“We waited fifteen minutes for a table, just for another group of the exact same size to show up and be immediately sat before us. We didn’t say anything cause it was busy, and we were waiting right outside (which we were told is okay), so they probably forgot we were there. Just something to keep in mind if you visit during a rush ;)
Other than that, the pho seriously lives up to its hype. It was worth the wait. Everyone at the table agreed, and I was with some folks who know good pho cause they live near Little Saigon in CA. The flavors were balanced, it was more savory than sweet which I enjoy.
I also had a lemon soda for the first time here and it was pretty good; very sweet and sour.“

“We came for the first time and really enjoyed it!
We had the beef pho, shrimp spring rolls, classic bahn mi sandwich, Vietnamese coffee, and their Nutella latte. Everything was really great! The pho had a very clean and flavorful broth, the shrimp spring rolls were very light and refreshing, and the classic bahn mi was really tasty.
It’s also awesome they serve really great coffee/drinks to enjoy with your meal. The viet coffee is served with some condensed milk and cream, but wasn’t overly sweet and was perfectly balanced.
The staff was very kind and hospitable and the environment is very chill and tranquil with a modern interior. Look forward to visiting again!“

“I had the best bún chay I’ve had in a long time. Vermicelli noodle dish which has been my go to dish for some time. It felt fresher and just a step above many I’ve had. Our server was also super sweet. More people should give this place a chance! Updated from previous review on 2026-09-22“

“Really like the cold cut #1 banh mi here! I'm an avid banh mi fan in Vietnam so I have been in search of a good banh mi in Chicago. I have heard that the banh mi is made in house so the crust is flaky and is the exact replicate of the banh mi I had in Vietnam. My only suggestion that maybe the pate can be a little bit more savory and that would be perfect ☺️“

“Had dinner here and ordered the pho tai, shrimp fried rice, and egg rolls to share. The pho broth was flavorful without being too salty, and the beef was sliced nice and thin. The egg rolls came out hot and crispy, which was a nice bonus. Our server was friendly and brought extra bean sprouts and lime when I asked. Cozy little spot with a relaxed feel.“

“Ordered on doordash and this may be some of the best pho I’ve ever had, like even moreso than my forever pho spot back in my northern Wisconsin college town. I had the Banh Mi Ga Nuong and the Pho Ga with Shrimp/Pork egg rolls and I can see myself ordering this sooooooo much the rest of this season. Absolutely delightful. 10/10. So good for the baby (me).“

“The 3 different Banh Mi’s I’ve had here were ok. Bread was the best part. Everything was fresh but protein lacked flavor. The crab rangoon’s were the best thing I’ve ordered from here. Crunchy with a lot of filling. Fried rice was just ok. Staff was upbeat and friendly. I’d give it a 7 out of 10.“

“I love this restaurant with my soul. Nhan and the family staff is always accommodating and pleasant. The food is always fire. Great for family and friends. Peaceful vibes right on Argyle and foster. I get the Ca phe Sua and Pho Ga or Bo in the mornings and fills me up all day. It's a hit and won't be disappointed. Tam the owner, Cindy his wife there son Johnathan are all great people and their business is great. You won't regret it!!“

“I searched far and wide for fresh soy milk (unsweetened and sweetened) and tofu & this shop has that + pandan soy milk, tofu pudding, lemongrass fried tofu, & more. If you’re in argyle definitely worth checking out. Apple Pay & card accepted, though it’s good to pay in cash if you can. Great prices (2.75 cash for some lemon grass fried tofu)“

“My favorite pho place I go here every week sometimes 2-3 times they know my order already and have great customer service. I live 30 minutes away but I make the trip because it’s honestly the best pho Ive had very flavorful I can tell they simmer it for hours just how I like it i wish they were on Uber Eats so I could order from home but it’s worth the trip🫶“

“Some of the best vegan banh mi in the city, you'd be hard pressed to find better. The lemongrass tofu is my favorite but the BBQ vegan is also to die for. The ingredients taste very fresh, bread is fresh, herbs are really nice, and they're made to order and you can really tell. Also pretty good prices in the year of 2026.
There are some dead animals on display near the counter, so keep that in mind if that bothers you.“

“Casual storefront on Touhy with some of the best Vietnamese food that can rival Argyle St.
Portions are generous.
The Pho here, at least for the Chicken and Duck, are more rustic/on the bone. Rich stocks and BIG flavor with plenty of protein. You are more than likely going to take the rest home, because this is a BIG portion.

“Always a pleasure visiting this restaurant. Great food, nice people.
This Vietnamese restaurant offers Japanese dishes too. We always enjoy their wide varieties of food; the servers are always friendly and food served just on time. The quality and the quantity of the food was always reasonable to the price.
I highly recommend trying their sweet potato tempura, egg roll and bbq pork spring rolls.
Their smoothies are delicious too and I believe they use real fruits.“

“I picked up an order, I got home and noticed there was an item missing, and when I called, the manager (owner?) spoke to me and offered to drive it to my home after they closed up shop. I tried to tip the man who delivered it but he refused. He was very kind and thanked me for my business. Arguably the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.“

“VERY good! We were two people coming in near closing. One of us got the Vegetable Pho and Loved it. Pho isn't one of my faves but after trying it, I understood. The flavor and mix of veggies and noodles were delish. I ordered Beef Lo Mein and loved it. The beef was a cut above expected, the noodles, veggies and flavor, spot on. Most folks get take-out but we ate there. It was 35 minutes before closing. After 10 minutes we were served. We stayed to eat while the food was hot, then left (the table clean) 5 minutes before they closed with our leftovers. The gentleman in front was nice. Our table by the window was an enjoyable spot. Thank you!“
