“Most of the time it's just packed and takes a while to get food even when ordered 40min in advance (i always go during lunch hour). Staff is usually frustrated and overworked and tired. Most of the time they're fussing at each other behind the counter but the food comes out cooked and okay. Just be sure to check your items before you leave and order in advance if you're going in during busy hours. Wait time usually is 12min-40min the couple of times I've been there during lunch hours when it's busy.“

“My wife and I had a late evening hunger that needed to be craved. We had a taste for chicken, and Gus was our second option. They stayed open at a great time to accommodate our hunger. Although we had a bit of a wait to sit down( there was a party of 28 people) so we were patient. The chicken was hot and fresh. Crisp skin, though I can't say that it was flavorful. It had a late kick of spice to it but the spice wasn't overwhelming. I want to try the tenders on my next outing and the greens.“

When the lady brought the bag to the table, I asked Ma'am is this the platter and she then replied load and proud Yeeeepppppp! Mind you, we paid aprox $70.00 for this heartburn and two drinks that tasted like over rated and highly sweetened suga water with a Lil color. Eat at your own risk and if you choose to do so make sure you have the anti acid pills close by along with some baby wipes to donate your platter to a better cause.“
“On our New Orleans trip, my fiancé and I snuck away from a work event to grab a quick bite and take it to the hotel we were in nearby. We saw this kinda hole-in-the-wall, Voodoo Chicken & I was sold - I freakin' love wings. We walk in and there are several people behind the food area, but nobody behind the bar. The sign says to order at the bar, not the food area. Okay, got it. We waited. And waited. And waited. And nobody is helping us. A gentleman mentions after we openly wondered whether we should leave that the woman was in the restroom. We said okay, got it, we'll wait. We waited. It wasn't obnoxious, but it did take several seemingly long moments for the lady to come out. When she did, though, we were treated to a lovely conversation about how many bones she's broken, and how her grandma hadn't woken her up from when she set a small fire in her kitchen. We traded war stories while they whipped up voodoo wings & king cake ice cream for us (they also have giant vats of daquiris you can take with you along the street, since they have open-carry laws, but we were too tired for all that). We took it to the hotel to eat, where my fiancé had reasonably good chicken tenders, I enjoyed my sweet-with-some-heat-at-the-end voodoo wings, and we polished off the very good, mildly sweet, kinda cinnamony king cake ice cream (not much in the way of chunks of king cake in it, just FYI). We ate and slept like babies right after. It was tough to compete with the other sensational meals we had but the wings were pretty damn bomb; I'll always remember them.“

“So normally I have a great experience here, fast service and friendly smiles but today was not the case.I gave my order and I guess the girl misheard me even though I repeated the order twice. I asked for a box combo with no cole slaw & an extra toast with no drink… she said the order back with a lemonadeThe guy at the first window was very nice and I can tell he heard my order because I heard him asking for someone multiple times to swipe their card to fix my order…. The guy was genuinely sweet and left the window closed but didn’t realized I heard everything. But when no one came he just charged me the 12.25…. And I can tell he felt guilty or looked nervous so I played it cool. I knew the guy knew I didn’t want a drink hence why I didn’t get a receipt….so I’m not mad or upset at him. “We drove from Killian to see our daughter and spend some time in NO. We had always wanted to try Dixie Chicken; so since we were in the neighborhood we stopped in for lunch. “I really love this location. Good food, great atmosphere. I personally think it’s one of the best Cane’s in the city. The staff is always courteous and ready to help. The facilities are always clean. Plus it stays open late. My only complaint is that they don’t offer free WiFi like so many other restaurants and they few electronic outlets if you want to stay a while and work on your laptop.“

“Raising Cane’s is my favourite chicken restaurant. The chicken fingers are cooked fresh and never frozen. The lemonade is really fresh and tasty and made in the unit from real fresh lemons. The staff is friendly and amazing. Food is prepared fresh when you order it and comes out fast. The special secret sauce pairs well with the fingers and fries. Cane’s specialises in chicken fingers and they do it right. Their tag line “One Love” is perfect and is present throughout your Cane’s experience. There were college kids there, (im a college kid myself lol) They were so loud, extremely childish & they wasted food and drinks EVERYWHERE.. In my opinion they should’ve been asked to leave, they were already busy yet with them being ignorant some employees had to stop to clean up their mess they wasted. The manager was very non problematic, and just simply got it done but can tell he wanted them to leave.. We decided to leave and finish eating at home. “Wings here are fire. Go for the Wuzzam and Sweet Heat. Wings were crispy, saucy, and delicious. Gets pretty busy though so be warned, there might be a wait. Also, not necessarily in the best part of town. Just be aware of your surroundings, or order online. Prices also are not the best but given the flavor, definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed.“

The tots are seasoned and drenched in cheese and jalapeños are to die for!!Only thing I would recommend urgently is that the place needs a deep cleaning. I know it’s a lot of fried food so the oil residue is everywhere and visible by look and touch.“
