“Had reservations for Valentine’s Day and they were overbooked. We waited an hour for a table and others with reservations were waiting out the door at 7:00pm and when we left at 8:30pm. Very noisy. Server didn’t bring the side I requested when ordered.“

Love coming to this restaurant because it reminds me of a little bit of home. You all step up on the food and I truly appreciate it.“

“Please note it's carryout only.
Clean, quiet, super friendly staff and fantastic food at good prices. Location on Southside can be a bit congested but you can sneak right out onto Strawberry for a light or a detour.
Will definitely be back. Pepper steak was awesome. Big menu. Recommended.“

I want the owner to know that Doordash didn’t let me tip and I didn’t have any cash, just some change, but I appreciate you 🫶🏻“

“If you are looking for a higher quality Chinese restaurant this is the place. Prices are higher, but the quality of meats are fully represented. They also have a Korean Menu if you ask and their dishes are amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want top tier food.“

“I ordered my food online. Super easy to order online great menu. The food was very good The service was very fast. One of the nicest Chinese restaurants that I've been to as far as doing fast food to go. The lady that waited on me was very sweet. They seem like a very caring business.“

“China Coast never misses. Everything is cooked fresh, correctly & full of flavor. The house special rice is a must. My whole family loves the wonton soup. Kiddos not feeling like nuggets? Get them a chicken teriyaki on a stick, just be careful with the skewer! I’ve been getting China Coast for 10 years now & the EXACTLY ONE TIME, my order was missing an item, I had it at my door in less than 12 mins. They’re good. They’re great people & it’s my favorite Chinese spot in the ville. 10/10“

“I’ve been eating here since there were Oscars and other fish in the wall! I’m talking early 2000’s, if you know you know. This place has always been the GO-TO spot! And if you like spicy, you MUST get that Hot Braised Chicken Combo Plate. They never disappoint, all the way down to their egg drop soup.“

“I have came here very regularly since I was a small child. They did change owners once, but they’ve always maintained great food, great service. They are very hard-working. They are very consistent. I have eaten at many Chinese food places around Louisville in my 32 years and a lot will honestly leave me disappointed and sometimes sick. Here I’ve always loved the food. I’ve always got great portions for good prices and the prices remain consistent over all the inflation through the years.“

“I'm going to be honest. I thought I was going to a place where I could street fight, like in the game. This was not the case. 🫤 However, the food was good. That's why I gave it four stars. But if you're looking for a place to street fight, I would go somewhere else.“

“I go here at least once every week or every other week. The fried rice is the BEST and I will ONLY eat from this Chinese restaurant. The people that work there are very nice and I love the 2 ladies that work there. All I do is call to place a to go order, give them my name, and they automatically know who I am and what I get is how often I go here 😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂. I would recommend to go here if you want to try some amazing Chinese food. They get 5 BIG STARS FROM ME 💜“

“We got honey chicken, broccoli in spicy garlic sauce, and lo mein. All were fresh and delicious. My only wish is that the broccoli was spicier, but it was still very hood. They also gave us free veggie rolls and they were great too! Portions and prices were good too. Very friendly atmosphere as well. This was our first time ordering from here, but it definitely won't be the last!“

“I would give a 3.5 if I could. This place is takeout only, so I went and placed an order. The owner’s young daughter took my order which was super cute. I got the sweet and sour chicken and the lo mein. The chicken by itself was pretty bland, but the sauce was good. The noodles were ok, but could’ve used a bit more flavor. Price is reasonable and service fast.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“I have never had a bad experience here. The family that run it are incredibly friendly and hard working. Tonight, I picked up a carry out order I made yesterday and it was only a light wait which was considering the really long wait times on Christmas. Fantastic service all around.
There was a lady who learned the hard lesson about getting Chinese food on Christmas Day, you need to plan ahead. She looked like she was about ready to scream because she couldn't get her food. Thankfully she kept from exploding.“

“Stopping through Louisville and from Denver. Stayed at a local hotel and this place does not disappoint. My wife and I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, egg roll, and fried wonton and all were delicious. Super reasonable pricing but then again, when you're from Denver, everything is super reasonable. I doubt if I'll ever be through Louisville again but I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I had hibachi. Very good. Not a fan of buffets but everything was clean and well stocked. They got me on tips though..I didnt realize they already charged me a tip automatically so I tipped them again being unaware of the new tip policy. They got an 80% tip which was alot for one plate of hibachi. Clean and kept drinks full.“

