“We visit all the local Mexican spots frequently and were burnt out on the regular places. Stumbled across this place and were blown away. It’s everything we like in a Mexican restaurant. Great house margs, authentic dishes, thin crispy chips, cold salsa, large dollop of sour cream. Just checked all the boxes for us.

Our server was great, food came out quick and was hot and so flavorful. I got the Quesadilla à la diabla, and my partner got the carnitas tacos.

We will definitely be back. Lots of other items on the menu we wanted to try.”

“We had three (3) appetizers, calamari, shrimp and meat board - all were delicious. Then one had the blue crab cakes, filet medallions, 8oz filet mignon, and white cheese Bacon burger. We will return as the wait staff were excellent and provided enough service that we were impressed. Fished the meal off with cream Brule, carrot cake and chocolate something. Needless to say, they had to roll us outa the restaurant.”

“I've come here a lot with family and I'll be honest every single time the service is exceptional. Food is always good. We also come here for birthdays and this time we recently came in with some candles and they lit them of us. Very happy and thankful. We definitely enjoyed the food and loved the service!”

“Reservation on Saturday night at 7:15 party of four. Was seated immediately. Ordered drinks and appetizer. Our waitress came over and checked on us. Told her we're ready to order. Said she'd be right back. She went to take the order of two tables seated after us. After about 15 minutes, she returned. Ordered our food. About 25 minutes later the food arrived and my sides were incorrect. I simply asked to have the item I ordered removed from my bill. About two minutes later, my side showed up. Having a mouth full of food, I took my fork and tapped on the bowl that my side came in. This must have triggered the waitress. She walked away, stood in the corner talking to another employee. The GM came out. He was awesome. Very polite and respectful. Moral of the story. Great food, great atmosphere, lousy service from the waitress. GM was awesome. We will return, hope it's a different waitress. I understand everyone has a bad night. Don't take it out on the customers.”

The margarita-ish is well thought out for those of us who don’t drink beer, but my partner really enjoyed “Hang Loose,” a refreshing IPA. The pizza was fantastic, definitely a place to come to for a relaxing evening.”

They were very busy tonight and without a touch of defensiveness they remade my order once i let them know about the issues. How businesses handle mistakes matters. I would definitely eat here again because of their professionalism and courtesy and also because the food was good.”

“Peppers Smoke Wings in Greenwood was okay. I called ahead and still had to wait while multiple patrons were served before me. The wings were smoky and decent, but they didn’t seem fresh or hot. Nothing really stood out or was worth raving about. Most of the crowd was at the bar. Also, they have plenty of pool tables and karaoke. No military discount, but they did thank me for my service, which I appreciated. Overall, it was just okay, and I probably wouldn’t return.”

“This locations is FANTASTIC! We reserved their party room this afternoon for my 3 year old’s birthday party. I was able to decorate how I wanted, and the manager on duty asked if I needed help with any of it. Our party was a bit bigger than the room and we ended up spreading out to another good half of the restaurant, and they didn’t mind. The food came out hot, they provided all the plates and silverware, and ice. They said not to worry about trash, that they would come and get everything but we wanted to take care of it ourselves so they rolled a trash can over for us to use, told us to help ourselves to the ice dispenser and whatever else we needed they helped with. We weren’t charged to use the room and the bill was extremely budget-friendly even! They were incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating and I could not thank them enough, they earned every penny of their tips and more. This location and its employees are wonderful!”

“Locally owned seasonal outdoor ice cream shop. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck- this place is definitely it- the owner doesnt seem to believe in inflation. They have a very expansive menu with many quick bite options. Outdoor seating is available but a little ran down- but no problem if it helps keep cost down- there is a nice small park right across the street or a larger park right around the corner. This place gets packed but have never had any issues with getting my ice cream and/or food in a timely manner.”

“We got the Mago Skillet with pancakes and the T-bone steak and eggs. Portions were great! Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the steak had excellent flavor. Home fries were cooked perfectly, they just need a little bit of salt. But I would prefer not enough salt instead of too much salt. The pancakes had a slight metallic aftertaste, so I think that might be the batter. But the texture was nice and fluffy and good portions. We also ordered 10 pork and chicken tamales to go. The tamales were phenomenal. Great portion, plenty of filling, and just needed a little pinch of salt on top to make it perfect. We reheated them at home and ate them over the next few days. They were great. My family is from Mexico, and my dad said these reminded him of the tamales he had growing up. They are the best he’s had in the U.S. The prices were great. We got to speak to some of the people that work there, and they are all family. It was really cool to see them all working together. Portions, flavors, price, and service were great!”

The staff were phenomenal, the server was also extremely kind and patient with taking our orders. When we asked the hostess for a menu for dessert, she brought it quickly. The hostess Sophia and the other staff there made me and my brother’s day after he had to spend most of that morning at the hospital for his chemo treatment. “We order through Doordash almost daily! The Macallister's club is amazing with the potato soup.Only downside is that the store doesn't accept additional requests, so I cant ask for more crackers. They only give 1 maybe 2 crackers- and thats if your lucky!!! All in all its a good meal when your trying to eat and not over eat.”
