The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“

My favorite item is definitely the Quesabirria—it's perfectly cooked, cheesy, and full of rich, authentic flavor. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend ordering it. “Catered from Pita Express this past weekend for my daughter’s high school graduation party. What can I say but WOW!!!!! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. It was a last minute event and I can not thank the owner enough as he came to the rescue with top notch service and catering. He was so accommodating as he was able to cater our party of 100 people in a matter of days. He was super helpful in creating a menu that would please all ages. Presentation was so appealing and portions were so generous. More importantly- flavor and preparation was outstanding! Kabobs were so tender and juicy and Shawerma meat so well seasoned. My favorite were his sauces- the garlic, tahini, and especially the spicy hot sauce with a hint of chipotle and lime was such a nice addition to any meal. I wish he would have left business cards to hand out because everyone was soooooooo impressed and just wanted to know where the catering was from. I would use Pita Express again and again without hesitation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PITA EXPRESS FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT!“

“We recently saw Nonsense here. The show was great. The set was designed well. The seats were comfortable, but being short, it was a good thing no one sat in front of us, or it would have been difficult to see. This is a beautiful theatre, and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. My only complaint is that I do think tickets are overpriced. They're charging the same prices as downtown shows, and the theatre is not worth the price.“

Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. I’ll definitely order from there again, as long as they keep the seasoning consistent bc too much salt can ruin a meal!“

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Field House in Deerfield and it was honestly such a special experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere is beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfect for both an intimate family dinner or a bigger celebration. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, which made the night even more meaningful.

The food completely exceeded expectations. Everything we ordered was incredible—from the homemade cheese curds (a must!) to the nachos, and my personal favorite, the lobster gnocchi. The menu truly has something for everyone, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

What really stood out was how accommodating and kind everyone was while we celebrated. They made my mom feel so special, and that’s something we’ll always remember.
