“We came here for dinner and were definitely not disappointed.The wings are the signature dish and have multiple sauces, all of which are house made fresh. we had the bourbon apricot sauce which was incredible. For dishes, my son had the pulled pork quesadilla, which was huge and stuffed with a ton of Pulled pork. My wife and I both had the Shanghai sticky ribs, which were delicious and fell off the bones right away. The coleslaw was a great side dish. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. It's a nice environment and great service. The chef, Greg, was awesome, and the whole staff was friendly.“
“I order food for our Team once or so a week and Erika's place is one restaurant that we have ordered from a few times now. Generally when we order it is for 11-15 people at a time. Everything is delicious, packaged well and generally still hot when we eat it. I phone these orders in ahead of time and they even go so far as to favor us by placing our employee names on the packaging so that it is easy to distribute the food before our lunch meetings.Our team have various tastes and preferences but they can all agree on the quality and deliciousness of the food here. “My husband and I just recently moved to Indiana, and we were looking for a new diner to frequent when we have the time. We came across Erika's Place by chance (the Cicero location), and decided to stop in and give it a try.The atmosphere is perfect for what we are looking for. Very cozy, homey, and welcoming. The staff are very attentive and very kind. And the food, my goodness the food is incredible. My husband got the western omelet and I got Joe's Frying Pan, and it is the best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything was made accurately, and in general was just incredibly tasty. We will definitely be making a stop at Erika's Place a weekly stop.“

“Nice crispy wings but very "sports bar" environment and cuisine. Service staff seem distracted, apathetic, depressed, or otherwise off-putting - strange vibe. Decent choice if you just want some simple bar food but it seems they are in the middle of changing their menu or something because we were told repeatedly they were out of a number of different items (on multiple visits). The sum of the parts are actually better than any one thing and, probably due to the nature of the facility e.g. attached mini-golf, there are often kids running around being, well... kids. Recommend for the entire package but probably not good for just a quiet dinner.Parking: Parking lot seems to fill up fast yet when you walk in it looks mostly empty.“
“Very good breakfast spot. Large portions of freshly made, yummy food served quickly by friendly, caring staff. I was skeptical as i approached due to it being located at end of a quiet strip mall along busy road, but once inside I was warmly greeted, quickly served beverages, and ordered within minutes. Excellent omelette, yummy pancakes, and unique tasty Aza potatoes - gotta try them to know! Very good value. Extremely clean interior. Decor is casino throwback with fun playing card, poker chip, and casino cashier highlights. What a hoot! I'd come back for the wonderful breakfast alone, but the fun theme and friendly staff put icing on the cake. Truly a great restaurant!“

“We had a large group of 18 and were seated quickly. More of my family showed up than we thought so we ended up needing more seats. This was a hard task but we made it work and Nick our waiter was awesome. Orders were accurate, food hot, and drinks were plenty. Great atmosphere. “Went there for 'guys' breakfast with a few friends. We all had something different, I had the limited time pigs in a blanket. It was good, full size sausage links wrapped in 3 pancakes. Well done hash browns and cheesy scrambled eggs. Everyone else's food looked good, coffee cups were always full. Didn't have room for the awesome looking pies. Good spot.“

We both ordered the CornBeef, which was thin sliced sandwich style; not our favorite way of preparing this dish. Cabbage was basically just cooked slaw. The potatoes were excellent. They had one guy working (possibly a manager) but he was taking care of roughly 40 people by himself no problem and checked on our table at least 10 times. “Tried this place and I was blown away. This is a secret gem for sure. We had reservations which was good because on a Saturday at 7:30 it was packed. There was, however plenty of parking around the building so no worries there. The menu has something for everyone, steak, sandwiches, salads, pasta, just a wide variety of items to choose from. It took us all some time to pick what we wanted because everything sounded so good. I landed on steak and a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Because it was my birthday celebrations, I also was able to pick from a dessert. I picked the carrot cake. While typically I'm not the biggest fan of carrot cake, the server said how amazing it was and she was right. Lastly - They do have a speak easy type area in the basement called the cellar. We were able to have dinner down there (we put the request in ahead of time), but there were many people down there just have cocktails. Really nice vibe down there where you would want to go even if you aren't having dinner.“
