“Food was very good and server very friendly!“

“I ordered via Doordash for pickup - Enchiladas Suizas and a large horchata. It was ready within about 10 minutes, which was faster than anticipated. When I went inside, there wasn't anyone dining in, and all the tables/ chairs were very clean and presentable. The staff were very friendly, attentive when I walked in, and handed me my order quickly. The horchata was definitely a large size and tasted very good. When I went to open the food bag, the red sauce on the enchiladas had leaked out of the container and was all over the bag (fortunately nothing spilled out of the bag) - there was a bit too much red sauce inside, which made the enchiladas quite messy. I also was supposed to get four enchiladas but there were only three (was missing the cheese one). It came with rice and beans which were simple but good. The enchiladas I had were good overall - flavorful and filling. It came with a cup on the side filled with fresh guacamole, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes - all very good and I loved that they kept that separate. Once I added that on top, it made the enchiladas even better. We live nearby so will definitely try it again. The place looked clean, the staff seemed great, and the rest of the menu looks like it had some good things to try in the future.“

“The food and drinks were good, the service was attentive and friendly but let the buyer beware! The waitstaff asked: "Celebrating a birthday?" Let us get you some shots! This happened twice however, all the shots ended up on our bill and it was $56 for four shots! Twice!“

It can be pricey to some, but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out. If this venue was in the #Pilsen area, you would def need a month or two reservations. The chef is #Michelin rated – say no more. Highly recommended. It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. The birria was fantastic! Levels and levels of flavor. Will definitely be back for the Menudo this weekend. See you all here!“

“Small mom and pop taco spot with great food. Place is cash only i repeat cash only so dont forget your money. We had the Ribeye tacos very delicious and tender meat was well done, they also put grilled onions and peppers which adds more flavor to the 🌮. Be aware the peppers 🌶 are a bit spicy so eating them with their salsa might be too much spice for some people. I would do either or but you feeling adventurous try it with both. Pastor tacos were very flavorful comes with onion and cilantro. Asada tacos were rich in flavor well seasoned and not dry. These are hardy tacos 🌮 average person will get full with 2-3 tacos. Tortillas are oiled nicely and cooked well they hold their shape while eating after lime and salsa have been added doesn't get soggy or break apart. Over all great spot 9/10 👌 will eat here again. It is a small place so if it gets busy seating might be an issue they have 3 tables outside and a bit of counter seating inside.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. I will definitely pay it forward“

“This is a taqueria within a small Mexican grocery store. The food is fabulous, the carne asada tacos are delicious but the barbacoa is also excellent, not to mention probably the best carnitas I've ever had outside of Chicago. The barbacoa and carnitas are also available by the pound which is an awesome option. The ambience is very basic, two tables and a few chairs, not pretty but the food is phenomenal and prices are very reasonable.“

“Honestly this is one of the most charming restaurants I've ever been in. The service was fast and the front is run by a very sweet woman who made sure we had everything we could need. Definitely worth the price, my chicken tacos were hot and fresh and dripping they were so juicy. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. It's also super colorful and welcoming inside. “Why have I driven past this place for years and never had been. In this last week I've been twice. These people are great. Not only are they very hospitable, but the food is really good. It's a restaurant, but it has that bar vibe as it gets a little later in the evening. We had a running group event here last night and it was so much fun. We plan to go more often and coordinate some of our holiday events with them. So far, I tried the chicken tacos and had a seafood soup (Caldo Mendigo) and they were both excellent.“

“Small hole in the wall, family run type of place, in the best way!
Be prepared to wait outside, as there are only 7 tables and depending on weather it can get warm inside but the food is worth it!
They serve the BEST chilaquiles we've ever had!
We got sopecitos, chilaquiles with verde sauce and steak, the flavor combo and textures were perfect, the tortilla chips were still crunchy but covered in sauce and cheese, so good!
The cafe de olla is a must have! It's delicious and sweet but not overly so.
For the sensory sensitive weirdos, the long line outside and smaller interior was intimidating at first, but we only had to wait about 30 mins and once seated the service was fast and food was amazing, you forget about being so close to others.
Atmosphere 4 stars, only because the length and material of the table cloths were uncomfortable and trapped the heat under the table but the food and service are 10/10!“

“Don’t skip on this place! This restaurant is very very good and underrated. Service and food is amazing. Lady that was serving us explained it was her and her family’s business and they are extremely kind and accommodating. It is easily one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend. Enchiladas estilo Jalisco and flautas are my favorite. We can’t get enough! We hope they stick around for many many years to come.“
