“This is one of my favorite restaurants in town for food, service, atmosphere-everything! Yesterday I called in an order for work for about 20 people, and even though they don't open until 11, the manager worked with us and the kitchen and staff had the food ready right at 11, all labeled and nicely packaged. I love this place so much, I even bought a watercolor of the restaurant from the farmer's market. A true gem.“

“Went today for a late lunch. This was our first visit and definitely not our last. Our server Jessica went above and beyond to make our first experience the best we ever had. Food was amazing! The GM Lupe even came visit with us at our table. Best dining experience we have ever had!“

“All in all an amazing experience, our server, Patrick, is the best server my wife and I have ever had. He was super helpful, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. The food came out exactly how we wanted it to and he had us smiling and laughing the whole time. We hope Patrick is our server every time we go.“

“Went for our lunch today while out in town and was very disappointed. We really wanted some good charbroiled oysters and got garbage instead. Our oysters were served to us luke warm and didn't look or taste "charbroiled" at all. The stuffing that came on top of mine was cold in the middle and the sauce that came with it on the side was cold as well. Ive never in my life been served cold cooked oysters! Absolutely disgusting. Won't be back. Years ago when I came everything was good but now its a big no for me. Disappointed amd dissatisfied after this lunch. O and let me not forget to mention our waitress was very unattentive and never came check on us after we received our food. So that made the experience suck too!“

“Mandez’s is where we chose to have a much needed and overdue date night. Our waitress went above and beyond. We ordered the seafood nachos for an appetizer. Amazing! I ordered the crab cake dinner with a side of eggplant fries and a side salad with the pepper jelly vinaigrette. Crab cakes were flaky and cooked to perfection. Eggplant fries were crispy and not greasy. paired so well with the dip. Side salad was fresh , pepper jelly vinaigrette had the right amount of zing., and the pickled okra was the chef’s kiss! My husband ordered the shrimp basket and had no complaints. We loved that the dining area was small but well laid out. Great atmosphere! I can’t speak of the bathrooms because I didn’t need to use them while there. Definitely recommend!“

“Omg!!! To all my New Orleanians... I have stumbled upon a Hot Sausage gold mine that's made with Patton Hot Sausage. This place prepares the hot sausage the way we usually like it in New Orleans and the bread is not bad as well. They are a little pricey but well worth it. My family and I will surely make this a go to place from now on. I think all we need to convince them to do is add Big Shot drinks to their selection.“

“Abby, our waitress was the absolute best!! It was our first trip, definitely won’t be the last. The food was sooo good and kept us full. If you go there you won’t be disappointed. There’s something for everyone, even picky eaters like me. I’d 100 percent ask for Abby, and made our trip, our meal, and my birthday!! Thanks again Abby for constantly checking on us throughout the meal even though you had many other tables, you made us feel like your only customers!“

“I’m moving far away from this city and will probably never return, but yet I feel inclined to leave a review of this place because it’s THAT good. This will be the one place I will always miss, as it is the best food I had in Lafayette or anywhere else I ate at in my 2 years of living in LA (beats any Cajun, hamburgers Mexican, Italian, etc that I had here).
The quality is a 10/10, and their green sauce is AMAZING.“

“One of the hidden gems in Lafayette’s food scene! The Tom Yum soup is absolutely to die for, and we especially love the Hot Basil Fried Rice and Red Chili Fried Rice. The owners are so nice, and while we usually do pickup, the food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. Highly recommend!“

“We tried Central for the first time yesterday and were amazed at how delicious it was. The garlic knots were incredible, I think I’d go back purely for those. We tried the adult cheese pizza and it was awesome too.
