“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“Very flavorful sandwiches and salads. I had the chicken pita, my family members had the vege chikn hummus dip with pita, and the falafel sandwich. All of which were delicious and full of flavor. Very friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. Will definitely be back if I come back to Boston. Very small inside with only a couple tables so be mindful of party size if trying to sit. The to go boxes for the sandwiches were very convenient though!“

The Bianco pizza stole the show—it was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. The staff is super friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and inviting. The vibe of the place is casual and fun, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. Everything felt fresh, tasty, and just done right. “It matches the hype. The Sicilian Pizza is…perfect. There’s not enough superlatives to do it justice and if there were, even then it wouldn’t reach hyperbole. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.“

“Normally I’m a traditional Pad Thai or Pad See Ew but I branched out to try the Panang Curry. It was SO GOOD! Definitely reccomend. My table got Pad Thai, Basil Rice and the See Ew and they thought it was great as well! Server was super accommodating and attentive.“

“Food was great! Service was not. Took about 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks. I ordered the soup to start and had to wait 10 minutes for a spoon after it was delivered. We had a couple online gift cards to use and even though there is an QR code listed, there is no way for the restaurant to scan them...so the waitress had to write down the number and run it manually. She had the manager come over to tell us one of the gift cards didn't work and we needed to call some number to sort it out. I suggested we double check the gift card number first and was told in a condescending tone “we can but we have this issue a lot”.....she had written the number wrong so it was their fault. It was just a really disappointing experience at an upscale restaurant that we have visited a lot in the past. They also took the bohemian cocktail off their menu and that was the best!“

“The wait staff is incredibly friendly. We heard the onion rings were heavenly. We were not disappointed. However the salad we ordered and shared was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. I think it was the Hot Cold Chicken Salad. Absolutely delicious! After 10 pm the sandwiches are half price and they all looked delicious too!!“

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. “THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.“

Beyond the incredible, healthy food and friendly staff, the brands philosophy and approach to food service aligns with everything I could want in a restaurant.
