“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. “I go every Wednesday for the 1 pound shrimp and I have to say they are the best tasting shrimp I've had this far. The size of the shrimp are huge with a nice flaky batter that gives a flavorful taste. I have my family going there as well for great tasting seafood!!!“

“I saw video on tik tok, so I went. I got the shrimp and the perch just like the guy on tik tok. The shrimp were really good, not a lot of heavy batter, but that perch had no seasoning at all. I was highly disappointed with the perch. Will I drive to Gary again for it,probably not. You go and get those shrimp. It was only two people working in there and our property can understand why it was a lot of pressure on them, but they need to hire another person to work with them And important that you have the food right not overdo it. “Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

She went out of her way to accommodate us with special seating arrangements — and made sure everything was perfect for us!! Her kindness and flexibility truly stood out!

The service overall wasn’t the best that day, as they were unusually short-staffed, which made things move a little slower. Still, the food was good as usual, and Ruby’s genuine care and extra effort really made the overall experience positive as we all had a great time! Just wish mariachis sang longer!! Always nice hearing them !!
