“I got 2 farmhouse beef burgers and 1 chicken burger that had spicy honey in it. I loved the food. There was some misunderstanding in the packing of order. “It was our first time coming here my fiancé and I live around the corner and always seen it today we stopped by and the food was so good ! I got the bbq burger my fiancé the Philly cheesesteak and shakes. Everything came out so good , the fries were nice and crispy the cheese sauce for the fries amazing ! The shakes also good. Service was great ! He addressed my fiancé by them which we loved because we never have that happen and it was just a beautiful moment that he knew the pronouns without us even saying anything. “I like to say “good food makes a soul happy”. When I'm having a tough day, nothing satisfies like good food. I ordered a double smashburger through Uber Eats, and it arrived warm with crispy fries. Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. I’ll definitely order from there again, as long as they keep the seasoning consistent bc too much salt can ruin a meal!“

“been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“

“Catered from Pita Express this past weekend for my daughter’s high school graduation party. What can I say but WOW!!!!! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. It was a last minute event and I can not thank the owner enough as he came to the rescue with top notch service and catering. He was so accommodating as he was able to cater our party of 100 people in a matter of days. He was super helpful in creating a menu that would please all ages. Presentation was so appealing and portions were so generous. More importantly- flavor and preparation was outstanding! Kabobs were so tender and juicy and Shawerma meat so well seasoned. My favorite were his sauces- the garlic, tahini, and especially the spicy hot sauce with a hint of chipotle and lime was such a nice addition to any meal. I wish he would have left business cards to hand out because everyone was soooooooo impressed and just wanted to know where the catering was from. I would use Pita Express again and again without hesitation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PITA EXPRESS FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT!“

The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. “Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“
