“We were first timers at Frank's and very pleasently surprised. We got the roast beef sandwich... Delish! and pulled pork sandwich. With the good selection of BBQ sauces on the table, it was nice to try a couple different options. I stopped at the 50/50 sauce. It's a perfect blend. I would say some of the very best I've ever had. We definitely see why Frank's is so popular. Great portions and flavor like nothing we have had in the past. The service was extremely friendly and fast. Our food came out piping hot. Great experience and we will be back. One thing I would warn, if you order hot peppers/giardiniera it is VERY hot. I think it should come with a warning 🙂 You would be smart to order it on the side and taste it first 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.”

“My first time I had ever been to Lighthouse and it was so worth it.the bartender ( Lauren ) not only made fantastic drinks but she also knew the menu and was able to guide me on what to get. The service from Lauren was amazing and I will definitely be coming back.”

“Food, so good I will ride a mobility scooter 10 miles an hour for a length of a half a mile in the cold, blistering wind to receive my nourishment from the Cedar Lake kitchen. Staff tremendously helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. It’s where family and friends meet.”

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.”

“What an incredible establishment. The owner was so kind and accommodating, the staff warm and welcoming, the service fast and PERFECT for our group of 17’s orders, and they were so kind! “The history of this tavern is one of the best in Lake County Indiana. Positioned in what used to be an old Indiana town where the stagecoach used to stop here to give its passengers a rest, eats and drink. What a wonderful building . a building that even holds in the basement stories of the prohibition . A place that one day progress will destroy. Enjoy it while it’s still here..”

“We have been to Bugaboo’s three times now! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and will be making this our go to place! The only bad thing I would say is don’t choose the blue cheese dressing (bottled) just ask for more crumbles!”

“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!”

Both girls at the counter were very welcoming!
I am a lover of good strong flavored coffee so they recommend the dark roast drip!
Kendall offered to brew a fresh pit as it was around 10:30 am as she said it was towards the bottom and she did not want me getting a bad cup! That was so appreciated and excellent customer service from her!! The coffee was perfect!! Great staff and great dark roast!!

“Great place for a simple family meal lunch or dinner. Very Clean, affordable, great customer service, Not just hot dogs. It is hard to find a place you can take your kids for a simple meal, clean atmosphere, and enough of menu variety. Well BoZ does it again. No shock why... this is the original family of Doltons first stand who runs it and they care. Their dad established something his family can be proud of. Quality care, Quality food. For you folks in Lowell especially it worth the drive up cause your places in Lowell stink and/or are so overpriced. I will never take my kids to some of the Lowell places again. Swing in to Boz in Cedar Lake and tell Chris, Revi Rose sent you. And mom will appreciate a simple dinner night she does not have to do the dishes. And Dad will have his Italian Beef he has been craving!!! Thanks to Boz for understanding something simple for the family that is not fast food. Just a nice quiet family spot with working AC :)”

“We have never had any bad experiences here. When we go through the drive thru we always hope it’s the gentleman that always says “Welcome to Pops, what’s your beef?” Not sure of his name but he’s definitely great at his job. Food is amazing and always fresh, the season fries are the best!”

“We did not eat in but had our pizza delivered. It arrived hot and just as we asked for it. They are not chintzy with their toppings and the crust was heavenly. This is the first time we've ordered from there as we were at our daughter's house. I would definitely make the trip to have another one.”
