“We don't get out to K & M often, but thoroughly enjoy it when we do. I had the combination dinner with brisket and turkey, with cole slaw and cottage cheese for my sides. Service is always fast and friendly, the decor cute and homey with a western feel. Great sauces, pork tenderloins, and onion rings, too! I generally don't need this much sauce, but I was really feeling the spicy sauce today, don't judge 😂.“

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. “I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. “We just moved to the area from Arizona. Originally born and Texas Boy. My daughter took us to this place. Tried the breakfast and lunch, this food took me back to TEXAS for sure. Great flavor authentic for sure. Lots of love goes into this small family owned joint like it should be. So two weeks later went back tried the barbacoa simply amazing. “Thaina my server did an excellent job. She checked on me at just the right spots and offered a smile the whole time. She was also training another server a the time and was doing great at that. “My family is obsessed with this place. We moved out of Gardner a few years ago but we find ourselves coming back for Fronteras!

Assuming you don't fill up on chips and salsa (and margaritas) there's a diverse menu full of bangers. Our server, Angello, said the cream cheese enchiladas was the most popular dish on the menu, and after eating them I can see why.

“My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Olathe. I have had an assortment of dishes here, and they were all delicious. Fajitas, Kansas Burrito, Carne Asada plate. The Chips and Dip is good, you can sometimes find a coupon for a free Queso Dip in one of the Valpak or other local flyers. There are only 2 draw backs when coming here. 1st, they are always very busy. Im not a big fan of crowds or being seated back to back against the next table and they try to pack those tables in there like sardines to service the most customers they can. 2nd is that the staff is not always friendly or even helpful when you have questions about a dish. But the food has always been excellent. Even on to go orders.“

“Reminds me of a hunting lodge style restaurant I loved back home in the woods of Western Pennsylvania. The sides of hush puppies, white beans and coleslaw were great. The main course of Cajun style catfish was delicious and done to perfection, moist and flaky.“

Their process to getting all 85 guests served in a timely manner was flawless and the food absolutely amazing (people are STILL talking about it)! “We’ve visited here twice in the past two weeks. Our 1st meal was their amazing Friday night prime rib deal. It was worth every penny, and we couldn’t get enough of the smoked Aggies. On our 2nd visit, we tried the Spicy Chicken Clucker sandwich, and the owner recommended the white cheddar mac and cheese, which was fantastic. Their corn muffins are our son’s favorite, so we had to order extra for him. The owner is very friendly and very passionate about his food. We can’t wait to come back and try more food.“

“My husband and I visited Cider Festival at KC Wine Co. with friends and had a wonderful time — the atmosphere was lively, the cider delicious, and the games a blast.

At the end of our visit, someone in our group experienced an unexpected health scare (completely unrelated to KC Wine Co.). In that stressful moment, the kindness and professionalism of the staff truly shone. Julie was extremely supportive — calm, reassuring, and so attentive — and Sean (forgive me if I’m spelling that wrong) was also absolutely amazing. He made sure my husband and I arrived safely to our vehicle, and there was just something truly special about him. He has such a sweet spirit and a genuine gift for working with and caring for people.

We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.“

This new location popped up next to my favorite grocery store and I figured I’d give it a try. My family and I both agree the food at this location is very fresh and flavorful!