“There’s something special about a restaurant where you can feel the heart behind the food, and at Jasmine Asian Bistro, that heart is Lanlan. Her warmth and hospitality bring authentic Chinese flavors to the Midwest in a way that feels both refined and deeply personal and is delicious.
The fish entrée was perfectly cooked, tender, delicate, and beautifully balanced with fresh ginger and a light, nuanced sauce that enhanced rather than overwhelmed. It’s that restraint and confidence that make a dish memorable.
Jasmine is proof that authentic flavors, thoughtful technique, and genuine hospitality never go out of style. Louisville is lucky to have it (and her).“

“The food is Great! The food is Great because they cook the order as it comes in, So it is not as fast as other fast food pick up's. Still they do have a drive through. It is worth the extra 5 minutes for this food.
Kid-friendliness: They are very nice here!“

“I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food. Fresh carrots, celery, onions and Chinese vegetables. No frozen peas and carrots which is good. The Moo Goo Gai Pan had the fresh veggies listed above plus a decent amount of chicken breast in a mild sauce. The overall flavor was very good for this dish. Others who had the lo mein were also satisfied with their food. Egg rolls and spring rolls were good as well. Egg drop soup was okay. It needed something but not sure what.
Being Christmas evening the place was packed with people waiting for their orders. Nothing else open except Chinese restaurants. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my large order but it turned out to be worth the wait.
If eating there don’t expect much in the way of ambiance, although they did have an interesting large picture of the Great wall of China. They have canned sodas and water.
I will order from here again, along with my all time favorite, The Oriental House“

“Been coming here for years now, honestly one of the few places around that actually gives real portions of their food. I always have plenty of leftovers and extremely good flavor and seasonings to boot.
Seriously can't recommend this place and really hope they can get even more successful to get their own bigger building someday.“

“We met friends at this new restaurant and really enjoyed it. There is a small eating area, and it seems to do a good carry out business, too. We all ordered different dishes and each was prepared fresh and brought hot to our table. The Crab Rangoon was very good, and the steamed chicken and vegetables was, too. Won Ton soup was a full bowl and looked good. Rice was good, egg rolls- ok.\nThe staff seemed friendly and helpful, when ordering and serving. I would definitely go there again.“

“This place is bomb - the food is always great and the takeout containers are always filled to the very top. When I lived around the corner I ordered delivery like every week or two and I miss it! Now it's pickup after work, but they are always very quick to get your order filled.
I always get the egg drop soup, the Kung Pao beef is a personal favorite, and the crab rangoon is a must. (And so are the doughnuts seriously give them a shot who doesn't love fried dough coated in sugar??)“

“I have ordered probably 50 times by this time. They would know. They are amazing. They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. They called to say they would be very late because they were backed up and they were very nice about it. They always treat me nice. They put in coffee news when I ask. I always get delivery. I will always order from here. Food is amazing, it's not for everyone, but if you don't like it, go somewhere else. This is my favorite delivery chinese restaurant.“

“I love crab rangoon! This restaurant has the absolute best crab rangoon! Instead of the rappers being folded in half like triangles they're actually folded in quarters similar to a coin purse. This allows the rapper to hold much more filling! I have tried many other Chinese restaurants crab rangoon and nothing compares to Chong Garden! There is actually a Chinese restaurant a mile from my house and I will drive the 6 miles to Chong Garden to get their crab rangoon instead! Just once make the trip there and you will forever go back there for your crab rangoon I promise!“

“Excellent food and service. But it used to be Chinese you'd pay 5 or 6 bucks and have enough food to eat later. 2 people and 2 drinks was 35.00. 40 with tip... That was for gen tso chicken and beef fried rice and vegetables and 2 egg rolls 1 canned coke and a strawberry tea bobba. Just crazy hope expensive every thing is these days. I don't know how this younger generation is making it.“

“This has been our favorite chinese restaurant for many years. They hace the BEST crab rangoon around! However, recently we have been getting served the wrong food. Which is extremely annoying. My husband has an allergy to some meats, so when we order one thing and get a different meat in our order, that is both concerning, & frustrating. I greatly hope that this stops and never happens again. But with this being the second time In a row that it has happened to us, my expectations of this actually being fixed isn't high.“

“This is not fast food. They don't serve the salty, oily, super sweet American/Asian hybrid slop that the fast-food places tend to serve.
This a place to sit with friends and talk while you enjoy some good food. A large part of our conversation is usually about how good the food is.
They have a lot of choices on their menu, and they accommodated one of our parties' dietary restrictions without a blink. They let her pretty much make up her own dish (which after she described what she wanted, turned out to be almost the same as an item on the menu that she didn't see.)
The food is great. The service is great. The prices are reasonable.“
