It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. “My wife and I have been eating lunch here once a week for a few months now. It looks like a mom & pop tamale place, which it kind of is, but Danny and Johanna have fine dining experience, which shows up in the quality and presentation of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We've tried most of the menu, but we almost always get whatever the special tamale and special quesadilla are. We always feel welcome. We always feel well-fed. We always leave happy, no matter what mood we were in when we walked in the door. It's one of the best places we eat, regardless of the price point.“

“Good local food spot for tacos, burritos, quesadillas etc. I went an hour after opening so they didn't have steak or birria available.

Quesadilla was hot fresh and tasted great good cheese to chicken ratio. Salsa was watery so I feel like it didn't pair well with the quesadilla, more like a hot sauce.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. Lady that was serving us explained it was her and her family’s business and they are extremely kind and accommodating. It is easily one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend. “This place was so amazing. We are staying at an AirBnB right across the street and thought, let’s try it! Right when you walk in you can tell, “this is gonna be good”! Ordered the birria tacos, they didn’t last for long to get a pic. The chips and salsa are awesome, salsa has a great spice level, a little much for the wife. The salsa verde is way more spicy and is still flavorful!! The queso fundido con chorizo was super tasty as well. There was a lot of chorizo, and the cheese is definitely Oaxaca or something similar.
