“We were first timers at Frank's and very pleasently surprised. We got the roast beef sandwich... Delish! and pulled pork sandwich. With the good selection of BBQ sauces on the table, it was nice to try a couple different options. I stopped at the 50/50 sauce. It's a perfect blend. I would say some of the very best I've ever had. We definitely see why Frank's is so popular. Great portions and flavor like nothing we have had in the past. The service was extremely friendly and fast. Our food came out piping hot. Great experience and we will be back. One thing I would warn, if you order hot peppers/giardiniera it is VERY hot. I think it should come with a warning 🙂 You would be smart to order it on the side and taste it first 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.”

“I just had this for the first time and I can say I love it! The bread and meat are very fresh and the tomato sauce was delicious! I had the sausage and beef combo and the wood fire margarita pizza! Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly! I will be back!”

“Food, so good I will ride a mobility scooter 10 miles an hour for a length of a half a mile in the cold, blistering wind to receive my nourishment from the Cedar Lake kitchen. Staff tremendously helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. It’s where family and friends meet.”

“Okay- RUN to Tastee Top. Stop what you’re doing and go. Right now. I literally just ate the best taco I have ever had in my life (I’m from Houston and I have had lots and lots of tacos.) The taco with steak was INCREDIBLE. My husband had a gyro and the meat was soo tender and delicious. My toddler inhaled his cheeseburger. Portion size is wonderful for the price. We ended the date with a frosted animal cookie shake and a brownie al la mode. 10/10 would recommend! I should also note how sweet the staff are. They are all smiles and super helpful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.”

“The history of this tavern is one of the best in Lake County Indiana. Positioned in what used to be an old Indiana town where the stagecoach used to stop here to give its passengers a rest, eats and drink. What a wonderful building . a building that even holds in the basement stories of the prohibition . A place that one day progress will destroy. Enjoy it while it’s still here..”

“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!”

“If you are not familiar with the area, you would probably drive right by the location and not realize that it is a takeout pizza place. Their pizzas are quite well prepared by an attentive staff, the crust is quite thin but it is good crust. The toppings were generous.”
