“Mykala is by far one of the funnest servers we've had. She explained the BINGO game the servers were playing for Tini Tuesday and we were more than happy to oblige and play the game. Everyone that comes here should request Mykala as their server.“

“Stopped in for some amazing food with my brother and mom on a Thursday evening and I was craving catfish. Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. Indonesian noodles were excellent. I got the lasagna to go and it looks beautiful. I was not expecting to find vegan lasagna in Baton Rouge! Staff is great and it’s a nice sit-down spot. “Cheba Hut is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions are pretty generous and they pile on the toppings. The atmosphere is fun if you are 4/20 friendly or even just like music and movies, etc. I would highly recommend giving Subway and Jimmy John's a break and trying Cheba Hut for a different experience. You won't be disappointed!“

“Mezitos Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — everything we ordered was outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better.

What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Blake. He was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed and really added to an already great meal.

“So happy to find this place. We just moved here from Texas and was afraid I could find a good thai restaurant. I tried a few in Baton Rouge and this is the place. The food is flavorful and so good. Some plates are different than some I've tried but they are very good either way. I got hot level on my drunken noodle and it was spiiiicy. Love it though, I recommend mild so you can enjoy your food lol. I was just craving spicy so I took on the challenge and it was what I was expecting. The rice was so flavorful my wife and daughter loved bothering the rice and soup.“

“A good hamburger at Dixie Made Drive-In in Baton Rouge Louisiana. The burger was more than a handful with fresh toppings. Fries were good. I understand they were picked the best burger in Baton Rouge. I am not sure how that is selected as a Whopper from Burger King is an excellent burger. Happy for Dixie Made receiving the designation. I recommend giving Dixie Made a try and share your thoughts.“

Cut me off. Made rude facial expressions and Slick comments. As a person in the restaurant business. I know some days aren’t the best. Inside or out side of work. But No one deserves to be treated a certain way because it’s a “bad day” . It hasn’t just been 1 time either. Also seemed like the other employees are used to her behavior. Love the food. “The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“
