“I have been down on McDonald's for awhile now. Decided to stop in because I was in a hurry. I'm glad I did. The service was fast and the food actually tested good. Big Macs used to be my favorite, but at most places they are just bland. Not today. It was perfect. All my food was. Even called to thank them for it. Would definitely go back to this location.“

“The place maybe not that big, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Owners go above and beyond to make customers feel at home. Every dish I've tried so far has been delicious, and the "Carne en Vara" is the best I've had in years. The only thing missing is draft beer, but aside from that, I absolutely love this charming Venezuelan spot in the Heart of Louisville.“

“One of the best experiences I had all day like a hungry caniac starving ready to eat my arm off the cashier Lou greeted me in a happy-go-lucky mood ready to get a order going full of energy and very friendly I had to get the manager just to praise Lou ! I always get consistently good service on Dixie highway at this raising Cane's I have never ever had a issue a messed up order or even left the parking lot irritated and that's easily done with me! My only problem with the franchise of raising Cane's is the fact that southern Indiana does not have the first they're everywhere else they are delicious and I crave it sometimes do yourself a favor and put one on veterans parkway!!!

“If you ask to remove anything from your order, expect to get it anyways from this location. I requested to not have the jalapeno sauce or granola included and not only do they lut it in anyways, they doubled it this last time! 😂

If you need utensils with your meal, chances are you either wont get them (usually my experience) or you'll get the wrong kind. I got a spoon instead of a fork this time. 😂

“Five Guys has always been one of my go-to spots when I’m craving a really good, no-nonsense burger. The quality of the food is top-notch — the beef tastes fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked to order every single time. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, from the soft, buttery buns to the crisp lettuce and fresh-cut tomatoes. The customization is a big plus too; being able to load up your burger with as many toppings as you want makes every visit a little different and always satisfying.

The fries are another highlight. They’re hand-cut, served piping hot, and come in huge portions. I love that they give you that extra scoop in the bag — it feels like a fun little bonus. And if you’re a fan of milkshakes, theirs are rich, creamy, and worth the indulgence, especially when you mix in toppings like bacon or peanut butter.

The only real downside for me is the price. While the food quality is excellent, it can feel a bit expensive for what’s essentially a burger and fries meal. I would suggest painting arrows on the pavement or putting up a sign to help clarify the flow of traffic when being asked to pull around.“

“One of the items I got from there today was a large strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was literally sour. I spoke with Makayla Bishop. She said she put my name down for a free large milkshake, but said that was the only option. She was friendly about it, but I could not imagine serving someone a sour milkshake, and telling them the only option was to try another one of our milkshakes. I think if I buy a soured milkshake from your company, and I want my money back, because I will never buy another milkshake there again, I should have that option. She did say that she made the milkshakes fresh today. but that doesn't mean that it wasn't sour. This is a really poor business practice, especially for a two-star restaurant. You need to start listening to your customers. I think she handled it the best she could. but there are obviously unethical people telling her they can't give money back, even if they are served inferior products. Due to your unethical policy, I will be reporting this incident to the health department. You really think I want a free milkshake? I came for good service, not replacement food. y You policy suggests that you think you are doing someone a favor by replacing dangerous food that you serve. I only visited, because my son wanted a milkshake, and now he said he will never want to go there again either.“

“Literally the best dairy Queen in louisville, maybe the best one in the entire state. Service is always incredibly fast, and the food never tastes like it's been sitting out or was overcooked. I literally drive out of my way to go to this location anytime I want dairy queen, they are fantastic.“

“Order my normal order of 1 large pork fired rice, 1 orange chicken, 1 general chicken, 1 order crab Rangoon, 2 shrimp egg rolls. Everything came out fantastic like always. Food is wonderful and hot. Love coming to this restaurant because it reminds me of a little bit of home. You all step up on the food and I truly appreciate it.“

“We have been enjoying the fish from this Moby Dick location for many years. For the first time today we were somewhat disappointed. Imagine my shock when I unwrapped our Whale of a Sandwiches and discovered the very small fish fillets. Two pieces were no more than 2/3 the size of the bread and very thin. Only one of the 4 fish fillets among the 2 sandwiches covered the bread. All were thinner than expected. The prices have steadily gone up over the years, which I have no problem with. But, for the price paid, the fish should be significantly larger.“

“Came to LJS for dinner and it was quite the experience. We ate in the restaurant and the staff was totally unexpected. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl with no rice and the chef offered to prepare it with lemon and then they accommodated my lack of rice appropriately and unexpectedly. The people who took the order were very friendly and attentive and three different people checked on our experience while we were eating. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Recommended. Everyone who has finished eating and left (about 5 people) have rung the bell, and I will too.“

“I went into this Fazoli's to place a to go order at about 6:45 this (Wednesday) evening. They were really busy with drive thru and carryout orders.
I stood back and waited for my order and watched this staff just kill it.
How they took care of the dining area and dealt with all of the drive thru and pick up orders was above board. And the new hire on the front line, I believe Eliot was his name, he did very good under pressure.
How the staff coordinated with each other was superb. Management should be damn proud of this crew!“

“Food was ok. I wish every gyro that ordered turned out the same each time. It's either the right amount of meat or too much sauce, veggies and barley meat. The cheeder sandwich used to be my favorite but it's never hot anymore and it tastes odd.“

“I was in the area for work, and this place comes up on some lists for best burger, but they have other food including burritos. I ordered one, and they put what I wanted in it, and it rivals LaBamba's in Indianapolis for being as big as your head. You'll want a fork and knife to eat it.

It was delicious. Toppings were fresh and plentiful in variety and what they put in the burrito. I got the meal which comes with a side and drink. You could get a big bag of nachos or fries to go with it, and I went with fries. They can put salt, or several other flavors on them, and I chose cheese (I believe they call it queso) which was good, but wasn't what I would chose for fries. The drink is a rather large fountain drink, although they had run out of diet while I was there, so they gave me a 16oz bottle of Diet Coke.

Service was great. Both people working were friendly and helpful. I'm not 100% sure why this place gets so many 1 star ratings, but I saw no logical reason for them in my visit.

Since my work brings me to the area once every month or two, I'll have to drop by to try the burgers and nachos sometime later. Would highly recommend.
