In my opinion, this is the best restaurant downtown. This restaurant is reasonably priced and good authentic Louisiana cuisine. You can get a meal combo of fried catfish or shrimp salads, sandwiches, poboys or seafood platters for around 15$. Food is great and staff is friendly and food should check it out!“

“What a fabulous place to enjoy lunch! My sister and I shared the crab cake sandwich and the Creamy Tasso Pasta with blackened shrimp. Every bite was excellent! We also had the soup of the day - Butternut squash with crab - also so delicious & full of crabmeat!“

The fish strips nearly fall apart in your mouth, lightly battered, crisp outside n jucy center.. so delicious, you could say they are cooked to perfection. However, the actual size of each strip the fish is cut into...rather small. Nonetheless still 100% pleased with my purcase, if i HAD to come up with a food related aspect to complain about, the size of the catfish strips is honestly all I could come up with. On the other hand if we are speaking on service, the cashier wasn't of much help, After voicing outloud it was my first time trying Johns i expected some sort of suggestion or recommendation however I barely even got a response from the young lady whom looked up from her phone only for a brief moment which is when she handed me a print out version of the menu I was point at when I was attempting to ask a question about the menu.. but all together I was pleased and will be coming back!!
