“I really enjoyed the food here. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and felt thoughtfully prepared. The balance in the dishes was just right, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The service was also great. Everyone on the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
We did get asked to switch tables shortly after sitting down, which could have been a little frustrating, but they handled it so well. They offered a warm and sincere apology, and the way they approached it actually made us feel good about moving. It felt like they really cared about our experience.
The only downside was that the food took a while to come out. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth noting if you’re on a tight schedule. Thankfully, the quality of the food made the wait feel worth it.
All in all, this place left a great impression on me. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends.“

“My friend and I ended up staying at the bar after having reservations in the dining room. We are so happy we gave the bar a go. Tayla our bartender, was the best. We told her to surprise us.. she delivered. From apps, drinks, entrees, desserts ( Banana Dessert ) was great. We cant wait to come back to see Tayla. 5 stars“

“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. I forgot to show our waiter the photo I took of him, so I hope he sees it here.. Thank you 10/10 gor food and service.“

“The first time as a European tourist in Boston, of course, was also on my wish list to try a "lobster roll" for the first time in my life.\n\nOn a walk to the harbour, I came across JAMES HOOK & Co, where I was simply approached by the charming house, the decoration, the planting and the information that it was founded in 1925. \n\nMy credo is always "If a business has been on the market for such a long time...they know what they are doing, do it with passion and just have to be good + if someone values the external design, they also give value to their food and will prepare it well and create an appropriate ambience for them to shine and taste".\n\nUnfortunately, I had to realize that I was there three minutes before closing time, the employees were in the middle of cleaning up and cleaning. So I took a heart and asked one of the employees if I could still order a Lobster Roll quickly as it would be my last day in Boston and I would like to try a Lobster Roll once in my life. So he asked a colleague, who in turn went into the house and asked someone there. \n\nHe invited me to come in and I quickly ordered the original ...which I received within a minute and ate outside.\n\nSometimes simple compilations can be so good...even if you as a European can't imagine that at first and initially feel pity for the lobster that landed its triggered meat in simple mayo on a warm light simple bun...but honestly: \n\nIt was really delicious...and the composition was coherent. \nThe lobster meat was of very good quality...you could just taste it. It was nicely mixed with the delicious majo and pulled through, plus the warm bun....simple but damn delicious and authentic. \n\nI can wholeheartedly recommend it...and obviously many others. Because as I only read later, when I looked around on their website, JAMES HOOK & Co even received several awards.\n\nBesides, it is an owner-managed family business in the third generation..and such businesses that are an original and bring a lot of work and passion to their actions, I think it is important to support!“

“Don't pass on a chance to dine at Ostra. My wife and I went after a friend recommended it. We were absolutely amazed with the whole experience. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, our table was ready and our waiter was exceptionally attentive. The food was out of this world as were the cocktails. We will surely go back!“

“First time at Limani in Seaport Boston for lunch. There were 7 of us, we all got the lprix fixe lunch combos. The value for the quality of food and amount of food was amazing. We different appetizers and they all were fresh and plentiful. Our entrees were perfectly cooked and desserts were on point. We were all impressed by the food and service was good too.“

“Had my first visit to Bootleg Special last night and it did not disappoint. Every aspect of the meal, from the creative drinks to the delicious appetizers to the fantastic main course was outstanding. Our server, Alex, was attentive and very pleasant. “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“If you want to eat oysters in Boston, you have a lot of options. We tried Little whale oyster bar one night and it was really worth it. The food was good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. For such a small place, they know how to do it right. The oysters were really fresh. The fish and chips were soooo good.“

“I went there for a late lunch today. The stuffed clam dinner came with a large portion of fries, a tasting of coleslaw, cocktail sauce and a roll. To be honest, 1 stuffed clam and a few fries was MORE than filling! I took the rest home for dinner - it was delicious! It was relatively quiet when I was there, and it was hard to find waitstaff when I needed something she forgot (they were all congregated by the “seat yourself / cash only” sign). I would definitely go again and get the side order of stuffed clams next time.“

“I’d been wanting something spicy and carb-heavy for a long time, and this place absolutely hit the spot. Great for sharing, with spice levels to suit everyone. We tried the snow crab legs, shrimp po’ boy, and lobster rolls — the lobster rolls were the crowd favourite!
It is on the pricier side, but totally worth it for the quality and flavour. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be visiting again!“

“First of all, the cutest place! The food was excellent, we went on a week night so it wasn't busy and we got a selection of east coast oysters served with a mignonette. Love a place that knows their food, it was cool to be able to have oysters from different locations because a lot of places only have one selection and don't distinguish where they come from. Drinks were fantastic! Had a wonderful espresso martini. Also got the chicken sandwich which was SO good, crispy chicken, great fries, the sauce on it was delicious. I would repeat this place every week if I could!“

“Very tasty food, great service. No reservations, first come first serve. Prices are not super inexpensive but it is worth the cost. We were only grabbing a snack as we had some commitment afterward. Only pitty is that it is difficult to share bites if you are like me and want to try it all. I guess we will have to come back! 😜

“Our family of 5 were there yesterday/Thanksgiving for dinner. Our server Amanda was the best we have ever had at a restaurant. She is a gem, and they should be so happy to have her. This was our first time there, and the food was excellent. It is as good as Mooo, Capital Grille, Smith and Wolensky, and any of the high end restaurants at a lower price point. Don't hesitate to go there. You won't be sorry. Ask for Amanda to take care of you.“

“The food here was absolutely delicious! 😍 Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The clam chowder and lobster roll are a must-try — creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. 🦞
The only small downside was that we were a group of four, and one of us had to wait quite a while for their soup while everyone else was already served.
Still, the food was worth the wait — definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Boston. Highly recommend this place! 💙“

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“Had a great experience at The Banks Seafood and Steak in Boston! I stopped in for drinks at the bar and was truly impressed. Katie, the bartender, made one of the best lychee cocktails I’ve had — perfectly balanced and so refreshing. I also want to acknowledge Gary, the director of operations, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality.
