“We stopped in on our was from Texas to Alabama. The store was great! Clean, well organized, items not found just anywhere.

I stopped specifically for the pork cracklins. While the flavor was good, not overly spiced, they were fried extra hard, to the point I thought they would break my teeth.

I'm definitely going to give them another chance, hoping this was an unusual occurrence. I also want to try the chicken cracklins.“

Anyway ima tell a story about my pain when trying to play ping pong, ok so me and my dad where at the worlds second largest Marriott very cool place 10/10 but I wanted to play sum ping pong so I went down to the pool but there where people playing so me and my dad went up to our room. The next day we went to go get breakfast and when we came back, the same two people where playing ping pong now thing is they aren’t GOOD they aways miss the ball like how can that be fun. The NEXT DAY THEY WHERE STILL PLAYING PING PONG I hope this was long enough.“

“WOW! We went yesterday to celebrate our 19th anniversary and let me just say that everything we tried was delicious. We had the jalapeño duck poppers, dozen of charbroiled oysters, I had The seafood pasta and my husband had the seafood platter and everything was amazing and so flavorful. Our waitress surprised us with a lemon blueberry cake that they wrote Happy Anniversary on. That made us feel so special. Great environment! Clean and service was outstanding. Thanks again. The one hour and ten minute drive was worth it. We will definitely be back.“

It seems to be a popular spot, especially among locals and older patrons looking for a quick and affordable lunch.

I opted for the shrimp po' boy, which was decent and flavorful. I'd rate it a 3.75 out of 5. My husband tried the fried pork chop special. Although it had good flavor, the pork was a bit dry, so we would rate it a 3.25 out of 5.

The standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the friendly and welcoming staff. They were attentive and added a pleasant touch to our dining experience. While the food had its ups and downs, the overall atmosphere and service made it a worthwhile visit.

“Boiled shrimp are excellent .. and get this .. sold without the heads (extra weight) .. perfectly boiled, right amount of seasoning, not a long wait, actually very satisfied even would go as far as to say .. pleased .. !!

Parking: The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired .. and I mean A LOT .. cement getting in and out of parking lot on both entrances/exists are broken up and washed out due to water erosion and omg the entire parking lot is one big pot hole .. can't tell if the business was built around the pot hole or if the pot hole was built around the business .. kinda like a molt (look it up .. molt)“

“During our dinner today we had a medical emergency and the staff acted very quickly. This was a scary moment for us as my aunt needed immediate medical care and the staff did not hesitate to help. They went above and beyond by packing up our food while we worked with EMS and continuously checked in making sure we were okay.
This could have come off as an inconvenience or a problem but instead the staff stood up and helped out.
Our family will forever be thankful for the kindness and compassion offered by the staff.
