“i follow a blogger on youtube that travels the world. he is visiting Ethiopia and through watching it learned that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. This place more than exceeded my expectations of Ethiooian Coffee!!!! I will be visiting this place alot more.“

“I am a regular at the farmers market in Jeffersontown. first thing I do is head for the coffee get atleast 3 cups lol. Bought on of thier vikings mugs for my BF for fathers day. could not wait to give it to him a huge hit with him. the ladies that sell the coffee are super nice and knows what they are talking about.“

“I just tried this coffee for the first time and I have to say that I'm a fan. Not only does the coffee taste amazing but the service was equally as amazing. The only thing I didn't like was that the music was so loud I had trouble hearing the girl that was taking my order but I will gladly trade a little loud music for the top-notch service and tasty drink!“

“I have become a regular of the Bardstown Road location in Louisville. The coffee and the food is always consistently good but It is the constant, great customer service that keeps bringing me back. I wish I could send this with all of the staff names that treat me so great but unfortunately, I do not know all of their names. Jess is one that truly stands out. Even if she is not working the window, if she hears my order over the speaker she makes it a point to say, hey. It is obvious that she is sincere about making sure the customers have a great experience.“

“Really nice selection of whole beans for home coffee enthusiasts. The baristas are well-trained and consistently pull good espresso shots. They even pour pretty latte art for steamed milk drinks which is a great sign that the baristas know their craft. I love their The Alchemist latte with its bit of cayenne to add just a little heat; perfect for cold weather!“

“Having an awful morning, my dads dying and I was crying in the drive through today on Father’s Day and Tony taking the order was beyond kind and made me a special drink and Ana (Anna) not sure but I was told she was the one who wrote a very kind message on my cup. These two will make me go back to this location hands down. Scooters who? Heine brother who? These two at this location are absolute angels.“

“My barista Abby really made my visit something special here. She made me a peppermint iceburg (something that was not on the menu) and quickly but was really friendly and she upped the size of my drink for me and let me use my rewards credit to pay for it so it was no charge to me. Thank you Abby for going above and beyond for me. You are awesome.“

You can tell it’s been crafted with care, and every item I’ve had here has been wonderful - keeps me coming back over and over. Quality is barr-none. “This is our favorite Starbucks in the East End, Middletown area. The staff actually get to knowledge customers, make suggestions and appreciate their customers. Andrew, the Manager, is a friendly person that knows how to hire train and motivate a great team Love the place!“
