THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT! Reservations are difficult to secure for 3 but the woman (I believe her name was Grace but don't quote me on that. Please correct me so I can provide her name) who is in charge of reservations explained the process and how to achieve a reservation for 3.
We were sat as soon as our reservation time started! Never happens that fast. 8:30 we were in our seats.
Okay last night was incredible. Our server was genuinely kind. Priscilla was very patient, informative and the most pleasing personality trait was her non invasive style of service. Top notch girly! I loved every moment of service. AND I LOVED how our courses were timed and cleared at the same time. The staff came together like a ballroom dance and cleared our plates and most importantly they reset and prepared us for the next course. You'll be stuffed by the end BUT GET THE SUNDAE!!!! Childhood nostalgia and sooo yummy. I can't explain enough about what a joy this experience was. Service IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. You get what you pay for. I love the intentional small, private, true dining experience. This is just not a turn and burn restaurant. It's an experience. Ugh I can't wait to go back. “After visiting the Fox Theater on Saturday we had reservations for 6. Our table was ready and our server Wendy was absolutely delightful. Our drinks, appetizers, dinner(fresh pasta) and desserts did not disappoint. The manager stopped by twice to check on us. Incredible! We wanted to bring Wendy home with us but we had to have her back by Wednesday! We can’t wait to return!!!! 10🌟“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“First off, Sabrina our server was absolutely amazing, delightful and she was upbeat and did a great job. She even had a cocktail made for my father. I had two smoked old fashioneds, we enjoyed the bang bang shrimp, Imperial dip, our main courses and even desserts Dad had the Bourbon brownie and I enjoyed my Drunken coconut pie. Sabrina was super sweet, energetic and she went over the top, not just for us but for multiple tables. She is an absolute blessing to have as our waitress. Sabrina God bless you for the best service and truly loved you! Thank you for a great experience“

“This is a mixed review. First the positives. The waiter Rob was superb. Pleasant personality and attentive but not intrusive. The busboy (I didn’t get his name) was also very professional, nice and efficient. There were six of us in the party and four in the party were happy with their meal.

Now for the shortcomings. I had the tenderloin medallions Oscar. I have honestly never had a tougher cut of meat. It was definitely overcooked. In fact, I asked my wife to try a small piece and she was shocked at how hard it was to chew with it being a tenderloin. The side dish of lyonnaise potatoes were dry and had no seasoning.

My wife had the Queen Cut Prime rib and it, likewise, was not tender in the least. I had a small cut and felt the same way. She did like the side dish of twice baked potatoes, and she really liked the key lime pie.

So, in summary, four of the six were happy. Just two of us weren’t. For the price of the tenderloin medallions and the prime rib entrees, I think the expectation of “tender” is a given with these two entrees. Sadly, the reality did not meet our expectation.

Not a disastrous night by any means, but not a superb one either.

“I had the BEST breakfast sandwich burger at Wakey Wakey last week while I was staying at the attached hotel for a women's conference. It was huge & I had to cut it in half & save the rest. Our server Sam was the one who made the suggestion to try it & he was right in his suggestion! He even told me how to reheat it so that it would come out even better than the first time it was served. Our drinks were never less than half full & he was very attentive. You can really tell he takes pride in his work! I also want to note that the breakfast potatoes are AMAZING & I will definitely be going back to get them again! “Most come to the Hill for Italian at the usual places, Zia's, Dominic's and Charlie Gitto's. Most will pass this gem up due to it being in the Drury Plaza hotel, you SHOULDN'T DO THAT. The food is made fresh to order and it clearly shows! The decor is very upscale and perfect for a business lunch or dinner and at $30 per person, a good deal. If you add wine the price will go up but would still be worthwhile due to the quality in evidence.“

“We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.
The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are.“

“This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“
