“The food is delicious, the service is very good, and half-price dishes are available from Monday to Thursday, and the environment is clean. There are separate toilets for men and women, with disposable toilet paper and a nice smell. It is a clean and tidy Northeastern restaurant with homely taste.“

“Highly recommend for hand pulled noodles(the name is a pretty hard giveaway). The bouncy texture and flavorful soup options are what you’ll want on a cold rain day or after a good workout. I would order the vegetable dumplings and vegetable mala pot or just pot, if spicy food is not for you (for any vegetarians and everyone) to try.“

“I discovered this restaurant while bicycling to Lexington on the Minuteman Trail. I love the traditional dining room with table cloths and Chinese decorations. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive. It has become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boston.“

“It's a very simple fly restaurant, but it's not easy to eat authentic Chinese food here. This kind of product is worth recommending. The dishes are very generous. Two people, one meat dish and one vegetarian dish, a bowl of rice, three cans of drinks + tip $50 Yuan, very satisfied with the meal. The price/performance ratio is very high and the service from the boss is also very good. The dining environment is average and there are few seats. If you miss the peak period, you don’t have to wait for a table. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.“

“The feeling that filled my heart in this moment was one finding a long lost love. One that you had once, one that eventually drifted apart due to whatever circumstances, and then finding each other again in the most unexpected moment and regaining that wonderful traction of a friendship all over again. Yes, I’m talking about food.
It was once a tale of two spots. One in Watertown and one right here. As I resided in closer to the Watertown location since the move here, I frequented it and found solace in their dishes - absolute comfort food that was done very well. However, like all businesses, things change and eventually the business was sold. I knew there was a transition period and the owner and chefs stuck around to “train” the new owners. I hoped that the “good” would remain and that the new owners would continue the tradition of wonderfully curated dishes and keep the regulars coming back. Did it happen? No. I gave them about a month of repeated visits to gauge their level of culinary competence but it never came through.
Long story short. I stopped going and that feeling of lost love began to fester.
I didn’t think much of it. I thought he had sold this place too since I’ve often overheard him saying how hard it was to run this business to his associates as he tried to satisfy every customer walking in the door or ringing the phone off the hook. So when I finally found a chance to be on this side of town, I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Maybe, maybe I thought, the new owners here would do a much better take on what they had taken over.
What I didn’t expect after placing an order was to see the owner walking out from the kitchen with dishes in hand to serve another table. Eyes wide open, I couldn’t help but say, “HEY! Good to see you again.” He in return showed the same look and smiled greeting me back with fondness and delight.
That’s when I spoke to the lady and asked more about the whole situation, wherein she explained how they sold the other place but kept this one. Regulars of the other spot now take the 15-20 minute drive just to come up here instead for a meal. I smiled. It made sense. They must have felt robbed when they went back after the place was sold. Food wasn’t even remotely the same. Don’t even talk about service either.
Anyways, long story short, when the food came out. I felt this completeness return back to my soul. Here, once again, I felt home away from home. The food did me justice. The flavors impeccable. The culinary finesse was displayed thoroughly with each bite. So it is, once again, I found my long lost love again in Boston and can’t wait to be here every single Sunday for a wonderful special meal that teleports me back to what “Home Tastes” like.“
“Yes, friends, they are open again! I was so sad when they closed due to the fire years ago. The restaurant is beautifully redecorated, the staff are friendly, and the food is just as delicious as I remembered! I’m so glad they’re back (as well as the other restaurants next door).“

“Simple Chinese Take Out. Conjure in your head above local take out joint. Better than Panda Express, or another chain. But still the kind of thing you're looking to pick up on your way home because you're tired & don't want to cook. Not for an extra special occasion.
Food is very good, knows what it is & fits in that niche. Highly recommend grabbing.“

“Best of hand made dumplings. Our whole family including little kids love them. Definitely try them! You don’t know what delicacies you are missing u til you try them. The wrappers’textures are amazing. It has soup in it and the meat is great.
Their rice and noodles dishes are all very good. Service is quick and friendly.“
“I saw Jayson Tatum here yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like five orders of crab rangoons in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bags and keyed in quantity x5, he stopped her and told her to enter each line individually “to prevent any math tricks,” and then turned around and winked at me. If he was making a joke, I guess I didn't get it. After she keyed in each individual order of rangoons and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.“

“Food is great when received fresh, they’re done quickly so better to just pick it up in my opinion.
I love the crab rangoons, the general tsao’s chicken, the veggie lo mein.
The establishment itself is outdated but it adds charm to the place, I love it.
Boneless spareribs are great, 😊 highly recommend this place for Chinese“

