years and their dishes don't disappoint. It's what you expect from your local Chinese cuisine and I love it. They know how to make extra spicy, ACTUALLY spicy which is refreshing! I've also graduated to trying the Yu Xiang dishes and they are fantastic! I love their sauces and am never afraid to try something new due to their consistency. I'm not a fan of the egg rolls (too peanutty for me), but all the appetizers are great too.

I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“

“Have been here in a while. Glad I swung on in. The Kung Pao Chicken here is interesting. They use Jalapeño peppers instead of the traditional red chili peppers. A combination of the heat and taste of the peppers gave the dish a unique zing. I will definitely be back to get another order!“
