“We had a good experience at The Nopal. It was my first time to visit since they changed hands. The food was typical to other Mexican restaurants in our area, but slightly above average and the service was exceptional. Only took off one star because no margaritas! It seems they have no liquor license at this time, but they're working on it! I hope they get it before summer because they have a nice patio seating area and I would love to come back and enjoy another meal outside accompanied by a margarita.“
“Better then other Tacobells around they actually use normal portions where some TBs put very little. I still have issues with bigger orders. Last visit I was missing one item and another item was made incorrectly. They are fast to fix and replace any issues “
“I’ve been here a few times and the food doesn’t disappoint. I did have a disappointing experience today with our bill however. There was an extra meal charged on our bill which I brought to our servers attention. When she returned, I found that instead of voiding and printing a corrected bill, she ran a credit charge for the overage. This meant I had to pay the higher incorrect charge and wait (from what I understand) a couple 3-4 days for the credit to return to my card. I don’t feel it appropriate that the customer pay for the billing error then have to wait for a refund. I did let them know I wasn’t happy about it. I will be watching that I do receive this credit. It also put a bad taste in my mouth about returning anytime soon.“
“I go to this restaurant all the time when I’m on that side of town. Quite a few of my friends live right around it. One of my favorite dishes is their hot and spicy chicken. Overall the experience is very pleasant and the food is excellent.“
“This place is has some good Birria Tacos. I have yet to try more items on the menu, but I will soon. The prices are average, compared to most other places and taco trunks I visited. But the portion sizes is nothing close to the west coast or southern region.“
“I've been to a lot of different Mexican restaurants in the Indy metro area, and this is hands-down one of the BEST. Got the camarones a la diabla and they were wonderfully spicy (not too supremely spicy either). Choriqueso was very well seasoned and delicious as well. Service was immaculate too. This will not be our last time here either!“
“Wow this place is fantastic. Unique menu with many things I’ve never seen at an Indianapolis restaurant. Not for people who fear flavor or new foods they are not catering to the American palette. Great atmosphere with music and decor that is on point. Clean bathrooms always and most importantly the best staff. Customer service is through the roof these folks take pride in their work, tip em extra cause I already know they deserve it.“
“This is the first time I have visited this restaurant since they changed to Mexican and Greek Restaurant from Greek and American, my husband has been and liked it, so we went today, had the deep fried chicken chimichanga, warm fresh tortilla chips and homemade salsa were served almost as soon as we were seated, also ordered the cheese dip appetizer, everything was delicious, chimichanga was loaded with tender chicken!“
“The food was hot and delicious. Reasonably priced for 2 tacos and a drink. It was raining at the time so I sat in the car until my food was ready. The food truck is near the new justice center I think off of justice way. You won't be disappointed.“
“The new server is very polite and patient and presented herself with etiquette. She smiled alot and was very attentive! The food was on point (I'm a certified chicken and steak tacologist). Everything was well seasoned! The chips and salsa aren't the typical chips and salsa style, but better! The restaurant was very clean and the music complimented my margarita ?... it was like an extra shot of tequila in my cup. I didn't expect so much swag and atmosphere before I walked in. I am definitely glad I did, and I appreciate having places like La Iguana I can go to when I need great food!“
“Not the Mexican you're used to. Focuses on seafood. You won't get lovely, spicy, chunky salsa with your chips. You get mayo and ceviche. Can't even ask for salsa, you know like Chi-Chi's, On The Border, or Pace. Nice people, good staff. My wife likes seafood so I go. Drinks seem very watered down (not just my opinion) so stick to beer.“
“Don Rigo never disappoints. The food comes out quickly and always tastes great. The shrimp chimichanga is delicious. So are the QuesaBurria tacos. The 88 ounce margarita tower is fun for a group! We do try to avoid going during peak hours because the restaurant is rather small and can be very crowded during busy times. The layout feels cramped and it can be difficult to get around because of how narrow the paths are between the tables. When we do go at busier times, the wait time is usually fast. The bar side is the restaurant offers a bit more room than the main room. We usually try and sit in there.“
“Really enjoy going to this restaurant. The service is always great and the food is awesome. My wife gets the Pollo Ranchero and I got the Texas taco salad this time (delicious). Always amazed with waiters, they look like they are almost running to take care of orders. Have had a great experience every time we've ate here.“
“We ordered the alambre and it was delicious. We also had the children's nachos which is a more than generous size and will last for two meals. We had a tamale that was slightly undercooked on one side but the staff was very humble and gracious and quickly offered to make up for it with a new one, but my mother was quite full at that point. For dessert My son and mom had the had a flan which was amazing.Portion sizes were over generous and we are able to take home leftovers for a second meal. They even gave us some salsa to take home as well. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We highly recommend and wish that they were closer to us so we could frequent here more often.Dietary restrictions: I do not eat anything that comes from a cow. They were very accommodating of this. My mother does not eat anything spicy and they made sure that her sauces came on the side.Kid-friendliness: The wait staff was very friendly and kind to my 5-year-old child listened and spoke to him directly.“
