“We attended a private event for approximately 50 guests at Austin's on Lone Elm this weekend. The taco bar was quite tasty, and stocked repeatedly for our group as needed. While the party was fun, it was ever more memorable due to our two servers, Mikaela and Jeremy. These two were so fun, exuberant and hard working professionals. Their constant smiles while keeping up with the drink orders with precision was fantastic! They were go getters from the start and made an already fun day even better. Great employees, good food, thank you Austin's Lone Elm for a great experience!“

“This is one of the best places in the area to watch a game or host a large party for dinner. Plenty of booze, plenty of good food, plenty of TV's and plenty of seating. I don't recommend the patio seating unless you like cigarette smoke.“

“Of all my years living in the KC metro, this is the first time I have ever been to Old Chicago.
The location is in a busy area of 119th st.
I enjoyed the personal pepperoni pizza special which included a house salad and a cookie desert. The chocolate chip cookie was warm and fresh.
The prices are affordable and the servers have good service.“

“Always a solid choice for lunch. Tried the firecracker shrimp tacos for the first time, and they were delicious! My co-worker said the jambalaya was seasoned well. Their hot wings are always on point. Service seemed a bit off on our visit, but it's not always like that. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'll be back soon just for those firecracker shrimp tacos!“

“OP has a great place for easy eating of Mexican tacos and plates. This checked all my items including fast service and food was excellent. Bistec a La Mexicana was what I ordered because I saw it and had to have it. Gotta keep this one around OP.“

“Love this place! The staff is so so nice and the food is great. Will say, the live music is WAY too loud. Talked to multiple people during the live music and they agreed. It was a great performer but was hard to hear my server and people around. If the sound was turned down just slightly during live performers it would be 10/10!! Otherwise food and staff is amazing“

“We ate there Saturday afternoon and they weren't overly busy. Two of us got the shrimp platter with fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, the shrimp and hush puppies were burnt. They were so overcooked they weren't moist at all, dry as can be. The waitress forgot to bring the malt vinegar for our friends fish platter. Then she ordered a mule beer and the waitress never did return with that either. Food used to be great. Hopefully this was just a bad day. We'll give them another chance.“

“Moe was amazing! She handled the entire bar/restaurant by herself on a Chiefs Sunday! She served everyone's drinks and food, cleaned up everywhere, wiped off tables if spills or anything happened, cashed out everyone tabs, literally did everything by herself! And she made it look easy, which we all know but that could not have been easy! I really appreciate her and her hard work!

“A group of us had lunch at Becks today. I would definitely give it a thumbs up. everyone got something different to eat from burgers, fish, Rueben and chicken fried chicken dinner and chicken fried steak. Our waitress Bea was great.!!! Would hope to get her again when I'm there.“

“Went to the pop up Christmas bar! It was fun and livly. The ambiance was a little more sit down dinner than bar atmosphere. But once people filtered in it became more of a fun place to eat. The photo op was great and everyone loved getting their picture in front of it. The specialty drinks were just a little pricey for the amount but still good and fun. Food was good. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed at the start but we stayed and as it cleared out she lightened up. I understand it was busy and she was probably busy. Maybe have more servers for so many tables. Still a great place to go get drinks and food. We have been to the social many times when the pop up bar isn't there and it can still be a good time.“

“We had a retirement party for my wife, the whole experience from beginning to end was beyond outstanding. Thanks to the young lady Alyia that took care of us and Adam that managed the party, the kitchen staff that made the food was awesome, a lot of compliments on it. “Love the steak/filet special they offer on Fridays with all the trimmings. I enjoy the French Dip sandwich. The meat is always tender, but the hogie bun has little taste. Having a pretzel bun or something different would be much tastier for that sandwich.“

“Checked out the place because I loved what I had seen online. I was greeted promptly and efficiently at the hostess stand. I was quickly seated. I reviewed the menu and my server greeted me quickly. I asked her for her recommendation. She suggested the bourbon glaze burger. The burger was juicy flavorful and well seasoned. The server was available but not pushy. The manager also checked to be sure things were satisfactory. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return. If i were to make one suggestion, it would to not put all the garnish on the bottom bun.“

“Best of the best! Smoked turkey is in point and if you like pastrami you HAVE to get thier smoked pastrami on seeded rye w saurkraut and mustard.....omg! It's the bbq version of a rueban sandwich and let me tell ya...it's a game changer! 1 sandwich is Enough for 2 people...or 2 meals if you don't want to share :) The manager was so kind, he brought our service dog a bowl of water while we ate. The server and bartender were amazing...
And we didn't even order drinks! They were just a great team over the lunch hour. Thank you Haywards for making our stop enjoyable from start to finish!“

“This is definitely the best bar in the Kc area! I’m not even a huge drinker, but I love the atmosphere here. Best bartenders in town! That’s my fave part after the wings! Yes the wings here are the best in town!! The drink selection is fantastic! Once again the bartenders are THE BEST!!! Pool tables, darts, music, live music, open mic, big TVs, what more could you ask for!!! THE BEST!!“

“This is not my favorite Tanner’s to go to in the metro due to location of the restaurant.

I loved their steak night special.
I recommend their cheese balls for an appetizer.

I didn’t catch her name, but she was so professional, quick, talented, friendly, and all around one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. “In town for work and stopped by this place last Sunday evening for something to eat and drink. Set at the bar where the food and service was fantastic. Really enjoyed the experience. Came back again Tuesday night and had some pretty awesome wings delgatto. Not sure if I'm spelling that correctly, but they were fantastic. The guy I was with ordered some wings and they were not made how he ordered them. Before he could even say anything, the manager (Susan) came by and said she was notified by staff that they were sent out wrong. They brought the correct wings a few minutes later. I find it remarkable that not only would staff notice it was wrong, but also took the time to correct it. Our server was Trent and he was excellent. Josylen helped us out as well and was fantastic. I took note of thier names because I wanted to point them out for the service. Whatever policies and procedures are in place here, are working well. Hats off to the management and staff. And also, Olivia is awesome.“

“Very quick turnaround from order to pick-up and the orders have been accurate all for times I've ordered on the app. That's one issue though, the app interface looks good but it's not user friendly and I never can tell if the discounts or code of the day has been applied properly but the order is spot on so it is what it is.
Oh and the all American cheeseburger is phenomenal“

“Strongly recommend that you check it out. We were out for drinks and karaoke (Saturday night) and we had a great time! KJ did great! Music was great! Some good singers in there. We did not eat, but the food looked great! Prices are very reasonable. Staff was outgoing and friendly which really helps patrons have a great time too. 5 out of 5 stars“
