“We chose The Max to celebrate our son’s college graduation dinner, and I cannot imagine a more perfect place for such a special milestone. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. The manager (Jalen) and staff (Olivia & Jaden) went above & beyond to help us set up decorations prior to the dinner, helped answered all of our questions, checked on us throughout the dinner to make sure everyone was taken care of. If you are looking for a great place to have brunch, lunch or dinner consider The Max!!! You will not be disappointed!“

“Spent Super Bowl weekend in Lake Charles and ate here two days in a row! Service and food were fantastic! Shout to Classy! Staff raved about what a great manager he was and he was absolutely gracious and welcoming. Will definitely go back every single time we’re in Lake Charles!“

“Yesterday 3 -7-2026 we pick up a sack of live crawfish from Carlyss Boil & Go I must say the size of crawfish was well above average to say it’s early in the season. The customer service was AMAZING and the wait time was FAST. I am giving this place a 100% plus more. I will be back soon.“

“5 stars all the way! I went in on a day when the restaurant was out of crabs, and I was initially disappointed. Still, I wanted to support the establishment, so I ordered a side of oxtails. Baby… those oxtails were so good I almost finished them in the car. They were perfectly tender, the sauce was incredible, and the flavor was spot on. I will definitely be back for the crabs.“

“Last time the food wasn’t fresh tbh but this time they were really good...I'm going to this place for over four years n the food tastes still the same except few unpleasant moments...but their food is really good...one of the best seafood pace in lake charles...you should definitely give it a try if you're visiting lake charles...“
