“Nice place with gorgeous views of the golf course/outside and spacious seating areas. Good food for decent prices, got the greasy but delicious Eagle Burger (with egg, bacon, and cheese) and steak fries. My companions also ordered the Southern Burger, quesadilla, and a BBQ sandwich and raved-about onion rings. Good place for a group to sit together and not have too long a wait (fast service).“

“Ordered turkey white bean chili, bbq sand on brioche (both daily specials), rosemary jalapeño fries, breakfast burrito to share. I sampled all and absolutely delish! Each item tasted extraordinary. I love this place because everything I order is made with carefully crafted flavors and texture—down to the salsa served on the side of burrito. It was homemade and fresh—not jarred. Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.“

“Great small town atmosphere, friendly staff, you could tell there are a lot of “regulars” here. We got the fried pickles to start, lots of breading but good. We order the Korean pork sandwich and buffalo chicken wrap. I thought the pork was a pulled pork sandwich, but it was more like a McRib patty - still delicious! “Spectacular eatery! It was everything I hoped for and more! Have followed this place on Facebook for a while now and finally got the chance to try it! Right off the bat we had to park in the back, and there were like 10 people ahead of us in line so I KNEW it was going to be great! It's a tiny little place, maybe 10 tables at the most, and the decor is a little dated which is just what I want in a hometown mom and pop shop. It being so small also guarantees that you're surrounded by amazing smells that are sure to make your mouth water! It also means that the food and service is so good they haven't had to try to spruce up the place to attract business!After maybe a 10 minute wait to order it was finally our turn. I believe it was Lilly taking our order, and the only other employee I saw was, I assume, her husband preparing all the food. Some people would find something wrong with this; the owners doing all the work. But personally I feel it guarantees authentic hospitality and a high quality meal every time! Another 10 or so minute wait and it was our turn to get our order. I opened the bag and gently spread out our meal on the table. The cabbage roll was reminiscent of my German grandmother's, although slightly sweeter. The spinach pie wasn't as big as I would have hoped, but the amazing flavor made up for it! The fried mushrooms were nothing short of amazing. And, above all, the gyro had SUCH an amazing flavor and consistency! None of that thinly sliced pre-packaged crap I've gotten at other places. Thick, juicy hunks of meat topped with fresh veg and smothered in "Lilly's Sauce", all wrapped in a soft, warm pita. Folks, it just doesn't get much better than this.I had every intention of ordering a falafel and baklava, but we barely finished what we had ordered, so it simply means I HAVE to go back as soon as I'm in the area! Overall this place gets a 9.5/10, with the only thing lacking as far as I'm concerned being that you must walk around the outside to reach the bathrooms. No big deal, and definitely doesn't effect the food one bit!Folks, this is one place you don't wanna miss..!“

“Last night was my first time @ The Corner Grill and Chill. I had a Double Cheese Burger and a side of Onion Rings. I absolutely loved it!!! It was fantastic. and I have eaten alot of take out /Bar food etc. Believe me this was again FANTASTIC! The service was Spot On, Fast, Friendly and Accurate. I strongly recommend it. “During a recent stay at a hotel behind this location, we ate there three times while in town for the total eclipse. The hotel's offering was lackluster so it didn't take much convincing to give First Watch a try. For our first visit, the place was packed. There was about a 20 minute wait. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service and awesome food. We liked it so much,we came back again and again. Our party of four ordered breakfast each visit and all three times, the food came out hot, fresh tasting and in ample portions. Thank you First Watch for providing stellar dining experiences.“

“Went to the Tap Haus for the first time yesterday with my wife. They have really cleaned this place up from previous iterations of this restaurant/bar I had visited.I had the Bacon burger with pub cheese and jalapeños. I forgot the name of it. But it was excellent. The 1/2 pound burger was perfect temperature and very juicy. The Fries were cooked crunchy without being burnt. the way I like them.The burger paired wonderfully with a leinenkugel shandy draft. I really enjoy these on hot summer days and oddly with burgers.We enjoyed the pretzel sticks as well. The cheese made this app. It was delicious. I had to fight my wife for these.The onion rings were ok. They would be better served cut in half width wise and have more pieces. As they were the rings were too big to fit in the cup. They tasted great, they were awkward to eat.I would remiss to not mention the pleasing service of Stacy as the mixologist. She was attentive without being overbearing. Additionally we were out the door, well fed in time for our movie!I want to try out the bingo nights and the trivia nights at a future visit. All together this is a great addition to Belleville!!“

“This eatery was referred to me by a friend. I was really hungry so we went there to get something good to eat. I tried the gyro combination plate. It was ok, there was nothing special about it. The sauce on the gyro didn't have any taste. The fries were pretty good. I was told by the attendant that this was one of their best items on the menu. I've had several gyros before and this one was not in the top 3.“

“We were two couples who had a late lunch at Syberg's. We are all ex-military so we did more catching up then eating. At 2 PM the restaurant was nearly empty, which surprised us. Our server, Tony, was great! He remained available even though we were focused on talking. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is heavily breaded but the fish was cooked well. The fries are like slices rather then the typical long, thin pieces. They were nice and crispy. Our one friend ordered a salad --huge with lots (and lots) of lettuce. He was underwhelmed. His wife ordered a daily special. I didn't hear any review either way. Would we go again? Probably not. There was nothing inherently wrong with Syberg's other than their online menu was woefully out of date. There are just too many other exciting places to go in the Fairview Heights/O'Fallon area.“

“This little gem is by far the best breakfast you can get in Southern Illinois. It's the only place my 5 and 2 year old will eat consistently and I don't order kids stuff. They are eating 5 or 6 veggies in their meals from here and that is just beautiful. After years of being loyal to places like The Egg and I and First Watch, this little place does what they do, except better tasting, actual seasonings on the food and dang near half the price. From price, to friendliness, to taste, this is my go to Breakfast place. “If you want to watch the game this is a great place to be. Service is always friendly. Food is pretty good bar food. Wish there were a few more high tables. We often go with a large group and that can be difficult if you're not there early enough for tables. But that says good things as its a busy place.I will say it seems several families think it is an indoor recess setting letting their kids run wild. I've never been to any other restaurant where parents think it's ok to let kids run between tables, up and down stairs, toss food around etc. While the staff has tried to control this (and there is an under 21 curfew) some parents think they can let their kids do whatever they want. It's a shame because this is clearly a sports bar restaurant. I've taken my little one there several times and managed not letting him run around like it's a playground.“

“They have really good burgers. They also have Hunt Brothers pizza at a good price and don't charge you for extra toppings. They also have slots and pool. There are darts there, too, but they are in the corner in a tight spot. But you could surely move a table and play anyway. They also have Extreme Bar Bingo, which is free. There is a back porch that has a roof and seating for smokers, which is very comfortable. They generally play good music here. There's not a lot of indoor seating, though, and the bathroom is very tiny. But if your bartender is in a good mood, you will have a great time.“

“I have been going to Gary's since I was in 7th/8th grade (after sockhops). I was addicted to their ice the whole time I was pregnant with my son 20 yrs ago, plus I went into labor there. Gary and his wife are family friends and everyone that works there works their tails off to keep the good home cooked meals. I just wish there was a way I could get my semi truck and trailer in there when I am on a 10 hr. I will always have fond memories of not just hanging with friends after school dances but also you all are great people.
