The food is great. I've had leftover takeout from family, but nothing beats dinning in. The food is extremely fresh and the servers are very attentive. The music is the perfect volume and the atmosphere is comforting. The menus have indicators of spice level and the food comes out in a timely manner. They a menu for Sichuan cuisine and a menu for more basic American Chinese food if you are feeling less adventurous. The pig Intestines are delicious. 10/10 would go again. My only grief is I don't like their drink products. (Pics from when I went in May)“

“We placed a pickup order that was scheduled to be ready in 30 minutes. When we arrived, we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for our order. The kitchen seemed to be running behind, even though the restaurant didn’t appear to be particularly busy.

They may want to consider increasing staffing on weekends, when things can get busier, especially with the volume of to-go orders.“

“01/15/25: I work down the street and a co-worker and I went and ordered takeout. fast, friendly, fair and & DELICIOUS!!! The attendant hand you a ball and points you towards the bar and you can add whatever you want to your bowl and then they cook it up in front of you with your choice of brown rice white rice fried rice or noodle! The prices is based on the weight. $7.99 per pound. for the two of us, we spent $22. y'all don't sleep on this place!“

We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! Clean, quiet, super friendly staff and fantastic food at good prices. Location on Southside can be a bit congested but you can sneak right out onto Strawberry for a light or a detour.

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“Friendly staff. They have dine in available but the bulk of their business seems to be take out orders. With the amount of door dash order pick ups they had while my family and I were eating, I knew the food would not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the lo mean and my daughter her orange chicken.“

“These guys never miss. 54 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals, and a block! I’ve been ordering from here since 2004 and it’s still just as good as 20 years ago. They need to go back to their old egg rolls though but they still get an A++ from me.“

They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. Best Mongolian Beef in town BY FAR, and I've sampled Chinese restaurants across the city. The menu is expansive; hard to imagine someone who likes Chinese food being unable to find something to eat. The food comes in generous portions, and the restaurant presents a very clean, orderly atmosphere. Servers are quick to respond, and very courteous ....we have never been disappointed by the service here. Prices are very reasonable. We are going back this week for a late Father's Day dinner to celebrate my becoming a grandfather!“

“Happy Dragon is the best Chinese food I have found in Louisville. I have to travel around the city often for work, and I'm always excited when my work brings me to Taylorsville Road, since I know it means I'll get to have some great food. Try out the Bourbon chicken, bamboo chicken, or ask for an extra spicy combo lo mein, you won't regret it. The only bad thing about this restaurant is it makes all the places near my side of town taste so bad in comparison. Seriously, I've tried bourbon chicken at a dozen places in Louisville, and no where else can even come close.“
