We ordered the chicken fried steak dinner and Colorado omelet with hashbrowns which were exactly as ordered, surprised we're somewhere the food looks exactly as the menu!!.. Highly recommend for a reliable, delicious weekend breakfast or dinner!..Our server (CeCe) hope correct spelling but was very sweet, attentive, and accommodating. IHOP is great not just for pancakes, but for great service and phenomenal food!“

“A good hamburger at Dixie Made Drive-In in Baton Rouge Louisiana. The burger was more than a handful with fresh toppings. Fries were good. I understand they were picked the best burger in Baton Rouge. I am not sure how that is selected as a Whopper from Burger King is an excellent burger. Happy for Dixie Made receiving the designation. I recommend giving Dixie Made a try and share your thoughts.“

“My food was excellent ! I live in the neighborhood and wish I would have explored this place sooner. I came here for restaurant week and had the sensation salad, ribeye, and tres leche. I was no disappointed I spoke to the owners while there and they were sweet. The man even opened the door when I was coming in and asked me how I was doing and engaged in conversation. I was impressed. My server was sweet but not too attentive. I sat there for a while before she came over to ask me if I was okay in which I was not lol 😀. I needed more dressing. They were not busy but she was just not attentive but it's all good. Overall I would be back and I do recommended.“

“Thai Pepper is my go to place for Thai food. I always get the tom yum soup, pad thai with chicken and tofu, fish curry with tofu and basil fried rice with chicken. Reasonable prices, friendly staff.“

“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. You are going to be an awesome mom. You are full of light and love. May God bless you abundantly.“

“I was greeted by Lady J. They make really fantastic grilled shrimp dinner plates and po-boys. The bread is fresh and soft for a well dressed sandwich. “April 24, 2026. It had been almost 7 years since I last had Ronnie's smoked boudin. I think about it almost weekly. We live up in GA now and can't get boudin up here. I called and asked if they ship. They said they do, and I knew it was time to order. I placed an order for 15 lbs of smoked boudin. The shipping was $118, the boudin $159. 100% worth it. She took my order, and the next day they sent me the shipping info. It came the following day. The boudin was shipped frozen, and in a styrofoam cooler, with some dry ice. Packed into a secure box. When I unpacked it, the boudin was still frozen solid. I let a pack defrost overnight and cooked it today for a late lunch. The house smelled heavenly while it was heating up. It tasted marvelous, and I look forward to eating a pack each month. Thank you for making it completely easy to get my fix.“

We split the house special, “Red Fish Pontchartrain,” and it was so intensely flavorful and artfully presented we could immediately tell the chef learned his trade in New Orleans. We splurged on another house special for dessert, the “White Chocolate Bread Pudding,” and were again amazed by the quality of the dish, a perfect balance of pillowy caramel and subtle sweetness. Five stars for the food; hard to find in Baton Rouge. Please forgive the eager waitstaff for they are still learning the ropes, and the bar could stand to improve the wine list. We will be back. You should try it too.“
