“We have eaten here several times and have normally had good service and food. However recently I was sitting on hold for about 20 mins before I finally hung up and tried calling back. Which I could not as I'm guessing the phone was just sitting on the bar and all I got was the busy signal. I still recommend The Hive for its good food and usually good service, but wanted to share my most recent experience.“

Everything was cooked to perfection. Best Salmon Salad I’ve ever had in my life!! Good job, Wichita Red Rock!! The manager, Veronica, was so nice and checked on us, and our server, Drew, was on top of everything. We had a great evening. Bonus: good ranch dressing!!“

“We started regularly going here (west wichita location) about 8 months ago. Dine in once and multiple carry outs. This place never misses! Fast, friendly, prompt, delicious, accurate. They check every box for us. 🥰“

“FMK knocked it out of the park today for Mother’s Day brunch. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and the food was a 10/10. Even though they didn’t have a dedicated kid’s menu, my boys split the pancake combo and it was perfect for them to share. We also tried the lobster eggs benedict and the Korean steak & eggs- both amazing! Their breakfast potatoes are fantastic as well.

Our server was great and went out her way to help us enjoy our brunch with two small boys (not easy!) by bringing our food out quickly and staying on top of refills. We appreciated being able to get in and out, but they weren’t rushing tables either. Just a great experience all around!“

“Usually, nostalgia is a sensation that comes from a time period you experienced yourself. Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. Thanks Jimmie's Diner for keeping that nostalgia going!! Our server, Flash was outstanding he was very friendly and personable. we had a good conversation with him aswell. our food was right on par and the presentation looked great. we fi shed our lunch with a giant sundae. “Had the brisket Mac and cheese egg roll, southwest chicken egg roll, and voodoo fries. Egg roll consistency was awesome, shells nice and crispy! Voodoo fries were the big win. Covered in various sauces and andouille sausage. We will be be going out of our way to find them again! Seriously… try the voodoo fries.“

“I ordered for the first time from your establishment tonight. Just a simple steak mashed potatoes and side salad. It came just perfect. It’s perfect size for two meals for this older single lady. Actually four meals because I will get two lunches out of the salad and that means a lot to me being retired. I didn’t have to cook or clean anything up either. The steak was nice and tender, flavorful and I really appreciate not having potato peels in my mashed potatoes!! those were very good! I will be back. Thanks!“

“I tried the falafel burger basket at Beastro inside Sedgwick County Zoo. The burger was decent but not exceptional—while the falafel patty was flavorful, the overall combination with the bun and toppings felt a bit dry. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, which I enjoyed. Given the location and the convenience of grabbing a quick bite during a zoo visit, it's a decent option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The prices are a bit steep for what you get, but that's expected at a place like this. Overall, it's an okay choice if you're hungry while exploring the zoo.“

“Went to the Egg Crate for the very 1st time with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. The service was excellent as my drink was always topped of by the gracious waitress. The biscuit was delicious, especially when I smothered it in butter and jelly! The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy in the outside and perfectly tender on the outside. I especially loved the variety of sauces and dips from my fries! The meal was very filling as I ended up sharing my fries with my neices and nephews (as they were eagerly waiting for me to "throw in the towel" so they could gobble them up!) Along with the delicious food the atmosphere of the diner has a really cozy atmosphere with a lot of fun themed country style decor. I am looking forward to visiting the Egg Crate Cafe on my future visits from Colorado!“

“This place is great. The food is very delicious every time. Their portions are awesome for the prices. I enjoy that they do daily specials. My favorite part is that they are open late. I get off at 2am and they have been there and got me hooked up for the late night eats. I wish the hours were a bit more clear but I know it’s a 1-2 man show and they have lives. So it’s understandable. I’ve been here four times in the last two weeks and I’m typing this sitting in the drive through right now. Thank you guys for the good food.“

“It had been years since I have been to Longhorn and I feel really sad about not going back sooner because from the service to the food and the prices for the value you get are outstanding! One of the many steaks our group ordered was overcooked and they made it right… ASAP!! and the waitress said keep the overdone steak and have it with eggs in the morning. That is the way this restaurant does business. The manager came back to make sure the replacement steak was as expected and it was indeed perfect. Thank you, Longhorn! Yeeeeehawwwwww!!“

“OMG! Let me tell you about this experience after the last time I visited 2 different Spangles on N Broadway area (food poisoning on some onion rings somehow and the other restaurant for some reason didn't feel well after eating there ---- thus causing me not to eat at one of these establishments for a little over a year --- save for still getting my favorite orange juice slush drink until the large hit well over $5 alone and breaking my dining out drink budget).
HOWEVER, this Spangles restaurant was super clean, the folks here really put together and sharp hard workers! I order one of their best items in my opinion and it is their French fries for a snack. By the time I had my change in my hands they had the fries ready to go for me. I read loved the counter register operator. She truly lived up to one of Renee's TV commercials and should star in one! Her name was Akakia. Absolutely, wonderful personality and smart worker. She was one of the best employees I have seen in a very long time at Renee's establishments.“

“It really inspired me when Forrest Gump said, “Life is like a box or chocolates, you never know whatcha gonna get.” I’m a certified forklift operator and these guys asked me to drive them around on the forklift and they loved it so much that they bought their own forklift and it’s now sitting outside the restaurant. You all should come check it out and look. I ain’t from round here but Lord have mercy I’m gonna bust one when I get back home because I love Chili’s bro. “The food was good. The workers were efficient. My order was accurate. The only detractor was the large amount of flies in every window sill. My wife sat down while the rest of us were ordering and she had to move to the interior of the room because of the flies. As I was sitting, another customer with a young boy sat in the window and moved immediately. I looked around the room and all window seating was vacant but a dozen interior booths had people. I can only assume everyone had the issue with flies. I saw a UV bug trap by the corner, but it was near the ceiling about six feet from the closest fly. The flies stayed at the windows so we did not have a problem once we changed to an interior booth.“

We visited for at least an hour after eating (We live about 2 hours from each other), and the staff was very gracious to allow us to do that.
