“We are looking to buy a home in the Dennis- Yarmouth area. We will be back for lunch around 2 tomorrow 3-2-2024. We found your restaurant last month while shopping at Marshall's. Everything was excellent, food, drinks , waitress I have to say thou how impressed we were with your host. What a nice young man, very polite and well mannered. Kudos to his parents. I forgot his name, but it was around 2ish.“

I have traveled overseas and back multiple times, and all over the United States - and not once through my travels have I ever experienced such an amazing dining experience as it was tonight. He made our evening, from providing us top tier service to a thoughtful dessert for our anniversary- we couldn’t have asked for a better gentleman to serve us. “I decided to stop by the bar on an impromptu visit and get a margarita because it was Cinco de Mayo. Got truly excellent service from the bartender AJ, and perfect cocktails. Wanted to nosh a bit and got the chicken fingers and they were also very good!“

“We held an event at the Bass River golf course restaurant on 6/10/23 for a party of 40. The restaurant is now run by CHG Catering with their home office in East Windsor, CT. We rented their outdoor patio with its lovely water view. Our clambake buffet luncheon included chowder, lobsters, sirloin tips, netted steamers & mussels with sausage, coleslaw, muffins, and dessert. The food was excellently prepared, delicious. The onsite manager and waitstaff for the event were friendly and helpful. In addition to the patio rental, and buffet production, they charge an event production fee that covers gratuities and coordination for setting up the event. All attendees were pleased by the experience. Not inexpensive, but not disappointed. Thank you CHG !“

“We had a party of six and I am always a little concerned when I see tons of available reservations on open table for a particular restaurant. But in this case, I think it's just a matter of people maybe not wanting to go to a golf club restaurant that may be considered a little harder to get to. We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening and had wonderful drinks, appetizers, and our main meals were exceptional. Really no complaints whatsoever.“

“Had dinner last night for the first time. Food was great, our party of 7 had burgers and fish tacos. All raved how good it was. Waitress was excellent, very attentive and courteous. The atmosphere was the most disappointing part of the evening. The dinning area is open to the noise coming out of the bar area and can be loud. Especially when the live music is playing. Trying to hold a conversation around a large table is a challenge. Slatted hard composite chair seats can be uncomfortable. Good for lunch or a quick dinner but if looking for a place for a quiet dinner...............“

“If you are not Irish when you go in you are Irish when you come out. Delicious food, terrific Irish band, warm and friendly atmosphere, super staff. You sit down at your table and you don't want to leave. I can't wait to go back.“

“My mom and I were doing some Christmas related tasks on Main Street and wanted to get lunch. We go past a few places we know, can't agree on any of them, stop and peek at the menu here. It looked promising and was quiet so we went in. The waitress, Carla was friendly and prompt. Also a delightful conversationalist. The music is kept at a reasonable volume to still converse over at the table! Thank you for that. The pre-fixe menu had a pleasing variety of options at a reasonable price (30$ per person) for the ingredients involved so we went with that
Apps- I got the Bruschetta, used a perfectly balanced balsamic vinegar instead of the overly pervasive sickly sweet kind. Mom got the eggplant rollatini, beautiful, cheesy, their sauce is exquisite
Mains- I got Clams, mussels, and Calamari Fra Diavolo, which had exactly the bite I was hoping for. The sea food was perfectly cooked and texturally delightful. Mom got the pork Osso Bucco which was incredibly tender.
Desserts- tiramisu which was the best I have had since vacationing in Tuscany (a delightful shock), mom got the cheese cake. Tasty sauce and again, texture was fantastic

It was empty when I went which was tragic given the quality of the food. Highly advise for both food quality and Atmosphere“

“Visited for the first time after making a phone reservation more than a week ago - this place is very popular! Super friendly welcome, peaceful and calm atmosphere. We had two pasta mains that were very well made, al dente pasta, flavorful sauce. Very cozy on a chilly night. Service is perhaps a little slow but they want to make you feel comfortable and not rushed. Will definitely come back when we visit cape cod again!“

“I never write reviews, but I felt I had to this time. I never would have stopped here as it looks like a hole in the wall, but a woman we met at a bar told us how good it was. It was one of the best meals we've ever had, at the Cape and at home in CT (and we have great Italian food at home!). \n\nMy husband got the meatball app. The server, Aita, said it was ranked the best on the Cape, and my husband agreed (and he's had them everywhere). I got the haddock milanese over risotto, and he got the short rib ragu over pappardelle, and we shared bites. They were both amazing, and we have leftovers for tomorrow. We'll be back, no doubt!“

We shared a couple apps - one on special that wasn't anything great but also the charcuterie board which was very tasty! We ordered the Marsala, Parm and Steak and all were delicious! “I always love going to Tap City ! But this past Friday night they took things to another level of excellence. Friday of Labor Day weekend , we got lucky with the last outdoor table for two. We were in a rush to get to the show down the road. So when the waitress came up and asked if we would like anything to drink, I asked if it was at all possible to put in the whole order now so we could get going. Wow! They did not disappoint. Beers came out. With in 7-10 minutes the steak and cheese, and the beet salad came out Steak and cheese was delicious beet salad was second to none. The entire experience was 30 minutes . Which still gave me time to go across the road and buy a new hat I love this place. It’s my favorite place on Main Street.“

The server's were very attentive and friendly. This is our place to go every time we are in the area. I just wish they had different game on the tv not just the Patriots game. “Decided to try another local spot for dinner. Checked out their menu a head of time and their daily special of chicken pie and other specials seemed like a winner. We ordered 2 chicken pie dinners which came with a garden salad and mashed potato and butternut squash. The pie was very flavorful with a light flaky shell. The butternut squash was flavorful without being overly sweet or spiced. The mashed potato’s were homemade and lacked a little spice. Also ordered the fried scallops which she said were very flavorful And tender. We’ll definitely be coming back here again. These prices were very reasonable. $55 for our 3 meals.“
