“This is our go-to Chinese take out. The food is always good and both my wife and kids enjoy it. The kids get the chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken that they call Chinese chicken nuggets. The lo mein is flavorful and the noodles are tender. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy.

I got the beef with broccoli and pork fried rice. The beef was flavorful and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, still just a little crunchy and bright green.

My wife gets the bourbon chicken which is her favorite. It is delicious. She also ordered the cheese wontons (crab Rangoon) and they were crispy and full of filling. The pork egg rolls were good too.“

“We were passing through on a day off and stopped in for dinner. What a nice surprise it was. For people who tour for a living, a good meal on the road is priceless. Our server was so friendly and helpful and hilarious. We were welcomed with a smile and she made excellent suggestions.The Manager even stopped by our table, since we were a larger group, to check in to make sure everything was good. I can't remember the last time that happened. I think her name was McInney or McKenzie? The food was fantastic and it felt like a fun family dinner. It was refreshing to get good customer service and it seemed like the people who work there genuinely love it. Cannot recommend enough.

Literally, my wife’s napkin fell to the ground and after I picked it up, the lady who was the host to us seen it and brought her a new one. Drinks did not run dry, and every single member of the staff was helping out and conversing with us. The owner and chef even came out to shake my hand. What an absolute gem in Cincinnati. “The fried fish was so yummy and mouth watering, just an out of this world experience for me. We brought fried catfish and they were just excellent. I fell in love with the fried fish burger with tomatoes, onions. The only downside was that the fries were quite soft not the traditional crispy ones we would expect but I don't have that much to say against it. My only comment other than a positively lovely luncheon would be a large party sat in middle of restaurant with women (men at table too) half dressed all wearing black with black bunny ears. Not sure if it was a satanic celebration or something else. The sign on your door stated proper dress. This was sorely missed upon check in.“

“RUN-DON'T WALK! The food was beyond great, and the server was the most friendly Jamaican restaurant cashier I have ever met. I've eaten Jamaican food my entire life all across the country and have I yet encountered such a friendly staff. The oxtails were perfectly cooked. The rice and peas were moist and flavorful. The cabbage had hints of pepper and perfectly seasoned. The beef Patty, which to me was my favorite part of the meal was made fresh and you can tell! The price was a bit steep. “I’ve been there many times and anytime I have out of state guests we always take them there! And when guests return, the first thing they ask is “Can we go to that Knotty place on the hill to eat”. Now we call it the Naughty Place on The Hill because every meal is amazing, crab boil and the naughty Bloody Mary is well amazing and Naughty! Staff is amazing as well!“

Wildweed pulls it off to the highest degree. This was a meal that will stick with me for a long time. Bravo to the entire team (FOH and BOH), all stellar. “My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Riley, was very attentive and kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. We had the calamari, ceasar salad, prime rib, and filet to eat and my boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan of the prime rib, but this place still earns 5 stars because of how good the rest of our food was! My steak was cooked perfectly, the smashed potatoes were SO good, and oddly enough they have the best croutons I've ever had. Definitely recommend and wr will be going back!“

“Where do I begin, of course I hit the floor and I have been to this casino many times and the floor has always been honest and fun.

But tonight I celebrated my 25th birthday and council and oak (the steakhouse inside the casino) did everything right. The teams professionalism, their humor, and knowledge of wine was nothing short of amazing.

My wine paired great with my streak, all 7 meals at the table were cooked to perfection. Since the GM was out on PTO Mr Mark was leading the ship and did a phenomenal job at it! The server Mr Gregory was also the best.

This is my 2nd time dining at council and oak, and it will not be my last time! My first time was a curated 5 course meal with wine pairings so I didn’t get the individual experience that you would at a birthday dinner. This time around I got the intimate experience and was not disappointed! Hard rock, I hope you take good care of the staff here. They are worth every penny!
