We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. “My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! “This is my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The service and food is always on point. I get the garden hash for breakfast and either the scallops or the mushroom pasta for dinner. I love the ambiance in there as well. They have a nice outdoor area and they have areas you can rent out for parties. Highly recommend.“

“My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Riley, was very attentive and kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. We had the calamari, ceasar salad, prime rib, and filet to eat and my boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan of the prime rib, but this place still earns 5 stars because of how good the rest of our food was! My steak was cooked perfectly, the smashed potatoes were SO good, and oddly enough they have the best croutons I've ever had. Definitely recommend and wr will be going back!“

“Empress chili is where it all started. You have Empress to thank for Cincinnati chili. Had to go to the last remaining one open. Coneys were my favorite menu item. Glad to see chili pizza on the menu and interesting takes on classics like chili and spaghetti coneys. They also had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a variety of sandwiches. The building itself was very large inside and very clean. I was surprised how nice it was. Awesome restaurant, definitely check it out and pay your respects to a chili legend.“

“Spare-Time Grill is the definition of a hidden gem. From the outside alone, you can tell it’s something special — that cute, old-school diner vibe with the vintage sign just pulls you in. It feels nostalgic in the best way.

The food absolutely delivered. The burnt goetta was the star of the plate — perfectly crispy on the outside with so much flavor in every bite. The eggs were fluffy, the home fries were seasoned and cooked just right, and those pancakes were golden, buttery perfection. Everything tasted homemade and comforting.

But what really made it stand out was the service. Everyone was so genuinely kind and welcoming — we felt right at home the entire time. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they care about their customers.