“This is going to be a long one but the short of it? This place is a must-try! I visited with a group in the evening. The drink menu offers all the classic boba flavors you'd expect, along with some unique twists like a soda lemonade drink that was super refreshing on a hot day. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, with plenty of seating, including cozy spots in the back if you want to get some work done as WiFi is available.
We weren’t planning to eat, but ended up ordering the popcorn chicken. It was the perfect snack. Later, we ordered their chicken teriyaki. The food is freshly made by the owner’s mother, which makes the whole experience feel extra special and fresh.
Beyond the food and drinks, this shop is full of surprises: handmade teas, press-on nails, and original artwork created by the owner, who is an incredible artist. You can purchase prints or postcards of their work, which adds such a personal and creative touch to the space. This is a family-owned gem with heart, flavor, and creativity. I already can’t wait to go back!“

“Chicken lo mein is mid, but the scallion pancakes are fresh and crispy, and Rick serves a stiff SB, but
I love this place for more than its good and reasonably priced fare. There’s a certain curb appeal that comes from having no windows that more modern establishments are still struggling to grasp. Rick is the most gracious host/server/bartender, and I welcome any additional business in his direction even if it’s just to hear his genuine, “You’re welcome,” each and every time you politely thank him for something. It’s fun to go for some drinks with a few friends when it’s dead, and fun to go to celebrate your birthday when it’s popping. Give it a whirl!“

“It’s been awhile since we last visited. Dim sum tasted as good as we remembered.
Everything was steamy hot.
Our favorites are the crispy pork chashu buns. This time we have to order them. They were in the push carts.
Shrimp dumplings (ha gow), pork and shrimp sui mai were really good!
Steamed Bean curds pork rolls came with three in the steamer was delicious too!
Chicken feet with black beans and garlic, fried taro dumplings, steamed pork ribs, lotus leaves wrap with sticky rice, fried sesame balls with red bean paste inside, tofu pudding….They were all very good!
Except the jelly fish and radish… they tasted from a package. A little mala taste (numbing) seasoning. We didn’t enjoy that!
Service was excellent! The waitstaff are always so fast and friendly!
Clean restroom and restaurant seems pretty spacious!
Get there at 10 am when they open then you won’t have to wait.
By 10:30 am it was a full house on a Sat am! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“We were big fans of this place years ago when we lived nearby, but hadn't had them since a disappointing meal over a year ago. I'm happy to report we gave them another try and everything was perfect! We had chicken fingers, scallion pancakes, and crab Rangoon all fried to perfection, not greasy or burnt. Peking dumplings were delicious, and generous portions of everything in the combination dinners! This place is definitely worth giving another try if you were on the fence before!“

“I was lucky enough to try their take out on American New Years. Their fried chicken, Char Sui pork, fried pork dumplings, scallion pancake, and fried rice are served hot and are very tasty...fresh ingredients, well prepared. The beef skewers were very tasty. The exterior of their restaurant is painted a cheerful Rose Madder pink. They have wooden Chop sticks and sides of " plum sauce " or, as its also known as , " Duck sauce." I hope to return there soon. This is a popular Waltham Spot. I'm pretty sure ine can order online as well and through Uber, Grub Hub, and Door Dash.“

“We were a little skeptical after reading some reviews but decided to give it a try as it was within walking distance from our hotel. I got the beef with broccoli combo with fried rice, chicken fingers, and an egg roll. My wife ordered the szechuan chicken with white rice, crab rangoon, and a spring roll. Both were very good and served hot. We each brought about half of our meals home. I would definitely go back again - price was reasonable also.“

“This is my 3rd time here. My husband & his best friend use to go here almost regularly whenever
they got together. His friend has passed away. Our waitress asked how he was doing & very understanding and thoughtful herself when she found out. The place is happily decorated (they have a Christmas tree all decorated in the entrance for the joy it brings!!)Bell like music & 2 TVs with sports on. They are at least 2 sisters all 3 ladies recognized & greeted us. Food is excellent!!! We both had soup -hot & sour for me, wonton for him- fresh & tasty, wonton seem to be freshly made. I love seaweed salad- theirs is the only I have ever been srved w/out iceberg lettuce
'filler'!!. He had sweetened chicken fried rice & a spring roll, I had their tofu w.garlic sauce & white rice. Food was delicious. Hospitality genuine and sweet. Atmosphere unique and pleasant. Paid city parking and plenty of it. There's a small bar.Bathroom accom
modations are clean and spacious
We will be back often. They have been in business for awhile for clearly obvious reasons!!“
