“Great Vietnamese food and excellent service! I love that we have this in Gentilly. Everything we had was delicious and freshly made. We started with the Grilled Pork Bun (amazing, great sauce) and the Lemongrass Wings (huge, very crispy, and great flavor). We also got the Pho Tai (great broth) and the Bun Bo Hue (great depth and spice). I’m already planning what I want to try next time.

The service was excellent and the owner came out to check how everything was and tell us about the restaurant. Definitely recommend!!“

“Food was genuinely good and we enjoyed the meal, but the experience took a disappointing turn at the end.

When it came time to pay, we left an 18% tip, which is a standard and fair amount. However, the waitress confronted us and said the minimum tip should be 20%, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Tipping should always be optional and based on the customer’s experience—not something to be enforced or demanded.

It’s unfortunate because the food was enjoyable, but this interaction left a negative impression and overshadowed the overall experience. I hope management addresses this, as no customer should feel pressured or insulted when paying their bill.“

“I love Pho Nola! I work in the area and I always call ahead and order my food for my lunch time for quick pick up. They are always so nice and accommodating. The Soup Sandwich combo is my go to. My food is always so hot and fresh and ready to go and my drink is always made fresh quickly in front of me. Thank you so much!“

“This place is located in Caesar’s, so you’ll need your ID (21+) to get in. Much needed on a chilly night, and craving for hot soup. It is a little pop-up shop only on the weekends apparently. The soup was spot on (Vietnamese myself lol) and the noodle were a bit overdone but still good. It is understaffed so be patient. Would recommend as it was the only pho area within 1 km distance. Wish this place gets the recognition and has its own restaurant in this area someday.“

“I had the tenderloin and oxtail pho and if it wasn’t for the slow service I would have given this restaurant 5 stars. The broth was full of flavor and the meat was fresh and very good quality. The ox tail was melting off the bone. The restaurant was very clean and staff was very nice just very laid back. It is a little pricey however the quality is well worth it.“

“The best pho and spring rolls I have ever had. I have lived all over, and Jazmine Cafe takes the cake when it comes to Vietnamese food. No Vietnamese restaurant in NYC or elsewhere has compared to Jazmine Cafe. Every time I travel back to New Orleans, a meal here is a must. Thank you for the delicious food. “This is the best pho in louisiana. Broth is perfect flavor, look at that color! They also give a lot of meat. Rice dishes are also good, I like the porkchop. Also the hidden gems are the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper shrimp. The flavor for these dishes are called rang muoi in vietnamese. Service is nice and straight to the point, that’s how you know the food is good“

“Pho Sunrise offers a truly authentic menu. I have lived in Saigon and enjoyed Vietnamese Cuisine in many places. Pho Sunrise brings back wonderful memories like hopping on the motor bike with my wife and stopping for a delicious bowl of Pho while on the way to the market in Saigon. The family who owns and operates this restaurant is customer service oriented and very friendly. I am from Biloxi and working in Kenner for a few weeks.
