“On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.”

“I stumbled upon this place because I was staying at a hotel down the road. I was working at a turnaround nearby and after work I was looking for a place to have a good meal. Little did I know entering this place I would not only find a good meal but I would also find great friends as well. The staff of young men and women greeted me with a friendly smile and great attitude as soon as I walked in and Jane was very kind polite and very friendly. Instantly I felt like I was an old friend returning back home hanging out at the local restaurant. The food was amazing and the portions were very filling enough to have left overs for the next day, but I left none for the next day. lol. The salmon is so good that my 11 year old daughter loved it. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the ribeye steak is very very good. So if you’re looking for great food and a family friendly atmosphere this is the place. And tell them Michael sent you.”

“My husband and I along with our 14 month old grandson stopped in today for lunch. It was a spur of the moment decision, we were passing by and I said it had been awhile since we’d eaten Philay’s, so let’s go eat there before his doctors appointment. I am SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family and were sat quickly. The ladies were so sweet to our grandson, talking about how cute he is and he was even given some fries to tide him over until the food got there. He’s a hungry growing boy for sure!! There was also an older couple seated next to us who were the nicest people. Our grandson LOVES food and lets it be known by how loud he NOM NOM NOM’s his food. He definitely kept them all entertained, they couldn’t get over how loud he was enjoying his French fries 😅😂 It will not be as long until we come back next time because of how welcoming everyone was today. “Fast & friendly service. The food is delicious!! We have gone through the drive-through once a week for the last four weeks, and now weekly have to have our chicken salad chick fix. The Pimento cheese is awesome. Also the chicken salad with the cranberries. The broccoli salad is great, and the grape salad is wonderful. It also feels like a healthy meal. This has quickly become my favorite place.”

“This is my favorite coffee shop by far! I love staff and service SO much, and I come here everyday. Most staff members know me by name now. This is why it pains me to write this, but I am disappointed. There is one employee named Sydney who ALWAYS messes up my order (the same one I get every single day) and then she always has an attitude about fixing her mistake. For example, I always get a flat lid on my VENTI drinks..and I ALWAYS say it at the speaker. I order my usual, flat lid and venti and I get a big lid in a tall cup? So I simply express that’s not what I ordered and that I needed the bigger size with a flat lid. After this, the lovely window lady tells Sydney the problem and Sydney chose to yell loud enough for me to hear her that “she needs to say that at the box” like excuse me? How unprofessional, wrong, and INCORRECT. Every other order taker is so lovely and even writes my name on the cup because they know my order so well. I expressed to Sydney that I DID state my entire order at the box and she ignored me. Her solution to making my drink the wrong size was to pour the smaller drink into a bigger cup and add ice with more cold foam. This is unacceptable..especially on a Monday morning at 7am. This is the second time Sydney has completely messed up my order and had an attitude about it, thus my review.”

We got seated quickly, I got a double drink, it was made amazing. the chips were fresh, salsa was good, food was great and come out fairly quick. they had a band there that was really good. “Love the pizza!! I had an emergency for a lunch meeting we were hosting at a clients lication. The place we ordered lunch from wasn't answering their doors or phones 35 minutes before our meeting was supposed to start! Panicking i turned into Johnny's before they were even open...and they opened up, took my order, fired up the ovens and had me on my way with pizza to feed a dozen attendants at the meeting! That's AMAZING service! Forever grateful to Jihnny's in Gonzales!”
