The service was top notch and because it’s a relatively small restaurant, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. Was only passing through NOLA for 1 night and there were so many great restaurants to choose from but I’m so happy I went with Dakar. It was one of my favorite meals ever!!!“

“We visited Russell’s Marina Grill while in New Orleans because my son is a huge fan of a musician whose family owns the restaurant. We already expected great food, but what we got was an experience we’ll never forget. Not only was the meal absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love—but the hospitality we received was above and beyond. My son got to meet the musician’s brother, who manages the restaurant, and he even came out to take a picture with us. My son was thrilled. But then the moment got even better: we learned that only three signed hats had been left at the restaurant by his favorite artist—and my son was gifted one. The look on his face said it all. It was a dream come true, and a moment he’ll carry with him forever. The staff was kind, warm, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience for their guests. “Food was good. I got the sampler platter and that was plenty (for me). The ensalada (salad) dressing was a little on the spicy side which was not described on the menu so I wasn’t expecting that so I ended up not eating it. Wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were good. Great place to go if you need gluten free food and like Colombian food. If you don’t need gluten free-you wouldn’t even know it. :)

“A charming little gem of a place with lots of history, Casamento's is a true old-school Louisiana seafood joint. We visited on opening day at the start of oyster season, and I couldn't have been happier with my meal. I had oysters 3 ways - raw, chargrilled, and fried, and everything was very fresh and tasty. The two daughters that are servers are super sweet, and very understanding of celiac disease/ the need to eat GF. Dedicated fryer is a big plus.

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

“I had an event for 50 High School students catered by Felipes and it was perfect. I ordered the Taco Bar and they hit a homerun. There was plenty of food - it arrived on time and still hot. The delivery person helped me get the food inside which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was there and there was enough food for some leftovers. The students all raved about how great the food was and how excited they were about the cheese dip and chicken tacos. The ordering process on the front end was easy - and the employee Samantha was able to help me adjust the order the day of the event. Outstanding service! A+ FOR FELIPES!“

“I love this bakery and café so much, it's a delicious and wonderful spot for a breakfast or lunch date. I love the food, and everything reflects great product quality. Their staff are always sweet and attentive. The prices are pretty fair for a vegan place in NOLA. This is a good spot to take family members visiting New Orleans! It always smells amazing. I frequently order here and I'm never disappointed.

“The Carmo salad was fresh with a delicious dressing. Daily rice and beans were perfectly flavored and extremely filling. I suggest splitting them so you can try more dishes!
Plenty of vegetarian options and they were happy to leave it off of other dishes if we wanted. The bread service was worth adding on too!

Lorraine’s interpersonal skills and attention to detail are like no one else’s . I sent the most creative and charming cake and cupcakes to Nikki for a special celebration…and not only did she ensure it was artistically designed and personalized to perfection, but she also wrapped it in cellophane and attached a gorgeous notecard. My girl received it less than an hour from when I placed the order and was blown away by the presentation. Nothing But Bundt Cakes earned my business today and certainly deserves to earn yours. FUN FACT:Coming in March this franchise will be opening up in my neighborhood.
