“Order my normal order of 1 large pork fired rice, 1 orange chicken, 1 general chicken, 1 order crab Rangoon, 2 shrimp egg rolls. Everything came out fantastic like always. Food is wonderful and hot. Love coming to this restaurant because it reminds me of a little bit of home. You all step up on the food and I truly appreciate it.“

“It was the best Chinese food I've EVER had considering the fact that I've went to many Chinese buffet as a Chinese food obsessed person in the tri state area if KY, IN, and OH. The food was so delicious and the dumplings were SO worth every bite and every penny! Their dumpling sauce is also to DIE FOR! “This is mostly a take-out place. There's a few places I guess you could sit, but you'll be staring at a wall.

I got a large order of veggie lo-mien. It had a nice selection of vegetables, and wasn't too sweet, salty or oily like so many Asian places have gotten.

They asked if I wanted any sauces, which I appreciate, since I never do, and I hate unnecessarily throwing away the 12 - 20 packets that most places dump in the bag.

Parking: The parking lot is small, but you can park in the shoppig center lot right behind and take the steps down to the restaurant.“

“I go here at least once every week or every other week. The fried rice is the BEST and I will ONLY eat from this Chinese restaurant. The people that work there are very nice and I love the 2 ladies that work there. “This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“I have came here very regularly since I was a small child. They did change owners once, but they’ve always maintained great food, great service. They are very hard-working. They are very consistent. I have eaten at many Chinese food places around Louisville in my 32 years and a lot will honestly leave me disappointed and sometimes sick. Here I’ve always loved the food. I’ve always got great portions for good prices and the prices remain consistent over all the inflation through the years.“

“This place has been my go-to & favorite place for fast Chinese food! I've literally been a loyal patron of theirs for over a decade. They provide the kindest service and I've always treated us with the utmost respect. Service like this is dying out these days. You will always be greeted with a smile and warmed by it.As for the food in my opinion it's one of the best Louisville has to offer and they don't get enough credit for that!The restaurant is always clean and maintained with direct sight to the kitchen. The kids love to watch them cook.I hope they have many years ahead and prosperous ones at that! And China 1, if you ever read this, thank you for all you do!

“I have only had take out from here I have to give a neutral rating for atmosphere. I can say however is that the food and service are great. I normally get an couple of quarts of hot sour soup which I take home and eat on for a couple of days. I have had HS soup from a number of eateries across Louisville. This is the best; very thick, rich and chunky.“

They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. They called to say they would be very late because they were backed up and they were very nice about it. They always treat me nice. They put in coffee news when I ask. I always get delivery. “This has been our favorite chinese restaurant for many years. They hace the BEST crab rangoon around! However, recently we have been getting served the wrong food. Which is extremely annoying. My husband has an allergy to some meats, so when we order one thing and get a different meat in our order, that is both concerning, & frustrating. I greatly hope that this stops and never happens again. But with this being the second time In a row that it has happened to us, my expectations of this actually being fixed isn't high.“

They do not have shrimp with lobster sauce, but they have everything else, desserts, sushi, three buffet tables, lots of various shrimp dishes, chicken, beef, vegs, Hibachi. We usually stay two hours. Nice atmosphere, unlike Golden Corral which is incredibly noisy. Small senior discount.“

But I do have a complaint. All those years and I never got a single bad egg roll. But for the last 3 1/2 years. Every single egg roll has been very very bad one. Not really understanding why, but it has been 100% of all purchased egg rolls in about 6 or 7 visits, in 3 1/2 years. They are so dry and chewy at the same time. Always overcooked and not never perfectly browned. They used to be full of juice in every bite, and perfectly crisp. I would do anything for just one more of that classic chong garden egg roll perfection of the past. All other food, especially the crab Rangoon is always spot on each and every time. I just can't understand, what happened with the egg rolls. I keep holding out hope but it's starting to feel that I may never have that perfect chong garden veggie egg roll again. Which is extremely disheartening to even think about. Please get a new egg roll cook. It just isn't the same when you can't enjoy that perfect egg roll with your meal“

The orange chicken is made with real orange peel and tastes fresh not frozen and the rice is always tasty as well. They give a free soda with your order and the portion is great enough for 2 meals.
