There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.“

First of all I wish I lived closer because my mouth was watering the entire time, but most importantly you could tell the owner, Chef Samir, is absolutely in love with what he does and how he does it. “We had a table of 8 for my grandsons birthday. I had the cheese burger, medium well. Great taste. Cooked to perfection. Someone had the catfish and liked it. This person is very particular about their food and gave it high praise. No complaints from anyone and my son is a chef in his own rights.“

“I'll start by saying I was pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely recommend it. First of all, the outside had me a little worried, but the inside was clean (so were the bathrooms!) and the staff was very friendly. They had a large selection bar and we had a drink while we ordered food to go (drinks and food were both reasonably priced).

We got the pulled pork quesadilla (10/10 the best thing we had), pork tenderloin sandwich (potential for greatness, but was overcooked), and the ribs (the Shanghai BBQ sauce wasn't for me, but I'm very picky about my ribs and these could be my new favorite anyway as they were so fall apart tender and delicious; just get the regular BBQ sauce instead IMO). We also got a side of very good battered fries, battered onion rings, and coleslaw that had a touch of some seasonings I couldn't place, but they were good.

All in all, would very highly recommend and my family can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! I couldn't find a menu on their website, but the picture I'm posting is current as of Aug/9/2026.

Edit: We spent $65 pre-tip (but that also included drinks) and we still had leftovers. No complaints about the portions for the price 👍🏽“

“Ordered food at the drive thru on 5/13/26 @ 9 pm, employee unchanged one of the orders, I said clearly one single butterburger combo, got the cheese right this time but entered a dbl butterburger instead. Topping and condiments were scarce, drink tasted watered down and very little carbonation in the Coke. Very disappointed. The last three times I've stopped at a Culvers they unchanged because they half listen or don't omit cheese when asked.“

While Google Maps lists it as a food pantry, I visited twice and found no food available, suggesting it might be an occasional or scheduled service. “Amazing all the way around!!!! My family was on vacation from Ohio and wanted to celebrate a birthday. Frances was amazing at helping me coordinate the party for 18 the day of within an hour! She got us a semi-private room with buffet style food which was super delicious. Taylor was our server and made sure everyone was taken care of and enjoying themselves. She was very attentive and extremely friendly. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect, and this is very rare these days. We played putt putt afterward and had a blast! “We have become hooked on Slim Chickens! We saw they made their sauces in-house and breaded their own tenders so it couldn't be that bad.

Boy were we wrong, it wasn't that bad - it was unbelievably delicious!

They know how to properly package your order (keeping cold items separate from hot), are friendly and the orders are always accurate.

The chicken is marinated in buttermilk and lightly breaded so it doesn't have a typical heavy fried chicken feeling. They go really well with the house-made sauces which they make several of. We have tried virtually all of them and haven't had one we didn't like. (Buffalo & Spicy BBQ are our favorites, Hot is our least favorite but still enjoyable)

We have had a lot of things from here and haven't had a single bad thing. My wife thought the regular tenders complemented the sauces better versus the spicy. The spicy do have a nice kick to them. The tenders are so good you don't even need a sauce.

The wings are solid also but we prefer the tenders. Mac & Cheese was delicious along with the fries which tasted freshly cut.

They have desserts in a mason jar which are delectable. The seasonal flavors are Key Lime Pie & Strawberry Cheesecake. Both were stellar but we are fans of KLP so that is our preferred one.

The fried pickles lasted the 15+ minute trip home and were still plenty crunchy. I would have liked to see a smaller portion of them for a lower price.