“Great chips and salsa. Prices and portions were great. We ordered a burrito Loco and house beef soup. The soup was surprisingly good and the burrito was fire. They mix chicken and beef in the burrito. It was so good I forgot to take pictures. Lol.“
“Best Mexican cuisine in all of town, I've been going here for a good minute and the food is always top quality for Mexican food in the Greenfield area? Staff are friendly, food is decently priced, and the portions are perfection. Keep doing it right El MariachiParking: Large number of spaces, in a rarely used strip mall.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu!“
“I had the steak fajita and my husband, the Texas fajita. The portion sizes were enormous!!! Gordon Ramsay would complain that half the profits are walking out the door. Ha ha! But we've got another meal later, so it helped our pocketbook. The waiter was nice. He could have been a little more attentive. We will definitely be going back.“
“I love their food! Even though they have multiple items on their menu, there aren't so many that you feel overwhelmed. They also list all the ingredients in English and Spanish so you know exactly what you're getting. The food is fresh, always hot and made to order. And I can't say enough about their fresh squeezed juice. The papaya, and the passion fruit juice are amazing. I come at least one so a week, and I would definitely come more if I lived closer lol.“
“Food was a great a nice staff for a great price. Our awesome server gave us a bag of chips and salsa to go for no additional cost. Called my kid champion I thought that was nice. Our server gave us a to go bag for our food. We ordered the Texas nachos and the Chile verde both were amazing! Overall great place we will definitely come here again!!“
“This truck was at a church event that they had. I've never eaten at a taco truck before, but I didn't want anything else they had. These guys gave the BEST customer service I've ever had, AND the food was amazing! If I see them at another event, they'll definitely be my go to!“
“Great everything! Went for the first time today and didnt have to wait at all. Immediately our drink orders were taken and margaritas served. I got a blueberry margarita which i have never seen in a mexican restaurant, and I loved it. My mom got a marg flight and loves every single drink. The food was great with a pretty diverse menu, the service was great. Will definitely be making the trip again.“
“Authentic TEX MEX , all the patrons and staff were Latino except me , but I was served promptly and welcomed warmly. I ordered two shrimp tacos delux and they were delicious and quickly brought out by a beautiful friendly waitress. This restaurant is adjacent to a small Latino grocery store . I think this is a common practice and I believe it promotes fresh food and family atmosphere. Try it you will like it!“
“Always a pleasure, the ladies are beautiful the men are polite and good cooks. They make sure it's exactly what you ask for, they attend to you without being over bearing (my preference is watch my drinks and check with me frequently but don't hang around too long) and they do just that take care of you without interrupting the flow of your conversation. The food has been 8-10/10 everytime and I'm a regular not once have I had a " mid meal" they also have unique cocktails and margaritas. The vibe is welcoming the food is great big fan.If I had to think of a negative critique............idk maybe a tv or two would be a nice addition, just something more to look at I guess. Get the corn tortilla street tacos with cilantro and lime for a reliably good meal and throw a cactus margarita to share with your date!“
“This establishment offers a wide variety of products, especially those familiar to Latinos, such as condiments, spices, and certain types of meats that might be hard to find in a typical American supermarket. However, the main drawback is the limited space; the place quickly becomes crowded, causing discomfort when there are around six people. My recommendation is to plan ahead and avoid peak hours to steer clear of crowds and long lines at the cashier.Despite this space limitation, a standout feature is the availability of pre-prepared foods, ideal for those with limited time who want to enjoy something traditional from Mexico. In summary, this place is a solid choice for meeting specific needs for Latin American products, but careful planning is crucial to avoid inconveniences due to the confined space. This establishment offers a wide variety of products, especially those that Latinos are accustomed to, such as condiments, spices, and certain types of meats that are difficult to find in a conventional supermarket in the United States. “Tik tok made me find this place. A guy called the Crawfish king eats these huge Chicharrons and they look so delicious i had to find them. Idk why but my soul felt like i would find them him. I went to google maps and searched Chicharron and this name popped up i went to the pics and there they were. I went today and purchased some. They run about a lil over 5$ a piece. I don't speak Spanish so there was a language barrier but we made it through. They also take cards. Im excited to try more things.“
“I've always come to this restaurant due to being so close to where I live plus getting good food service, the staff is friendly, attentive and the rare times I had small issues with the food, they do you right by fixing the error. Just gotta love their tacos de asada & al pastor, the orchata drink is quite good, It's an easy recommendation from me to this business place to my friends & to everyone looking for a good Mexican food location. On the weekends at late hours I can say that it gets a little bit loud for my taste due to they turn into full bar mode with their karaoke nights and the drunks, lol, so if that's not your thing then coming here in early before 10pm would be the best to enjoy your meal time.“
“It seems that they were not satisfied with the shrimp ceviche they ordered for takeout the previous night. They found that it did not appear to be shrimp or taste like shrimp. When they ordered takeout again the next day, they willingly exchanged the shrimp ceviche for another entree, just paying the difference in price. The restaurant allowed them to exchange the dish without any issues.“
