“We have eaten here several times and have normally had good service and food. However recently I was sitting on hold for about 20 mins before I finally hung up and tried calling back. Which I could not as I'm guessing the phone was just sitting on the bar and all I got was the busy signal. I still recommend The Hive for its good food and usually good service, but wanted to share my most recent experience.“

“Aislyn is FANTASTIC! She is very attentive, friendly, and took the time to chat with me during lunch yesterday. She offered to help an elderly man out as he struggled to leave. What a sweetheart. She is gorgeous and very pregnant. I love that TP has supported her in continuing to work throughout her journey. Go see this momma and help her out!! ❤️“

Everything was cooked to perfection. Best Salmon Salad I’ve ever had in my life!! Good job, Wichita Red Rock!! The manager, Veronica, was so nice and checked on us, and our server, Drew, was on top of everything. We had a great evening. Bonus: good ranch dressing!!“

“We went for brunch and had a few dishes. I had the spicy porchetta hash and it was very unique, yummy and satisfying. Daughter had the most amazing French toast topped with a cinnamon icing and fruit. Husband had the steak frites sandwich. It was excellent but a little too juicy for my taste (bread got a little soggy towards the end). Overall, a very delicious meal. Can't wait to come back for dinner!“

Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. Our server, Flash was outstanding he was very friendly and personable. we had a good conversation with him aswell. our food was right on par and the presentation looked great. we fi shed our lunch with a giant sundae. “I am not from Wichita and I know Culvers from another state I used to travel too and I was so surprised when I seen there was a Culver's where I was passing thru, I have to give a shout out to Nate working one of the drive thru windows , he was such a please and took pride in his ability to help people with menu orders, very quick and thorough, I must say Nate is Great! The food was hot to order and tasted fresh, and the service was friendly to the end Robert hand delivered my order. I noticed this place seemed well organized, clean and an amazing team that handles the rush well with clean parking lot and friendly faces! Covered in various sauces and andouille sausage. We will be be going out of our way to find them again! Seriously… try the voodoo fries.“

“I ordered for the first time from your establishment tonight. Just a simple steak mashed potatoes and side salad. It came just perfect. It’s perfect size for two meals for this older single lady. Actually four meals because I will get two lunches out of the salad and that means a lot to me being retired. I didn’t have to cook or clean anything up either. The steak was nice and tender, flavorful and I really appreciate not having potato peels in my mashed potatoes!! those were very good! I will be back. Thanks!“

“Went to the Egg Crate for the very 1st time with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. The service was excellent as my drink was always topped of by the gracious waitress. The biscuit was delicious, especially when I smothered it in butter and jelly! The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy in the outside and perfectly tender on the outside. I especially loved the variety of sauces and dips from my fries! The meal was very filling as I ended up sharing my fries with my neices and nephews (as they were eagerly waiting for me to "throw in the towel" so they could gobble them up!) Along with the delicious food the atmosphere of the diner has a really cozy atmosphere with a lot of fun themed country style decor. I am looking forward to visiting the Egg Crate Cafe on my future visits from Colorado!“

“This place is great. The food is very delicious every time. Their portions are awesome for the prices. I enjoy that they do daily specials. My favorite part is that they are open late. I get off at 2am and they have been there and got me hooked up for the late night eats. I wish the hours were a bit more clear but I know it’s a 1-2 man show and they have lives. So it’s understandable. I’ve been here four times in the last two weeks and I’m typing this sitting in the drive through right now. Thank you guys for the good food.“

“This is some of the best service I have ever received. We had a blonde waitress and the girl at the front was also so incredibly kind!

My gma is 96 and has trouble walking and a bit of dementia. The employees were so kind and patient, the lady at the front running to get ahead of us to make sure the door was open for her walker.

Our waitress was so kind and worked with my gma and was so patient with her. She was also on top of her game.

The food here is always OK but today it was cooked perfectly it's just not my personal favorite, though it is still good.

Even if the food was terrible the amazing service I received and the kindness my gma received makes this a place I will keep coming back to for a long time.

If there was a way I wish the two employees we had on June 16 around noon would be able to receive recognition and honestly a raise for their incredible kindness and great work.“

“I tried the falafel burger basket at Beastro inside Sedgwick County Zoo. The burger was decent but not exceptional—while the falafel patty was flavorful, the overall combination with the bun and toppings felt a bit dry. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, which I enjoyed. Given the location and the convenience of grabbing a quick bite during a zoo visit, it's a decent option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The prices are a bit steep for what you get, but that's expected at a place like this. Overall, it's an okay choice if you're hungry while exploring the zoo.“

“I love this location but the last 3x I have come here at night... I usually get a hot fudge malt. NO MILK! A malt should be thick. And every single time they put milk in it and with the heat of the fudge it turns to sweet chocolate milk. There is no ice cream. Gone. Please somebody teach them to listen to the customer! 8/20/26“

“This store does a pretty good job at keeping up with orders and gets them right the first time. Love their mini grocery store when I am in a pinch for milk, tv dinner or fresh fruit. However, there is often a long line between 12 to 4pm every other day or so. They are popular.“

“Trina was my Bartender/Server for an interesting evening where the Highschool Cast of the One Act Play gathered for a pre-show dinner. Me and my kiddo showed up early and Trina was on point the whole time. Getting me tea refills and chatting with us the whole wait. Then the other students showed up and my kiddo joined her friends. Someone had an entire table of Highschool Thespians and handled it all with style. I ate at the bar with Trina taking great care of me...she even checked in on the kiddos and reported back on their behavior so I didn't embarrass my kiddo. The food was excellent and came out promptly! The Service was absolutely above and beyond and started off an evening with Highschool plays, a brief tornado break, and a great evening with my family in the totally best way! “Went there to get 2 all you're gonna eat. The first order of ribs was warm at best and The French fries. But the double crunch shrimp and boneless chicken were superb. The server Julie was superb, Making sure that everything was okay. The kitchen needs to make sure that they're serving hot food. Don't have any photos because I ate it all.“

“I go to IHOP every Sunday after church, and it’s become a favorite tradition. The spinach and cheese omelet I had last time was absolutely excellent, and they have great hot sauce. The best feature I love is that they’re open 24 hours. This franchise is excellent—no wonder Jensen Huang, one of the founders of NVIDIA, used to gather here with his colleagues in the Bay Area. I’ve been coming for about a month now, and every visit is fantastic. The food is amazing, the waitresses are really nice, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming!“
