“We were on vacation for one of our kids wedding The hotel we were staying at is located just in front of the restaurant What an amazing find to have this kind of food and wonderful atmosphere right around the corner of the hotel in walking distance Less than 5 minutes Can’t say enough about the staff from the hostesses to the servers and the wonderful chefs The 1st time we sat at the bar to watch the food being made which helped with selection 2nd time we sat at a table because we knew what we wanted Overall experience with my family coming to the restaurant is you’re missing out on one of the best kept secrets Absolutely delicious and wonderful meal From start to finish My Family & I want to say thank you so much for taking care of us and making us feel at home“

“Restaurant was about a mile from our hotel on St Charles. We should have made a reservation for a Saturday night (even though we ate on the later side). We ended up having to do first come first serve at the bar which was awkward as there wasn't really any place to sit and wait, especially as we had to box out others for our turn at the bar seats. However, once we were settled, the service was fairly quick and the food was good. The pasta especially was done well with just the right amount of heat on the rigatoni for me. I think they must make the pasta as it was also very fresh. I did find the lack of bread odd though. We split dessert, which was something we hadn't tried before, but it was good as well.“

“Wandered in because it was so pretty inside through the window, and sure enough, it was on the inside too! I didn't have much appetite but felt social and curious, so I sat up at the barter chatting with other guests and browsing menus. I eventually went with a couple drinks made by bartenders Will and Nick, who will steer you in the right direction if you ever find yourself clueless yet captivated at their bar.“

“My wife and I have really grown to love the Metairie Carrabba’s. When it originally opened years ago, we went once and were not impressed so despite leaving nearby we never went back. A friend mentioned it maybe 6-months ago and she swore it was pretty good so we gave it another chance and we are glad we did. We now maybe go 3 times or so a month. We had one problem with a server lately and I asked for a manager and Blake promptly solved the issue and took care of us the rest of the night. The food has always been very good, the service pretty quick and the bar service very good too. Our two favorite servers are Mel and Sara but with the exception of that one night the service has always been great too. I recommend Carrabba’s for a dinner for two or a small group of friends. Their “wine dinners” are also a hit for us. It’s nice to have somewhere close to home that you know is rock solid on the food & service. Thanks to Blake and his team!“

“I normally get half a muffaletta cut in quarters and save it for the flight back home the next day. They are incredible and I will keep doing this as long as I keep coming to New Orleans.
The place is small and it can get pretty loud, if you have someone with sense hearing (like me), remind them to bring earplugs.

Parking: Parking can be a bit tight on busy nights.“

Exceptional customer service. 1pm on Thursday, driving down St. Charles passing the time until I needed to be some place, passed this little gem and decided to pop in. I was immediately greeted and sat by Mr. Otis. Promptly bringing water. Mr. Georgio informed me of the availability of fresh softshells, and took my order. Sitting by the window watching the beautiful streetcars going up and down St. Charles. There was a few people in the restaurant but it was a whole vibe. Meal was fantastic. I watch a sweet older couple ask Mr. Georgio about the street car, he walked the couple across the street and give instructions on what to do. Absolutely suggest taking the time to visit. Two guests, appetizer, 2 lunch specials, water and tea bill was in the mid $60s without tip.“

“Stopped here after reading great reviews and absolutely did not dissapoint. Bruschetta was the best I ever had, Caesar salad was excellent as well. Pastas (bologna and funghi) were outstanding. We will definitely return on our next visit to the big easy. Highly recommend.“

“We were over the top with the entire meal. We started with the sampler appetizer and it was amazing. I had spaghetti and meatballs with the Italian house salad and my fiance had the meatball poboy. Everything was amazing and so delicious and the service was excellent. “I just want to take a minute to send a shout out to the best restaurant in Metairie and share our experience the other night. We had just rearranged our flights to leave key west and get home a day early due to hurricane Milton when we came straggling in completely exhausted, hungry, and looking a complete mess. We got to the restaurant at approx 9:10 knowing the restaurant closes at 9:30 but desperately hoping they could accommodate us. We were told that they had already started cleaning the kitchen and unsure if they would be able to serve us. After getting the green light to go ahead if we could order quickly, we were met with nothing but kindness, great service, and of course amazing food. It would’ve been very easy for them to have turned us away or treated us like the burden that we knew we were but instead we were given a soft place to fall to breathe a sigh of relief we were home and fill our bellies with the most amazing food after not eating all day. We cannot thank everyone enough and look forward to our next visit and promise we will make it in at a much more decent time next time.“

It’s their smaller, casual place specializing in small bites, pizza, specialty sandwiches and pasta. We placed an order for our Mardi Gras party, and the owner Sam was the best! Here’s what 25 pizzas, 9 sandwiches and 4 dozen hot tamales look like - To Go! The pizzas were delicious Roman style with fresh shaved meats. We ordered: Prosciutto and marscapone Speck & Brie Pepperoni and Italian Sausage Cheese and fresh arugula The sandwiches are made with their homemade focaccia bread! We had The Verona, Speck and Brie and Bresaola and arugula. Everything was well packaged delicious!“

“Food was average to good. Considering it's a chain restaurant, my expectation is never high. The service was great. However, the ladies room for dinner service was atrocious. Trash on the floor and water everywhere. The restroom didn't get checked at all that day. Good thing I went on my way out. I won't be back anytime soon, but my granddaughter likes their Chicken Alfredo, and that's the only reason I dine there.“

It was relatively late for dinner but I checked out Ditali's menu, saw that they were still open and decided to order the Calzone. I ordered online without any issues. Maaann....was I in for surprise. One of the legit best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are huge and the marinara was excellent! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful when I picked up! I will most certainly be recommending and dining with Ditali's again!“

“We were greeted pleasantly and seated quickly. Our waitress’s name was MaKayla and she was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine selections and tasting. We loved that it was Vino Thursday so we ordered a bottle (half price). We started off with the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was delicious. I’m not usually a Brussels sprout person but these were so good! I’d definitely order them again. My husband got the Marsala. He was very pleased as this is a favorite dish of his. I tend to be very, very picky about Alfredo but this was one of the best I’ve tasted. It was rich and creamy with just the right taste! The panéed chicken was tender, almost melt in your mouth, and very flavorful. The wine MaKayla suggested paired beautifully with both our entrees. To end the evening we ordered the tiramisu. It was heaven! I love tiramisu and was not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and had a very comfortable feel to it. I loved the light blue colors. It felt relaxing and inviting. Overall 5 stars!!!“
