“I had the Chefs garden salad and apple jalapeño slaw today for lunch both was delicious. First time going here and it wont be the last. Food was excellent, prices was good, servings where big, nice guys that was there today. No seating inside, but they have a nice outdoor seating area thats fenced in.“

“Only 4 starts just because I need to try more, but just what I had tonight alone already makes this my top 10 places to try out whether you live here or visiting. I stopped in St Louis for the night on the way back to Texas from Ohio and wanted to check this place out after being out with my dog at the Arches. Pulled up here, I would say for an out of towner parking is a little confusing, but could also most definitely just be me because I thinks I missed a turn. Anyways, there system was down so only had to do cash, wasn't a big deal, is what it is at times. Came back with some cash and got seated outside. As soon as I sat down everyone was super welcoming to me and especially my dog. One server made her a pup cup and was so amazing to see her go that distance. They gave her a water bowl, constant fills, and even helped me out with getting her a dog friendly burger to eat and constant treats. Honestly, super amazing how she was treated by staff, as well as some mini conversations at times. Just stopping by in town on my own for a night, I guess I really did need some social interaction and that helped. My drink was great, I had the Breezy Blooze, just amazing and way better than I expected with some alcoholic kick. For starters I had the alligator tacos, and would say the only shirt coming on that was just that the gator bites themselves were a little cold or at least room temp, but regardless, it still tasted amazing and couldn't stop eating it. I also ordered the Garlic Cream Linguine without the veggies. I didn't want celery and taking that out takes out the rest of the veggies, but honestly it's perfectly ok to me. I added shrimp as well as crawfish for an extra $10, and let me just tell you... I could drink the sauce just by itself. Super incredible, the shrimp was a little small but was still delicious. I rarely have crawfish, not sure why, but it's rare. That also tasted amazing. I honestly wasn't trying to stuff myself with everything but I just couldn't help myself. The outside seating and decor and very welcoming and relaxing with rgb lighting throughout. The stage itself looks pretty cool as well. Whoever was playing tonight on the 23rd sounded amazing as well. Definitely wanting to eat here again whenever the next time I am back here. The inside is very vintage, white tablecloth, but the vibes are very cozy and casual. We were served by the ever so lovely Sierra. AND SHE DESERVES HER FLOWERS AND A RAISE. She suggested this amazing wine called the menage a trois, and so kind and personable. “After visiting the Fox Theater on Saturday we had reservations for 6. Our table was ready and our server Wendy was absolutely delightful. Our drinks, appetizers, dinner(fresh pasta) and desserts did not disappoint. The manager stopped by twice to check on us. Incredible! “I don't typically write food reviews and if I do it's either you're horrible or you're amazing. I stop by today because I was craving buffalo fish. My mom used to make it all the time and she passed away last year in May. Their debit machine was down and I only had $10 in cash and I told them I'll be right back. Thank goodness my brother stays around the corner and I was able to come back. The customer service was amazing and the fish was delicious. I was able to stop at my grandmother's house who is almost 90 years old and share some with her. Needless to say she love the fish too and I'll be back next weekend to buy her a plate! ♥“

“Let me just preface this by saying I moved here from South Texas and have spent more than my fair share of time in Old Mexico. In years of searching for REAL Mexican food in St Louis, I’ve had many disappointments. This place was absolutely fantastic and pure pleasure for an old Texan. It even made me shhh my wife because I wasn’t willing to remove my focus from the delicacy I was partaking in. Can’t recommend this place enough and haven’t been able to stop telling others about it. I’ll be a permanent fixture there for sure.“

Not only was every piece we received so delicious from the bread to the actual dishes, but the service was 10/10 and we had so much support from the staff to make our experience memorable. The workers would even apologize when reaching over you to fill your water, like hello I should be the one apologizing for being in the way! Every single bite was heavenly and the portions are big so I was able to enjoy leftovers later too. It’s definitely on the pricier side because it’s a fancy restaurant but nothing that I believe isn’t worth it. I will 100% come back when I can! It’s also connected to a hotel so if you are ever visiting Saint Louis and want to experience the Italian relevance of the Hill, this is totally a great option.“

“Recently ate there, really by accident, we had tickets for an early performance at the Fox theater, but had no reservations. Had waited at another restaurant which was clear we would not have time to eat, and catch the performance. So we went across the street to try Gary’s. The 5 of us got right in, our waiter was fantastic, he was so talented, and great with my granddaughters. Ate a wonderful meal, everyone liked their selection. We did not have time for dessert so the waiter brought us each of us over a piece of chocolate cake with our meals.😊 we will be going back to Gary’s, because of the service and food. “The food here is absolutely incredible. The green chile pork is amazing. Meat it's fall apart tender and the flavor is full and robust. We also had the steak milenesa. It had a great crust and fork tender with great flavor. NOTHING was bad. Service matches the flavor. Food came fast, and the waitress made our dinner a great experience.

Some people come from 20+ minutes away and don’t feel like ordering a waiting. Do better with customer service. The attitude is horrible.
