“My family and I stopped by Sam’s Southern Eatery while visiting LaPlace, and let me just say — everything was spot on! The service was warm, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food… absolutely impeccable. Where do they find these people? Pleasant workers are hard to come by these days! It was so good the first time, we found ourselves back there the very next day! The catfish was fried to golden perfection — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The Philly cheesesteak was seasoned just right and packed with flavor, and the shrimp were large, juicy, and downright delicious. To wash it all down, do yourself a favor and try their hibiscus tea and lemonade mix — the perfect refreshing balance of sweet and tangy. Overall, Sam’s Southern Eatery earns a solid 10/10 from us.
