“Took the family out for dinner. Place is absolutely kid friendly. Our girls’ food came out first, and looked perfect. Fruit looked completely fresh, unlike some other places we’ve been. Our kids were pretty much done eating before we got our food, but they comped us a dessert for the wait. Then, WE missed the fact that there were onions in the chicken parm, and they still took it off our bill, even after we said it wasn’t necessary!! Our waiter was a charm and so was the manager!!! Absolutely will go back!“

“This was the first time I went here. This place is awesome. We had a great waitress. She started up with complimentary croissants. Oh they were tasty. Then we shared onion rings... those were yummy. I had ribs and steak with 2 sides 1 loaded baked potatoes and beans and rice. The sizes are ample Everything was seasoned great. The ribs were tender covered with barbecue sauce, the red beans and rice were amazing.. my husband had chicken tenders with steak fries and mash potatoes with gravy. The portion of mash potatoes was on the small side so was the French fries. He said Everton tasted great.“

“I ordered for the first time from your establishment tonight. Just a simple steak mashed potatoes and side salad. It came just perfect. It’s perfect size for two meals for this older single lady. Actually four meals because I will get two lunches out of the salad and that means a lot to me being retired. I didn’t have to cook or clean anything up either. The steak was nice and tender, flavorful and I really appreciate not having potato peels in my mashed potatoes!! those were very good! I will be back. Thanks!“

“Went to the Egg Crate for the very 1st time with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. The service was excellent as my drink was always topped of by the gracious waitress. The biscuit was delicious, especially when I smothered it in butter and jelly! The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy in the outside and perfectly tender on the outside. I especially loved the variety of sauces and dips from my fries! The meal was very filling as I ended up sharing my fries with my neices and nephews (as they were eagerly waiting for me to "throw in the towel" so they could gobble them up!) Along with the delicious food the atmosphere of the diner has a really cozy atmosphere with a lot of fun themed country style decor. I am looking forward to visiting the Egg Crate Cafe on my future visits from Colorado!“

“This is some of the best service I have ever received. We had a blonde waitress and the girl at the front was also so incredibly kind!

My gma is 96 and has trouble walking and a bit of dementia. The employees were so kind and patient, the lady at the front running to get ahead of us to make sure the door was open for her walker.

Our waitress was so kind and worked with my gma and was so patient with her. She was also on top of her game.

The food here is always OK but today it was cooked perfectly it's just not my personal favorite, though it is still good.

Even if the food was terrible the amazing service I received and the kindness my gma received makes this a place I will keep coming back to for a long time.

If there was a way I wish the two employees we had on June 16 around noon would be able to receive recognition and honestly a raise for their incredible kindness and great work.“

“There Nighy crew has a pathetic thief in the lobby I got up to use the bathroom and when I got back to the table my $25 dollar mechanics glove where gone my girl works there and she says she told management but they all friends up there and he won't do nothing so far and k doubt he will“

The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, which I enjoyed. Given the location and the convenience of grabbing a quick bite during a zoo visit, it's a decent option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The prices are a bit steep for what you get, but that's expected at a place like this. Overall, it's an okay choice if you're hungry while exploring the zoo.“

“John what are the supervisors was extraordinarily friendly and helpful and absolutely made my visit wonderful. I was so welcomed and the steak burger was absolutely fantastic and I also enjoyed the fries and they did it without salt because I can't have anything but sea salt. It was a great meal. But it was John that made it wonderful.“

“6:00 on a Sunday evening and hungry for BBQ on the west side of town. Rib Crib for the win. Ribs were delicious and the smoked chicken salad was great, especially since I added pulled pork.

Wife had the catfish which she loved. Our server was great and the food came out quickly.

The only downside was the restaurant could have been cleaner as the floors needed to be vacuumed and some of the tables needed bussed.

I have never had anything but good food here and don’t understand why they aren’t busier.“

“You know the portions are actually quite spot on. It's normally a family-friendly talked to Grandma while keeping the kids to behave. This is one of my favorite overall places to get pie from in town. They have a very large assortment and they're very polite about everything. And honestly this place is always clean I've never seen anything dirty here.“

“This store does a pretty good job at keeping up with orders and gets them right the first time. Love their mini grocery store when I am in a pinch for milk, tv dinner or fresh fruit. However, there is often a long line between 12 to 4pm every other day or so. They are popular.“

I ordered the brisket Quesadillas. Tasted okay but very greasy. Strawberry Lemonade was very good. Very loud in there but it was a Saturday evening. Put the 2 of us in a tiny booth though. Really didn't care for that as there were several full sized booths open.“

They were very crowed but they work fast and hard to get everyone in there. The service was outstanding and the food was was amazing. Our waiter was an older gentleman who has been there for years.
