“Absolutely, hands down love this place. I drive up from Indy just to get some Gene's. The food is unbelievable and the service is always, always fast and friendly.

My favorite at any drive-in is a chili cheese dog with onion and mustard. These are definitely the best anywhere. Not overloaded to where you're going to stain your shirt on the first bite, but not so little you're disappointed with your weiner. Just perfect. I love a good, regular hot dog and they're top notch at Gene's. And you can get just the hot dog, no bun for your canine co-pilot.

The root beer isn't bad either; I'll always compare any root beer to the magnificent butterscotch glory that was Edward's (RIP), but Gene's is still really good. I wish they hand battered their onion rings, but that's hard to find anymore.

I know I'm in the minority, but Mug 'n Bun sucks. Remember when you couldn't tip your server if you paid with a card? Yeah. The food quality went down and prices went up. I crossed it off my list even though it's like a mile away. Then Edward's closed. I was lost and devastated.

I found Gene's when I had to have surgery in Anderson for whatever reason. We have hospitals in Indy, but whatever. It was fate that the Spanish dog found me when I so desperately needed a drive-in to call home again. I actually just got back from opening day...more than worth the drive, every time.“

“Love Culver's but kind of grossed out. Studies show that gloves cause more cross contamination than hand washing. Curious on how often gloves are changed and hands are washed. Like seriously that is AF“

“Love this DQ. Food was warm and tasted great. Blizzard was awesome. Service was pretty good, friendly and Kimberly was very nice. Place looks a little rough and could use some fixing up. All in all very good. Prices are high, but that's corporates fault. Lower the prices.“

“Amazing place. They have the true dole pineapple whip ice cream. You get a good portion per serving they don't skimp you. Donuts are wonderful. Staff is always pleasant and friendly. When in pendelton, this is the place to stop to make you happy. I will definitely be back, and this is a must visit place. Got to at least get the dole pineapple icecream and a donut. You will not be dissapointed.“

“Love the chicken strip basket with gravy! You have to dunk the chicken strips and the fries in the gravy. ALL of the ice cream is great also but it's really hard for ice cream to not be great.

Parking: Parking lot is small but Needlers parking lot is huge and basically connected to DQ.

Kid-friendliness: They have a normal kids menu. Hamburger, hot dog and chicken fingers along with a few other kid friendly items.

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair myself and I am able to get around the parking lot. They do have handicap parking and wheelchair ramps. Inside is a little cramped but I am still able to wheel around. The bathroom is also tight but it is usable.“
