“My husband and I decided to try Pavs for the first time. We tried the lemon rice soup and a club sandwich. The soup was absolutely amazing! Taste was perfect. The club sandwich was very delicious they don’t skimp on products. We will definitely be back again. Found a new favorite place.“

“It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.“

“everyone was friendly from the time we entered the restaurant. The food was perfect. The owner visited our table, and we felt very welcome and relaxed. our server was Brooke, and she was amazing, answered all of our questions and recommended some of the items on the menu. We will be going back, as there are many more things we want to try!!“

“Call it Dante’s, call it Gators. This place is a legacy to the area. The bartenders are experienced and their personalities are the best! Shout out to Cheryle and Wade. From the chicken family pack to the pizza, Gators food is excellent as well. If a band is playing on the weekend, this place will be busy and you are sure to have a fun time. 😁“

“First, the service was very good. The bartender was quick to pick up on whether we wanted a drink or we wanted a menu. The food was great, as always. I have to eat something when I come in here. I just can't pass it up.
Parking: There is a lot of parking, but you may have to walk.“

“We love coming here, and the last couple times we’ve been here, we had Lauren as our server. She is amazing, sit in her section if you can. She’s great at her job. She brought us extra dipping sauces, was very timely, remembered us, was extremely kind, checked on us several times, brought us free samples of her beer recommendations (based off of our personal taste!); I can’t say enough about her! The curds are amazing, the beer is great, and we love everything we’ve tried so far. Get the pizza extra crispy when you go!“

“The Crown Point location is great. I prefer their food over any of their other locations. Not sure if it's because it's the newest site to open but I hope that the quality of the food and service does not change. A solid 4 stars!“

“Served us excellent BBQ dinner with high-quality, tasty meats (brisket, pulled pork, and turkey). Very unique tasting BBQ beans, Brussel sprouts were flavorful, and we even enjoyed the Cole slaw. We really enjoy SPICY BBQ sauce and both the Bombers (HOT) and ATOMIC (VERY HOT) did not disappoint. Good portion sizes and we even had meat leftover, which was still very tasty for the next morning's breakfast.
Nice decor with the beverage tap wall and pinball machines in the back. Staff was friendly.“

“It was Date Night and we recieved an Applebee's card for Christmas so we decided to cash in. I decided to start with a Cocktail it was a Berry Merry Colada, ( a pina colada with strawberry swirl) and an order of Mozzarella Sticks....Soooo Good!!! For our entrees we decided on Steak. I decided to get the Shrimp 'N' Parmesan Sirloin (medium rare) with Mashed Potatoes and a Squash Medley with Summer Squash and Zucchini. Everything was delicious but unfortunately my boyfriends order did not come out as perfect as mine did. My boyfriend ordered an 8oz.Top Sirlion (medium rare) with double Mashed Potatoes and it came out Raw. The outside was cooked but the inside was not. We Hate to complain but it was literally inedible. So we let our waitress know and she apologized and took it off the bill immediately. We ended up ordering him an order of Boneless Wings ( Honey BBQ) and they were perfect. I know accidents happen so we are not terribly upset and our waitress was an Absolute Rockstar who was juggling a few tables all at once and getting everyone what they needed. She was Incredible and did Everything she could to make it right!! Thank you!! We Appreciate You!!“
