“Lovely place, makes a great sandwich, always made how I want it. Always loaded with ingredients. Super friendly, always asks me how my day's going. Will continue to get lunch here! Would recommend stopping here for a sandwich.

“Came here after a long day of walking at the nearby amusement park. Place was not very crowded and we were able to order immediately and sit down. I ordered a mod pizza with several custom toppings. “At 9:00 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2022, our group of thirty-plus 6th through 8th graders, and their parents, converged upon 5555 Grand Avenue in Gurnee, IL. Our normal after performance ice cream place had closed early that night, so we set our sets on the next closest, largest and family friendly restaurant…McDonalds. We were loud. 30 kids singing show tunes at 9:00 at night, immediately following a theater performance? We were SO loud and ridiculously unorganized. Your employees, every single one of them still left at the restaurant at that hour, were so kind, patient, understanding, friendly, polite and hard-working. The manager on staff at the time, Cesar Lopez, managed it all beautifully and even kindly suggested we call ahead next time so he can be certain he’ll have enough staff on hand to handle another after-theater surge. While our kids were all mostly well-behaved and polite, it was definitely loud, controlled chaos for a good hour. We’re so very thankful for the extremely respectful way our kids were treated that night. The employees at 5555 Grand Avenue made what could have been a very stressful event into a…non-issue. Which, when you’re trying to corral 30+ adolescents, is a very good thing. You’ve found customers for life.“

The burgers have really good flavor, a little bit of a longer wait because they are cooking them on the griddle when you order. Allow for a little extra time when you order. Of course the line is not as long as McDonald's so you're probably out much quicker. The food is always fresh and hot.

“Dairy Queen used to have very inexpensive, soft serve. It's still very good, but a little bit more expensive. The only ice cream they have is vanilla, chocolate, or twist (both). They also carry slushies, milkshakes, ice cream and candy, and Dilly Bars, one of my favorites, that come in chocolate, butterscotch, etc. The food they sell are hot dogs, chili dogs, and hamburgers, which I call junk food. The food is average.“

Not for the past few months! CHRISTIAN gave me one of the best drive through experiences in a while. I spent no more than 3 minutes from order to pickup! No hassle with sauces and he was very pleasant and professional. What a breath of fresh air considering this can't be said from many establishments in the area. “Order# 36 I love this location! Its located in my neighborhood so its super convenient. Especially with the app now you can order online pickup and go. The staff is great there. My younger brother usto work there. Unfortunately now they are understaffed i think i saw a total of 3 employees just now 😳 sandy and the crew are really holding it down. Even so i still got my order in a timely manner and they even offered to bring it up to my car but i didnt want to bring them out into the cold. I stopped in with my son, one thing you should be aware of, it's fairly pricey. but the personnel were fantastic. 28 bucks for a double cheeseburger, fries, a drink, and a milkshake, is a little steep. but that doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the food. I have eaten at several of these establishments, and they are dependent on the staff and how they prepare the food. this one in particular is one of the better ones.“

“This is the best Wendy's in Kenosha. 3 or 4 cars ahead of you? No problem, maybe 5 mins. Now if you go to the location on 39th and 75th, 3 or 4 cars has you waiting almost 30 minutes. Glad this place has competent management. I live a block from the 39th location and will never go back there, 52nd is worth the drive, I'll have my foot in my house sooner than the 1 block drive from 39th.“
