“Love the menu and the food at this place. This is the second time we've been here and I LOVE their stuffed squid. The service was a bit slow this time but we weren't in a rush. One major drawback is that there's NO changing table in either bathroom, and there is no countertop so changing a baby is impossible.

I walked into Panera today after not eating Panera since my bro ate a piece of plastic here in 09, I can say I’m definitely coming back. I absolutely slobbered down this chargered lemonade. I also gobbled down some delicious creamy soup. Let me say if you need some energy after being on your knees all day get the charged lemonade! Everyone here is nice this is a great place! “We've been going to Il Girasole Trattoria since the first month it opened. the team started strong and has improved with every visit, it's now our favorite Italian restaurant in the city. the chicken Milanese, anything with their bologonase sauce, arancini, tiramisu and homemade sorbet. end the meal with a limoncello or an espresso martini. the staff is friendly, the dining is delicious.“

“First and foremost, the staff is hands down the best! Literally the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing has been a let down. Usually I regret straying from “the usual” but I never do here. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!“

Came to enjoy diner here with a close friend, although I will say the food was good overall the prices were out of line for what food was being served at this restaurant. They need to be a bit more conscientious about what they are charging for some of the dishes there, although I love pasta I did not enjoy spending as much on the food there as I did when knowing I could’ve easily had a better meal from a restaurant I would’ve preferred for steak, but this is the restaurant my friend wanted to go to in particular for the breadsticks and soup, fortunately that is what made the visit worth going. The unlimited soup and breadsticks helped balance out the value of the meal.“

“I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant yet but we order take out almost weekly. We recently moved to the suburbs from Chicago and have been disappointed with the Thai places we’ve tried. We’ve finally found our go to place to order from! Food is always delivered still warm and fresh. You can choose your spice level and even the medium be quite spicy so order accordingly. We love this place and hope it stays around!“

“We live across the street and have dined in about once a month for 13 years. This is a literal mom and pop spot that has 3-4 people working tops at any time. The “waiter” is the husband owner and his wife owner does the cooking. He gets a bit overwhelmed at times, but is super generous. His wife is so nice and they both love babies/kids. Our children are 9 and 10 now, but when they were young they would carry them around the restaurant. They still give them a special snack at the end of the meal. We love all the soups, japchae, and bibimbap (we’re pescatarians). The complimentary pancake is delicious as are all the side dishes. Side dishes are much better than when I get them at Joong Boo and that’s not meant to be a jab at Joong Boo either. The prices are insanely cheap. This is home cooking by real people.“

“This place is great! I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve gotten here, and the lady who works here is SO NICE! My partner is gluten free and she is helpful with this and offers gluten free soy sauce which is nice and rare to find. Also.. BOGO later in the day is wonderful and for the other low star reviews about their BOGO sushi not seeming super fresh… like that’s the point? It’s BOGO so they don’t have to just throw it all away at the end of the night, so if you need it fresh just made then obviously don’t get the BOGO items lol.

“Thank goodness this place exists. This is your classic Chinese-American take out joint and the food is simply delicious. We ordered two dinner specials and a crab rangoon app - generous portions, hot, fresh, and tasty. Specifically, there is an element of “wok hay” (a Cantonese phrase denoting smoky aroma and flavor) present in the cooking that makes it 5 stars for me.

Don’t expect any level of “service”; that’s not the point here. This is a mom and pop shop operated by weary food industry veterans. Just pick up your plate, quit yapping, and enjoy what you ordered because you won’t regret it.

Friend chiming in: Regarding the service, the woman is lovely. You get everything you need and neither more or less, perfect in my opinion.

Parking: Small parking lot but easy to navigate“

“My Mom and I were looking for a new (new to us) Chinese-American restaurant. Palace Cantonese surpassed all expectations. Every plate we had was delicious and food was hot. The service by Calvin was outstanding.

We entered the restaurant and were the only ones during this late lunch time. We sat in the comfortable and cozy booth (firm for what my back needs). Right away, Calvin brought delicious hot tea and water. The Fried Won Ton, which is hard to find without meat, was perfectly fried, not soggy. The cup of egg drop soup was a generous portion, more like a medium bowl. The veggie egg rolls were large and tasty. The Chicken Szechuan, was like a kung pao chicken and very flavorful. I loved the touch from Calvin bringing extra peanuts without us asking. He also asked if we needed more tea even though our steel carafe was half full. At similar restaurants, I’ve not seen that service.
The final touch was receiving 2 almond cookies (plus fortune cookies), which my Mom and I love.
It’s my new favorite restaurant which I will be patronizing every time I’m in Chicago.

“Nothing to take you girlfriend to on a date, it's super stark abs drab in atmosphere, but where it lacks in looks, it delivers in some delicious ass shawarma, ages you get a ton of food for the money. The last who works at night, she's a doll, crazy nice and so helpful and kind as well. You never leave here feeling like you've missed out on something, they do what they do well.“

We only asked for chopsticks and napkins no (to avoid plastic forks, etc), and they were included accordingly. I have ordered several times from the main Panara and on a few occasions they have left ingredients out. Just double check your order & make sure it's right.

“This location is very clean I been getting my coffee every day from there but today the manager she was very rude and none professional (Archean) ones you learn how to respect people and treat them with kindness than you can have a manager position.“

“I have been coming here for about almost 15 years now . It's very very delicious never been anywhere better every family member that I have showed this spot to now comes here as well ... I order take out and usually off the catering meñu since I have a huge family. Their crab Rangoons are good and Mongolian spicy chicken too it comes with a side of free white rice. I usually order my food extra spicy but if you don't want spicy they can give you some hot oil that is also very great. Cannot complain about this spot at all... It never never has disappointed me. One thing is there closed Mondays=( but either than that the best Chinese food ever . Been to Chinatown and it too beats them ?I love their smoothies too so delicious

Vegetarian options: There's all kinds of options that are only with vegetables. I love their spicy vegetable fried rice and vegetable lo mein!!!“

“This is a good Panera, the place and the restrooms are always clean. The iced coffee here is better than most Panera's, they keep the coffee fresh and the ice machine full.

Parking: Parking can be tight when they are busy!“

“Panera Bread became my favorite family dine-out, sub and salad joint, when we lived at Great Lakes Navy Housing and my husband worked in Deerfield, IL, back in 2005. My most memorable meal is the Greek Salad next to the Apple Cranberry Salad... Their Panini sandwiches are delicious too! All food is freshly made daily, and at the end of the day, they gave their daily baked goods to their last paying customers on that day. Not sure if they did that regularly or as a generous gesture since we were a young military family of 5. Either way, I recommend Panera Bread!“

“One of the best Panera locations and has a nice fireplace. Super cozy. Food is made to perfection, however you request. Staff is super nice. Michelle, I believe is the manager, she’s doing a fantastic job, and the orders are excellent. We come at least 3-4x a week.

“I ate dinner here on a weekday evening. It was a random find. The floral decorations throughout were so pretty! The setup throughout the restaurant was very warm and welcoming. The menu was diverse and reasonably priced. The food and service were also good. Give it a try :)“
